Uninstalling CW LMS 3.2 fails

Hello,
I tried to uninstall CW LMS 3.2 but after I got this message:
Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is running. This locks processes and impedes installation. To avoid WMI conflicts, this Setup program will stop and immediately restart the WMI service.
Do you want to proceed?
nothing happens. I pressed "OK" but then the program stops responding. What's the problem?

David,
Prior to uninstalling OR installing Ciscoworks you need to disable the WMI service from Windows Services tool (admin tools --> Services).  Then rerun the uninstall/install application.

Try updating your mdf device package as well. Device package for Common Services.
For current Nexus device package issue, each device package is not individual, but has some dependant packages. Without which they are tend to fail during installation check.
You can select all the available device packages and try to install. It seems you dont have SharedDcmaIOS (3.1.7) installed and hence the package is failng due to pre-requisite.
You have to install each package which fails which consistancy check on other packages.
For mdf package update, you can select common service as well and check for update.
There may be some 3850 device packages already available, please share output of following command for us to see :
    NMSROOT/bin/psucli -p rme -q -all

    Dear,
I am doing the migration for LMS 2.6 from to a new server, after system installation, I tried to do the data backup and restore.
I did the data resotre by command:

Where D:\CSCOpx is the installation path of the LMS 2.6.
But the restore failed with log as below, is there anyone could help to check what the problem is?

    Dear Nick,
Thanks for your reply, I have tried to do a new backup and restored it, but still the same.
Then I checked the backup file, found only three folder: campus, cmf, rmeng. No folder for Comman Service
I think that may be why system couldn't find the file: lib\classpath\com\cisco\nm\cmf\servlet\cwpass
Is there's the problem? Why there's no backup file for Comman Service?

  • Uninstall of DM 4.6 fails (is this beta sofware or what?)

    Please watch the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZggrInv9Jw
I've had so little joy with the Blackberry DM it's become almost funny, except for the fact that I am now almost totally dependent upon it. So, when my Blackberry DM stops working, which seems too often, I get upset.
    The Synch stopped working.
None of the spaghetti linked 'help sheets' in the 'knowledge base' (nearly three hours chasing dead leads) helped so I decide to uninstall DM4.6 and start over...
    Uninstall fails!(see the vid)
The blackberry DM can't even remove itself! Now, one of the tech guys is going to tell me to go into Regedit to fix it... which is a path I've already been down!
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6Xxo73Wvp0
I'm not joking. The blackberry DM appears to be just barely above beta.
I'll keep posting videos so the world can see what Blackberry really means, at least for one user, in terms of support and software. Maybe someone will help with better software, a better fix (going into regedit? to clean out software? come on!) or my walking papers to the competition.
    Fed up and frustrated,
    Dennis

    Hi Dennis
Sorry you've had so a rough time with the desktop manager, I can only imagine how frustrating that is.
    >>>>>>Yes, it is
I looked through some of your videos. Couple of things, or questions I should say. When you removed the desktop manager, did you go through the add/remove programs?
    >>>>>>>Yes, I did use the uninstaller and not a special application, just standard "add and remove" with XP Pro 3.
I noticed you deleted a bunch of things through the registry ( which is never a good practice ) instead of just using the add/remove programs.
    >>>>>>>>I went to regedit BECAUSE the uninstaller did not work.
When you delete in the registry, you never really know how those programs are going to interact with other programs on your computer. But, onto the desktop manager....
After you initially uninstalled the desktop manager, did you ever reboot your computer?
    >>>>>>>>Yes. I reboot after major installs of applications. DM included.
After you uninstalled it, and it didn't get removed from your system, in your video your making a point of it not working... Well you just uninstalled it, obviously it is not working correctly anyway, it most likely will not work correctly
    after.
Have you tried using DM4.7? Looked as if you using 4.6 in your video.
    >>>>>>I have 4.7 now, and tried uninstalling 4.6 but look at my post above re: 4.7 not being installed correctly... neither 4.6 or 4.7 ever finish registering modules... the machine sits for HOURS hanging on registering modules... I have  a video of it. 4.6 and 4.7 demonstrate same 'hang' on registering modules. Ok, I recognize that is probably the source of my problems but the DM never finishes the install!

