Uninstalling oracle8 from windows 98

Iam new to Oracle.Somebody suggests me.I had a personal oracle 8 on my windows 98.I had uninstalled the same .When Iam trying to reinstall oracle 8i Iam unable to do it.Iam getting error something like" you cannot have multiple versions .You can upgrade the old db to newer version or uninstall the older version before proceeding".I wonder because I had already uninstalled the older version(oracle 8).When Iam slecting other option i.e upgrading the old db, it is giving me the error it can't do
and exiting.Somebody suggested in the discussion forum to clear the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ORACLE.I don't knoe how to do this.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go to file - run - regedit, open up the hkey_local_machine - software - oracle. Highlight it and delete the entire key and re install your version.

This depends on your EP release.
For Basis release 6.40 (EP6) there should be an UNINSTSAP.EXE somewhere in your SAP-Filesystem which you need to run. Take care with the options you have, you might delete even the OS-Users (even on the domain) if you just click away without reading.
For Basis release 7.00 (EP7) you call sapinst and select 'uninstall' under 'Additional Software Lifecycle tasks'. This will guide you through the process of uninstallation.
If these operations fail you can manually clean the system by removing the files and cleaning the registry. This is only a sort of last resort though.

You can also look in the Windows System Tray for the Bridge CS4 icon and right-click on it. If "Start Bridge at Login" is checked in the menu that shows up, uncheck it to stop Bridge CS4 from starting when you log into Windows, then click on "Exit Bridge."
You can then start Bridge CS5 and launch Camera Raw.

Start --> Programs --> Oracle - Oradb10g_home1 --> oracle installation products --> universal installer.
There will be a option deinstall products something like that and follow the instructions to uninstall oracle.

Uninstalling CS6 from Windows 8.1

Hello, I installed programs from CS6 Web and Design Premium on my laptop to do some work while I was on vacation. I installed Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash, and now I cannot seem to be able uninstall them. They are installed on a Windows 8.1 laptop. I have deactivated them already, but I cannot find an uninstaller in the program files, and the programs are not listed in Programs and Features to uninstall.
Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for replying, Ned Murphy. Unfortunately, this did not work. I tried the tool to remove all, as well as just CS6 programs, and no luck on either try.
Any other suggestions?
EDIT: Upon further inspection, your suggestion did actually work. The shortcuts just weren't removed from my Start page. My apologies, and thanks a ton

Please perform a clean install of modern Skype.
Open Powershell as an Administrator
type Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers
You will see the list of all of the apps on your computer. Look for Microsoft.SkypeApp in this list.
Next, type Remove-AppxPackage FullPackageName
Replace "FullPackageName" (i.e. Microsoft.SkypeApp_1.3.0.112_x86__kzf8qxf38zg5c)
The full command look like this.
Remove-AppxPackage C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.SkypeApp_1.3.0.112_x86__kzf8qxf38zg5c
Note that the name of the folder "Microsoft.SkypeApp_1.3.0.112_x86__kzf8qxf38zg5c" may different in your case. Use Get-AppxPackage command to see the exact path >> Select the path then right click to copy the selection to clipboard >> Use it in the Remove-AppxPackage command.
They are now uninstalled, and you can now reinstall them from the store.
Press WinKey + R to open the Run window
WinKey (the button is located between the left Ctrl and Alt with the Windows logo)
type: ms-windows-store: and press Enter
Right Click on store screen then select Your Apps and install modern Skype.

Uninstalling ICloud from Windows 7

Hi everyone,
My wife once downloaded and installed ICloud on her Windows 7 64 bytes laptop but she never uses it and doesn't neet it. She asked me to uninstall it.
So I went to the Control panel, saw the ICloud program and uninstalled it. All went OK, and I restarted the laptop. I returned to the control panel/Programs and functionality, and ICloud had dispeared. But in the Start/All Programs, the ICloud folder is still there,, with all the included apps (calender, contacts, mail, photos, etc...) and if I click on one, let's say the calender for example, it ask me to login in ICloud..
How can I completely remove ICloud from her computer? I red numerous questionnings on this same subject, but didn't find a satisfying answer from this community, nor from Apple. Can someone help me please?

I can't uninstall it anymore, because ICloud is not listed anymore in the Control panel/Programs. I tried to reboot but had the same situation: ICloud is nomore listed in Control panel/Programs. I think Windows messed up.

Itunes did not uninstall cleanly from windows 7

I uninstalled I tunes from my PC, and the itunes suport programs did not completely uninstall. Now I cannot add Itunes back on the PC.

