Uninstalling earlier versions of Lightroom and Elements
I have Lightroom V4.4 and Photoshop elements 12 upgrading from earlier versions. Can I uninstall the earlier versions without impacting the current versions?

Ask in the specifc product forums. There may be issues with shared components and catalogs. If you don't need the disk space, just leave everything in place.

Uninstalling previous versions of Photoshop and Lightroom
I would like to uninstall previous versions of Photoshop and Lightroom in order to free up space. What is the proper procedure for doing so? Is it recommended to do?

It's not recommended nor is it not recomemnded. It's entirely your own decision. As Curt said, there are certain side effects, in addition to file associations also shared components possibly breaking down (PDF libraries), so if it's not that critical, leave them in place. otehrwise you may have to reinstall CS6 after you have removed the other versions.

I got a new MacBook pro and want to install my lightroom and elements 11.
I uninstalled both programs on my old computer and this computer were set to factory setting and sold.
When I try to install on my new computer - after informing my serial numbers, I get the answer, that this number is not correct. II of course checked again, and the typed numbers are correct. The same as mentioned on you webside under my file.
please help.

thanks for mail. I now tried again to activate lightroom by copying the serial number on Adobe webside/my account. Unfortunately same result: I got the following message:
The serial number is invalid. Please try again: if the problem persist, please contact customer support.
Unfortunately the could or would not help - only referred to this chat page.
I have serial numbers for both version 4 and 5 and of course downloaded the latest, which is version 5.

firstly this is a user to user forum so it's not our website, nevertheless I'm sure we can help you.
Firstly, are the serial numbers you're using for the same version of Lightroom?
If they are, then I'd suggest copying the serial numbers straight from your profile on the Adobe website to the Lightroom screen rather than retyping. It's easy to mistype even when you're sure you're not (we've had several such instances in the past).
Can you five us the exact wording of the error message (or a screen grab as long as it doesn't reveal the serial numbers as this a public forum)?

Do you also need to delete any folders?
I have Updated to the new LR CC version a couple of days ago and need space.Knowing whether you are using a Mac or a PC would be rather important to answer your question.
Anyhow, there is not need to delete any program folder manually. Simply use the respective method of your OS.
LR CC created a copy of your LR5 catalog and upgraded it. If you remove LR5 you might want to remove the catalog file as well as the preview folder (make sure not to delete the new ones of LR CC ).

Thanks for replying and sorry I’m not too much into this. It doesn’t say which version but I assume its the first as I bought it in 2007 saying its made in Ireland. Number on the disc is 90062864 1/07. I hope that might help, if this isn’t Windows 8 compatible can it get an upgrade?

Hello, I recently downloaded a trial version of Lightroom and then decided to get the monthly photoshop membership. Now, when I launch Lightroom, my choices are to enter a serial number to continue the trial. On the adobe website, it says "You can convert your trial to a Creative Cloud complete or single-app membership by purchasing on the Creative Cloud website. After you purchase your membership, your desktop product trial will automatically be licensed upon relaunch." But this is not the case. I do not want to risk losing my catalog and the work I have already done in Lightroom, so what should I do?

I have the latest Creative Cloud versions of Lightroom and Lightroom Mobile on my Ipad. On my desktop I have created a collection which I have put in a custom order. On my Ipad I go into that collection and set the order to custom order, which I presume means the order I have on my desktop. However, the photos on the Ipad seem to be just random photos from the collection THEN the rest of the collection is in the correct order after that.

You can trigger the Lr Desktop diagnostig log via LR Desktop preferences -> Lightroom Mobile and when you hold down the alt key you will notice a generate diagnostic log button.
The Lr Mobile app log can be triggered when you open up the settings and long press the to LR Icon a diagnostic log will be generated and attached to your local mail client. While opening the settings could you double check if you are signed-in?

When will Lightroom and Elements support the Nikon D600?
When will Lightroom and Elements support the Nikon D600? In the meantime is there a workaround so the D600 raw files can be exported to Lightroom or am I simply out of business until Adobe develops the needed patch?
As best as I have been able to figure out I may as well rebox the 600 and go back to my older, supported camera, until whenever.A: What were you using before your precious D600 showed up today.
A D90 with good glass.
Nikon 70-200 f2.8, Nikon 24-70 f2.8, Voigtlander 58 f1.4, Tokina 11-16 f2.8.
Now I need to get a good FF wide solution for the D600.
Trigger on the D600 is much more stiff than my D90 so I'm having to press down a bit harder to get the AF confirmation. Just need to get used to that I guess.
FYI, JPG files right out of the camera are looking good.

I had been using Apple's Aperture and switched to Lightroom a couple of months ago. I thought the price was actually quite fair for the power of the LR software. I did have to updgrade my computer's RAM....

We did enjoy some vino last night! I was thinking I would possibly jump ship to Sony A99 and just switch to all Zeiss glass with autofocus, but I'm not convinced that the EVF is for me, and I'm really not a video shooter, mostly just landscape and real estate. Also, I the Sony turned out to be priced a bit too high for me personally in comparision to the D600.

If you registered the license with Adobe, then you should be able to download the software from your "My Plans and Products" associated to you Adobe ID. Assuming you are logged in with your Adobe ID, try here:

Trying to be sure I have latest versions of Lightroom and Photoshop (I am on monthly subscription plan). After I sign in - told I need "administrative privileges to continue." The initial downloads went without any problem. I am not sure what to do next. My computer is at home. It is a new iMac.

we have A CRM application having some customer related scenarios, like create customer, accounts,address etc.
while, when we browse through the Create Customer scenario from lets say, page1 to page2 the browser is getting crashed.

There are some symbol file errors in the analyzed result, please upload the dump file to a public location such as OneDrive, then paste the dowload link here.
Meanwhile, what about other webpages? please test whether this issue happens in other IE 11 or similiar systems, check whether this is a common issue or a specific issue.
Keep latest Windows Updates especially for IE updates.
Test IE in no add-ons mode, if issue disappears, then it could be cauesd by an incompatible add-on