Are you using any custom program to remove programs? ( perfect uninstaller, revo uninstaller )
    >>>>>>>.Not using them.
These programs suck, they are terrible, they are going to cause you more problems then they are worth, they fix a problem that does not exist. If you are using a solution like that. I would try to just use the windows add/remove programs.
    >>>>>>>I have been.
But assuming you aren't doing that, if you open control panel, and go to admin tools, event viewer and go to the application log, it should tell you exactly what happens when you try to uninstall it. What does that error say?
    >>>>>>I'll take a look at that.

  • Adobe CS2 uninstall (as administrator, no antivirus) fails on Windows with "Missing or Invalid Personalization Information", "Missing resources library"

My previously fully functional Adobe CS2 install on Windows 7 x64 stopped working when the activation service for CS2 was shut down.
I tried to follow the re-installation instructions at the following web page which first require a complete uninstall of Adobe CS2:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l
Running as a local administrator in elevated mode and without a running antivirus (in fact, with an uninstalled antivirus), I get the following error message and the uninstaller refuses to run:
The installer could not start because of the following reasons:
    Missing or Invalid Personalization Information
    Missing resources library
I searched the forums and found matching threads such as these:
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1602420
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1547148
    https://forums.adobe.com/thread/986439
but they seem to suggest insufficient privileges or an interfering antivirus.
I opened a chat support case (case number: 0214720731) responded to by @Arunkumar who sent me back to the forums.  When I said similar queries had not been resolved for months, he promised to escalate to his "senior product expert" team to post a solution.  I am posting this message in the hope they will respond with useful suggestions as I do not want to do a complete Windows re-install of an otherwise perfectly functional computer just because the Adobe uninstaller doesn't work.

You have insufficient privileges to access the registry or your virus scanner is blocking it. Nothing Adobe can fix for you, you need to find the culprit on your system and/ or fix the registry permissions as explained here:

  • I was using my Design Standard 3 one day, then got the message I did not have access to this program - contact Adobe; a rep said uninstall/reinstall.  The reinstall failed.  What can I do next?

Uninstall seemed to work, but adobe folders remained in program files.  Reinstall just gave the message that an "error occured" with all the design standard components.  I did not install any new software between one use and the next.  I had installed a new virus program the previous day.  (windows vista operating system)

Re: the advice of 1-12-15 about troubleshooting the error, the below directions came from that trouble shooting website.  In black (***) is what I found when I tried to follow those directions.
About Creative Suite product install logs
The installers for Adobe Creative Suite 3 and Adobe Creative
Suite 4 record their actions in a log. These logs can be useful in determining
if certain errors occurred during an installation. For silent installations,
the log file is the only place that records error messages.
Analyze Creative Suite 3 and Creative
    Suite 4 product install logs
    Navigate
to the log files in one of the following folders:
         • Windows
         64-bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
I went to the internet site listed in the
above email  (directions here are taken
directly from that website). Taking the pathway described above, I come up with
    the following:  Under “installers” there
are two folders: 0e772471f6aed60c960ed5260 and “InDesign5”  which is empty ;  The first folder contains two additional
folders, payloads and resources plus two .dll files and an application file (“set
    up”).  Resources contains four folders,
an HTML file and an XML file.  Payloads
    contains  Many folders, all “modified”
the last time I tried to install the software.
Without looking through all the folders, I have not found any .log.gz
    files.
    The log filename
includes the product name and install date (CS4) or just the product name
(CS3), followed by “.log.gz.” The extension .gz indicates a compressed format.
RippedOffByAdobe I would recommend reviewing the installation logs to determine the cause of the installation failure.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation log files at Troubleshoot installation with install logs | CS3, CS4.

  • How to uninstall Elements 6 after a failed installation?

My wife bought Elements 6 and I attempted to install it on her ibook, but entered the serial number incorrectly. Clearly some parts of the installation downloaded but these prevent a re-installation and need to be removed by an uninstaller. There is no uninstaller on the installation CD. I have installed it on my mac to make sure it works and it does, but where can I get the uninstaller?

