Uninstalling PreInstalled Applications I will not Use
How can I uninstall applications that I am not going to use that the phone came with, such as CityId, Blockbuster, ...
I just spent over an hour with cusotmer support, they are refusing to help, claiming that without these applications my phone would nto work

Wow! You must have a whole heckuva lot of those apps. I don't even notice the ones on mine.
But ultimately it boils down to the following question: "Whose phone am I using"
If the answer is mine then I ask:
"Can I get some kick-backs for hosting unsolicited advertising on MY phone"
I believe LauncherPro will allow you to hide apps. LP is a free app, and no...I'm not getting any kickbacks for suggesting it.
I have channels on my TV that I never watch. Wish I could get a break on my bill.

I need to build an application that will not use any local libraries or LabView program files(even if LabView is installed on the PC). I also am curious if anyone knows if there is a way to debug such an application(in it's compiled state).
Any help on these topics would be greatly appreciated.

I am unclear on what you are trying to accomplish here. As the previous poster mentioned, if you enable debugging when building your application, you can remotely connect and probe the block diagram of the running executable. Executables use the run-time engine but could also access drivers or other run-times if using a specialized toolkit/module. This all depends on your application.

I have a mac mini that i have used succesfully for some time with twin head configuration. Upgraded to Maverick last night and no none of my applications with spread accross both monitors - ie the window snaps to the left or riight monitor and will not use both

ZEN 6.5 SP2 IR1 Application Explorer Will Not Start
Hi,
Recently a few users have complained that their application icons are
not appearing on their desktop.
After a brief investigation, it appears that the Application Explorer is
not starting correctly (I.e. The icon does not appear next to the time)
All the Zen services have started and are running in the services
control panel.
The following services are running in task manager:
NALAGENT
NALNTSRV
NALRSTRT
NALWIN
WM
XTAGENT
ZENREM32
(I may have missed a few)
I've uninstalled and re-installed the ZDM Agent but that doesn't work.
Any idea as to why the Application explorer will not start?
We're running ZDM 6.5 Sp2 IR1 on a Netware 6.0 Sp5 server and client
version 6.5.20.13

These need to be started either from the "Run" Registry Key, the "Startup
Folder", the Login Script, or some other means.

I have a macbook pro 10.8.5 and the Application Safari will not open no matter what i do, I try to open the menu of Safari but it won't let me either, the mouse will just be loading. Each time i open it, it says "Application Not Responding" and I try opening it in my Finder and it'll say "The Application 'Safari' cannot be opened." and below that it'll say "-1712" Please help? I think you can get Windows 7 for around $99. Install the 64bit version as the 32bit version will not be able to use all your new computer's ram if you have more than about 3.5gb.
Back up your quick books data now before the old hard drive dies. You can copy your data over to your new installation of Windows and quick books.

I installed Elements 12 because my version of Photoshop (CS5.1) is not compatible with Yosemite. Now the Adobe Application Manager will not search for updates for any of the programs in CS5.5 that I have. How do I fix this?

I just downloaded Firefox 5 and it said that my Yahoo toolbar will not work with it. Is this true? If so I will not use this new version and will switch to another browser if Firefox stops supporting the Yahoo toolbar. Thank you.
Add-ons contain a range of compatible Firefox versions, and Firefox honors the listed range by disabling the add-on if you are trying to run it on an unlisted version.
I'm sure Yahoo! will update its toolbar eventually, but not every add-on maker supports beta versions of software. -
Backup schedule will not use faster backup method
Hello,
I am currently using Windows Server Backup in Windows Server 2008 R2 to make a copy of our Exchange server. When I initially set the schedule it was configured to use the normal backup method, but after noticing that it was taking an exceedingly long time
I went into the Performance settings and selected the Faster backup option.
The faster method works great if I use the Backup Once option, but for some reason the scheduled backups still try to run the normal, non-incremental backup. I can't find where to change this in the schedule.
**I know that the first time you run the faster backup it needs to make the full backup. It has done this(it takes about 3 days) and every time I have run it since using the Backup Once option it has worked fine(takes about 1 hour). Once again, the issue
is that the schedule will not use the faster option and tries to use the normal backup every time.
Thank youI am backing up to a network location. When I use the Backup Once option and assign it to use a network location it is able to do the Faster backup. It doesn't make sense that the faster backup works when I do it manually but doesn't work when if it is
initiated by the schedule. They are both going over the network. -

My application manager will not open
I can log into my creative cloud account, but cannot download After effects. Also my application manager will not open on my desktop.
Ricardo Oyarzabal do you receive any specific error messages when you try to open the Creative Cloud Desktop application? In addition if you are unable to open the Creative Cloud Desktop application how are you initiating the download and installation process for After Effects? T520 will not use any DVD Device
Folks,
I was going to do a backup, when I noticed the DVD player was no longer showing under My Computer.
I when into the device manager, where it showed with a yellow X .. I tried updating the device driver, it said I already had the correct device. I did several other things - nothing worked.
I really wanted to get the backup done, so I took my portable DVD player/writer and connected it. The laptop found a device loaded OK ... but it did not show up under My Computer. I was the same issue as the internal DVD player.
Then I took a USB external Passport drive, connected to the same USB port, no issues .. It mounted the drive and I performed the backup.
My T520 will not use any DVD device ... any Ideas ?

True, somehow this area goes south now and then. Last time I used it was on an old XT system of someone. He had some techs try to fix his machine and couldn't. I had it working in half an hour altering the keys. LOL
You know there are exceptionally few KUDOS given on this forum for some reason and given the number of posts some people give or respond to. The great majority of posters just don't know or read it exists. Anyway good to see you up and running again.