Seems to have stopped - not sure why but I suspect it was getting stuck trying to find a couple of album covers after I imported my library (though there was no notice of this). Anyway, I walked through the entire library and added any missing covers and it seems to have stopped the behaviour.

Concerns uninstalling 10g from windows XP

Oracle is not listed in the 'Add and Remove' window in my XP. Is this a problem?
I plan to delete the oracle folder (and all the databases within) and delete oracle entries in the registry. Later I plan to reinstall it. Of course this doesn't seem like a 'proper' uninstall since I'm not using the 'Add and Remove' window.
My concern is that with red hat enterprise, usually when we have a problem with oracle installation we have to reinstall the redhat operating system to insure we can reinstall oracle correctly, since the faulty install has left all kinds of modifications and files in a thousand different places. I'm wondering if I'll have this kind of problem since I'm not doing a 'proper' uninstall for oracle in windows?

You can safely delete the folder and registry entries. The process I follow is:
1. Shutdown the Oracle Services.
2. Delete the Folder
3. Delete the Registry Keys.
a. Use Regedt32 instead of regedit
b. After deleting the Oracle Keys, search for Legacy... series for Oracle and delete them also.
This ensures that nothing lies on my system.
BTW, Oracle folders means Oracle folder in Program files also.

Cannot uninstall ITunes from Windows XP pc.

Itunes uninstalled from the control panel, but still shows in the start menu. I keep getting an error from popping up that itunes helper cannot run without itunes. Very annoying.

HP OfficeJet 6500 E709a: cannot scan from Windows 8.1; uninstall crashes at step 8 of 10

When I try to scan from Windows 8.1, launched from the HP Solution Center, it fails before giving me a preview, saying:
Scanning error
4,[(2,22,80040001),(3,22,0)]
When I run the HP Print and Scan Doctor and select "Fix Scan", it fails on the first check, saying it failed to find the driver. The text field that gets uploaded to HP includes the string "hpbxpsrender.dll: Not Found".
I tried uninstalling, using uninstall.bat in the "OJ_AIO_6500_E709_EntScruber_140" (HP OfficeJet Enterprise 14.0), which I downloaded from HP.com. It gets to step 8 of 10 ("removing unnecessary components..."); then it hangs and Windows 8.1 says "HP Installer Uninstaller has stopped working" and kills it.
I have tried running uninstaller in regular mode, in regular mode with my anti-virus / firewall (Kaspersky) paused (disabled), and in Safe Mode with Networking. Same result every time.
I have run the Installer without error. I can view the HP OJ status web page in my browser (http://192.168.1.5) from both computers.
I don't remember if scanning has ever worked on this computer. Scanning works on another computer (Windows XP). Both computers are wired (Ethernet) to the same network switch as the HP OJ.

Welcome back to the HP Support Forums! I see you are not able to scan to your HP Officejet 6500 with your computer running the Windows 8.1 Operating system. You have tried to uninstall the software but get an error message. I see you have done ALOT of troubleshooting already, thank you for that, this allows me to see what has failed for you.
I would like you to continue here and complete the steps listed below:
1. Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
2. Type %programfiles% in the run field and click OK.
3. Delete any HP/Hewlett Packard folders.
4. Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
5. Type %programfiles(x86)% in the run field, and click OK. This is for 64 bit systems only.
6. Delete any HP/Hewlett Packard folders.
7. Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
8. Type %appdata% in the run field, and click OK.
9. Delete any HP/Hewlett Packard folders.
10. Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.

14. Type regedit in the run field.

17. Now run the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows it was created to help Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 users download and install the latest and most appropriate HP software solution for their HP Printer.
18. If you run into any problems after installing using the PIW, now we can re run the HP Print and Scan Doctor- It was designed by HP to provide users with the troubleshooting and problem solving features needed to resolve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan products connected to Windows-based computers.
I will watch for your reply, please make note of anything that you run into as well as what the PSDR finds.

Unable to uninstall ATG 9.4 CRS from windows 7 - 64 bit

Hi,
I am trying to uninstall ATG9.4 CRS from Windows Add/Remove programs. But I am getting the below error in pop-up and unable to uninstall the software.
Win64 not supported
The author of the package you are installing did not include support for this platform.
Also I tried to uninstall from ATG9.4 CRS directory, still getting the same error.
There was a recommended settings option was shown to uninstall on click of the Uninstall from Add/Remove programs. But still getting the same error.
My OS details:
Windows 7 64 bit.
Java version - jdk1.6.0_45
Please help me in uninstalling this software.

you can try below work around, i recommend not to perform this directly on production, try this in dev machine first.
force uninstaller to use 32-bit jre:
1. copy jre to the system
2. run >"Uninstall.exe" LAX_VM <path_to_jre>