Yes, there is an uninstaller, but it's stupidly hard to find. You start the install, only choose Remove Components rather than Install Components when you get to that screen. Are you sure your ibook meets the requirements for PSE 6? (some do not)

  • Cannot uninstall PSE10 after failed install (Windows 7 Home Premium)

I am trying to install Photoshop Elements 10 from a disk.
The process has gone like this:
I restarted my laptop and made sure it's Windows Updates were up-to-date.
I uninstalled the PSE9 trial that I had on this computer (that had expired a while ago).
    Restarted laptop.
Put PSE10 disk 1 into drive and ran Autoplay.exe. [Maybe I accidentally ran it twice as at a later point I vaguely remember seening a message box saying 'can't ran ... at the same time' or something like that]
I chose the 'Install PSE10 option' - with no Premier trial.
The install app opened in a normal way and ran for several minutes while I did something else.
When I next looked it was displaying a message saying something like Couldn't install Shared Technologies...
I looked the issue up on the web and found an Adobe page saying to install Adobe Support Advisor, which I did and this identified the issue as "cpsid_83574r3: Read or write file system errors when installing - Creative Suite 5"
There was also a link to a help page which suggested Uninstalling the program, renaming any remaing PSE10 folders and reinstalling.
So I ran Uninstall - by running Autoplay.exe on the disk (couldn't find any other way).
This quickly produced an error and reported that no changes had been made.
I changed the name of the 'Photoshop Elements 10' and 'Elements 10 Organizer' folders anyway. This involved going into safe mode as the first folder would not delete.
Then I tried reinstalling. But everytime I try to reinstall via autoplay.exe it just offers me the uninstall option and this always fails with error message: Error 2343.Specified path is empty
    What do I do next????

    Jeff,
I have tried renaming the folders back to what they were - to no effect.
Uninstall does not work either by:
Using Control Panel -> Programs and Features. Photoshop Elements does not appear anywhere in the list of installed programs.
Running the Installation from the disk - it says it's going to do an uninstall and gives a 2343 error and says nothing's been changed.
The link you gave did not seem relevant as it was about looking at the install log and trying to spot the problem there. But the install log I have tells me what happened when I tried to run the original installation process.
I did manage to find the uninstall log.
The bit where things goes wrong looks like:
    Action 17:06:45: SetCustomShortCutDir_uninstall.
    Action start 17:06:45: SetCustomShortCutDir_uninstall.
    Error 2343.Specified path is empty.
MSI (s) (EC:5C) [17:06:48:358]: Product: Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 -- Error 2343.Specified path is empty.
When I search for 'CustomShortCut', I find thsi further down the log
    Property(S): CustomShortCutDir = C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\
(I've checked and this directory does exist, but just has a shortcut to the Photoshop Elements 10 exe)
and a bit further down the log I found:
    Property(C): CustomShortCutDir = P:\CustomShortCutDir\
This directory didn't exist (obviously). I do have a P: drive (an ordinary partition on my HDD), so I created the dir. But there was no effect the next time I tried to run uninstall.

  • Exit code 6, ERROR: DF036 and Link to Adobe Support Fails

Why does to link to customer support on the CS6 installation error fail?  It is pointing to www.stage.adobe.com but that link continues to fail?  I tried getting a chat engineer but he just refers me to these discussion forums.  How do you get help in getting this software installed?

    Pattie
Thanks for the interest in this problem.  I am using a Dell XPS 9100 computer, with the Intel Core i7 CPU, 9 GB of memory and the Win 7 64 bit operating systeam
Here is a quick synopsis of what has happened so far:
The original install went smoothly about two weeks ago (March 24th).
Just recently I noticed that the PTLens plugin was not showing up in CS6.  So I dragged the PTLens64.8BF file over to the 64 bit CS6 plugin folder.  PT Lens still did not show, but I started to get error messages about a C++ module that wouldn't load as CS6 was starting up and the CS6 start up would fail
I removed the PTLens plugin file, but CS6 still wouldn't start, and I kept getting the strange messags about C++ modules not loading.
I tried to reinstall CS6 but that failed, I don't remember the exact cause.
I tried to uninstall CS6 but that also failed to run to completion.
Based on a recommendation from this forum, I then proceeded to manually delete any folder or file with the "CS6" string in the name.  There were a bunch of files in both the 64 and 32 bit folder trees.  I also had to manually remove all the shortcuts relating to CS6 from the Start button.
After restarting and so forth the CS6 program was still listed in the Control Panel Program List.   I was able to get an "Uninstall Complete" as shown below.
The next CS6 install yielded a partial success ... the message says "installation complete" but there are errors.  The text of the error file is include at the bottom of this message; no fatal errors, just errors/warnings.  After this installation, there were no CS6 files in either the 64 or 32 bit folder trees for "Program Files/Adobe/" or "Program Files (x86)/Adobe".  No CS6 options show in the Start list.  CS6 does show up in the Control Panel "Program and Features" list so I could possibly uninstall it again.
Based on Noel's recommendation my next step will be to rename all the offending files in the error listing to see if the next reinstall will run correctly.  All of these files are in "common" folder areas so are probably shared with CS5.  Probably I will uninstall first, then try the reinstall.  This will take a little time and so I may not be able to do this right away.  Any suggestions you have will be very helpful.

  • Captivate and LMS JavaScript Problem

We use Captivate and a Plateau LMS. We had an issue with
bookmarking within our course. The first lesson worked just fine,
but later lessons were not bookmarking. We added javascript alerts
to the code to see when the Captivate content was setting LMS
    variables.
We feared the issue was the bandwidth between the client and
the LMS was so limited that the script attempting to set the LMS
variables was failing, but this is not the case. The script appears
to not run at all sometimes at random intervals. When it does run
it is successful each time. The first lesson, which works reliably,
is much smaller than the other lessons, maybe the size of the SWF
factors into the ability for the script to run properly?
Has anyone else run across this issue? Does anyone have
advice in deeper troubleshooting an issue like this?
    Any input is appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Chris

I think that CP3 sends back its data on a time basis, not a
    slide
basis...like every 7 seconds or something?
We've had customers who are tracking interaction data in
    their CP
quizzes which have like 40 questions. If they go through it
    too quickly,
the timed 'save' to the LMS gets behind quickly...so by the
    time the
user is done, only 2/3rds of the suspend data has been
    saved...
And I imagine the bookmark could be left out entirely as
    well.
So see if it's a timing thing? Go through slowly, see if
    posting happens
on a timed basis...maybe that will help determine where the
    issue is...
I do wonder how CP4 sends its data back...

  • Exchange 2003 Removal fails w/ Error code 0X80072030 (8240): There is no such object on the server- pls read

    Dear all,
I know there are quite some threads regarding this issue. But I've been looking at all of them w/o any solution for my problem. Here we go...
I've followed all instructions for a Exchange 2003 to 2010 transition. All went fine to the point I'm trying to uninstall Exchange 2003 via Control Panel/Software/Remove. So far I did the following:
    1. Move mailboxes to Exchange Server 2010 using Move Mailbox Wizard or Powershell => successfully
    2. Rehome the Offline Address Book (OAB) generation server to Exchange Server 2010  => successfully
    3. Rehome Public Folder Hierarchy on new Exchange Server 2010 Admin Group  => successfully
    4. Transfer all Public Folder Replicas to Exchange Server 2010 Public folder store  => successfully
    5. Delete Public and Private Information Stores from Exchange 2003 server  => successfully
    6. Delete Routing Group Connectors to Exchange Server 2003  => successfully
    7. Delete Recipient Update Service agreements using ADSIEdit according to
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288905(EXCHG.80).aspx => successfully
    8. Uninstall all Exchange 2003 servers => fails with "Error code 0X80072030 (8240): There is no such object on the server"
I used the following articles while migrating to Exchange 2010:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288905(EXCHG.80).aspx
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833396/en-us
    http://www.simple-talk.com/content/article.aspx?article=882
    and several more.
I looked into these forums regarding my problem and came up with:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283089/en-us
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822931
I investigated the following possible reasons:
    - homeMDB attribute (no references to my Exchange 2003 anymore)
    - HomeMDBBL attribute (as described here
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrmigration/thread/f0e3edd7-34e5-46b8-8061-1991aaffc30f) (no Information Stores available anymore as they have been successfully removed)
    - msExchHomeServerName attribute (all pointing to my new Exchange 2010 server)
    - the "famous" postmaster issue as described here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283089/en-us (pointing to the new Exchange 2010 server)
In order to investigate all attribute related issues a utilized a VBS script resulting in an Excel sheet I was easily able to filter:
    SET objRootDSE = GETOBJECT("LDAP://RootDSE")
    strExportFile = "C:\temp\MyExport.xls"
    strRoot = objRootDSE.GET("DefaultNamingContext")
    strfilter = "(&(objectCategory=Person)(objectClass=User))"
    strAttributes = "sAMAccountName,msExchHomeServerName,homeMDB,legacyExchangeDN,givenName,sn," & _
                                    "initials,displayName,physicalDeliveryOfficeName," & _
                                    "telephoneNumber,mail,wWWHomePage,profilePath," & _
                                    "scriptPath,homeDirectory,homeDrive,title,department," & _
                                    "company,manager,homePhone,pager,mobile," & _
                                    "facsimileTelephoneNumber,ipphone,info," & _
                                    "streetAddress,postOfficeBox,l,st,postalCode,c"
    strScope = "subtree"
    SET cn = CREATEOBJECT("ADODB.Connection")
    SET cmd = CREATEOBJECT("ADODB.Command")
    cn.Provider = "ADsDSOObject"
    cn.Open "Active Directory Provider"
    cmd.ActiveConnection = cn
    cmd.Properties("Page Size") = 1000
    cmd.commandtext = "<LDAP://" & strRoot & ">;" & strFilter & ";" & _
                                       strAttributes & ";" & strScope
    SET rs = cmd.EXECUTE
    SET objExcel = CREATEOBJECT("Excel.Application")
    SET objWB = objExcel.Workbooks.Add
    SET objSheet = objWB.Worksheets(1)
    FOR i = 0 To rs.Fields.Count - 1
                    objSheet.Cells(1, i + 1).Value = rs.Fields(i).Name
                    objSheet.Cells(1, i + 1).Font.Bold = TRUE
    NEXT
    objSheet.Range("A2").CopyFromRecordset(rs)
    objWB.SaveAs(strExportFile)
    rs.close
    cn.close
    SET objSheet = NOTHING
    SET objWB =  NOTHING
    objExcel.Quit()
    SET objExcel = NOTHING
    Wscript.echo "Script Finished..Please See " & strExportFile
What I did find is that all my Exchange enabled users have an legacyExchangeDN attribute that is still pointing to my Exchange 2003 organization:
    e.g. "/o=First Organisation/ou=First Administrative Group/cn=Recipients/cn=Administrator"
    Could this cause any problems?
Now the in depth look into my "Exchange Server Setup Progress.log":

Nothing so far. In case some more information is needed just let me know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I absolutely don't know how to remove my Exchange 2003. Manual removal is not an option.
    Alex

I kept on searching and found something else:
    http://www.outlookforums.com/threads/33038-cannot-uninstall-Exchange-2000
It says that the following groups need to be resided in the AD's default "Users" organizational unit:
    - Exchange Domain Servers
    - Exchange Enterprise Servers
    - Exchange Services Group
Unfortunately I cannot find the "Exchange Services Group". Does that have something to do with my problem?
Furthermore I found out that the Exchange 2003 has been originally installed with SBS 2003 back in time. The SBS 2003 has then be migrated to a regular Windows Server 2003 infrastructure with 2 DCs. But there still is a load of stuff reminiscent of SBS
    2003 within the AD.
Then I dug deeper into my AD using ADSIEdit. I found another attribute homeMTA that is pointing to a corresponding Exchange server. After adjusting my aforementioned VBS script a was able to look into that attribute as well. I found 2 users pointing to my old
Exchange server within their homeMTA attribute.
Furthermore I saw that when trying to uninstall Exchange 2003 there is no path to my installation anymore. It's empty:
    Another issue?
    Regards
    Alex

  • Can't install or uninstall apps after installing N...

I downloaded Nokia Maps via the Nokia website this morning, and tried to install it on my E71-1. On my PC, it said 'continue installation on phone' or something to that effect, so I looked at my phone to see 'File corrupted'. I figured it may have just been a dodgy installation, so I tried again. The same thing happened.
I have since tried to remove it from my phone, but receive a message saying 'Removing failed'. I kind of thought nothing of it, and figured I'd try again later, or I'd find a solution. I left it alone, and tried to uninstall a theme I have. I once again got the 'Removing failed' message. I have since tried to install apps but I get 'File corrupted', or whilst trying to uninstall anything, I get 'Removing failed'.
I have to assume that it has something to do with the Nokia Maps installation, but of course I'm not 100% sure. I'm still stuck back in firmware version 100.07.76, as I got this phone from a friend a few months ago, and she had no idea about phones so never updated it. I'm waiting on a usb cable, and I believe I am unable to update the firmware without one.
Anyway, I would really love to be able to use my phone properly again! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I'm sorry, I actually did a hard reset, I'm not sure why I wrote soft reset!
A soft reset will basically just restore the phone to it's factory settings. You shouldn't lose any data when you do this, but you should definitely still back up your phone first.
    To do a ‘soft reset’
    Switch on the phone
When the phone on the standby mode enter the code *#7780#
The security code should be 12345 unless you have changed it.
The factory settings would be restored and there will (hopefully) be no data loss.
Now this is what I did...
A hard reset will definitely delete everything off your phone. After you've done a hard reset and turned your phone back on, it will be just like it was the day you bought it. Please make sure you backup your phone (contacts, photos, music, everything!) before doing a hard reset.
    Switch on the phone
While the phone is the standby mode enter this code *#7370#
The phone would ask for a password, the default password is 12345 unless you have changed it before
From memory, the phone will restart itself, or you may have to turn it back on... but that's it. You're done.
    Hope this helped Thylacine

  • Custom device prompt in Ciscoworks LMS

    Hello,
In emerging network infrastructure of our client we decided to use some custom promps at device VTY (SSH and Telnet). Console users are network authenticated by means of ACS, and in case ACS is not reachable, we decided to use login prompts as follows:
    Username(local):
    Password(local):
In this local mode, when CiscoWorks LMS (3.1) tries to collect configuration of switches, VLAN configuration exactly, we got such error messages in LMS interface:
TELNET: Failed to establish TELNET  connection to 10.52.0.1 - Cause: Authentication failed on device 3 times. VLAN  Config fetch is not supported using TFTP. Command failed VLAN Config fetch is  not supported using RCP.
Of course, we have checked the possibility to got from LMS host to these devices by SSH and Telnet, credentials are correct, only login prompts are as described earlier.
I conclude, we need to tell LMS to accept our custom prompts. Is there any possibility and how to achieve this?

If you're sure the failure is due to the custom prompt, yes, you can simply follow the steps in the following document to let LMS know about that:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps2073/products_tech_note09186a00801442c9.shtml

  • Problem: LMS 3.2 SP1 do not connect to CCO for software and device updates

    LMS 3.2.1
When I try to check Software and Device packages updates for LMS components, it fails with "Error while downloading package information from Cisco.com for the selected products. See the d:/CSCOpx/log/psu.log file for details." diagnostics.
CSCOpx\log\psu.log shows that it fails with 404 error. Looking to wireshark capture, I see that software make GET to http://www.cisco.com, then GET to http://cco.cisco.com/cgi-bin/login, then GET to www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/WLAN/cwselectfile.cgi with some params, which result in "404 Not Found" error nevermind which product (Common Services, Campus Manager, RME, DFM or others) I try to get updates on.
Is there any patch or solution for it?

have you installed the patch for bug ID CSCto46927, yet?
the details form the Bug Tool Kit:
    ============================
Psu support changes from CCO to SPRIT
    Symptom:
After the 16th of June 2011 LMS will no longer be able to download Software and Device Package updates, or PSIRT and End of Sale/Life information from CCO
    Conditions:
Hosted services in Cisco.com that are being leveraged by LMS, for downloading the latest Software and Device Package updates, as well as the PSIRT and End of Sale/Life information are being migrated to a new framework and the old services will be retired.
This will affect all LMS 3.x and 4.x versions.
Refer to https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-16806 for more information
    Workaround:
Users of LMS 3.2.1 , 4.0 should install the patch that can be downloaded from cisco.com
Users of earlier version will need to upgrade to LMS 3.2 and then install the LMS 3.2 SP1 patch set before installing the patch
