Uninstalling the JHS Evaluation version 11.1.1.3.33

Dear JHS Team,
I had installed Jdeveloper 11g with JHS11.1.1.2.37 and it was working fine. As a step to evaluate the newer jheadstart, i downloaded the evaluation version and installed with Jdeveloper 1.1.1.3 which had a limitation of 10 view objects(for evaluation). Now I want to go back to my old Jheadstart . I tried uninstalling the whole jdeveloper and install the again with the JHS11.1.1.2.37. When I try it , it is still showing that I can use only 10 view objects even though the Jheadstart that I use is a licensed one for unlimited view objects.
Kindly let me know how i can overcome this issue of cleaning the evaluation version completely from my computer. Thanks in advance.

I you re-install JDeveloper, then the Jheadstart installation is gone for sure.
There are only references to Jheadstart inside the JDeveloper directory tree.
To "uninstall" Jheadstart you can also delete all the jheadstart jar files in <jdev_home>\jdev\extensions, and the complete jdev\extensions\oracle.jheadstart.11.1.1 directory
Steven Davelaar,
Jheadstart team.

  • I had firefox 3.6 and since I updated to 4.0 my computer is running much slower. I called my ISP and they cannot uninstall the 4.0 version. I play alot of POGO and it runs sooo slowly. I am using windows XP. Can you help me get the 3.6. version back?

I would like to get the 3.6 version and uninstall the 4.0 version computer running slow

Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
    Close Firefox 4.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

I am trying to download the latest version of iTunes to my PC (windows XP) and I keep getting an error message or two. One is that it can't uninstall the previous itunes version, the other is that it can't find itunes.msi. I have tried removing  the old version in add/remove programs, but it says the same error. I tried deleting every thing that has itunes in the file/folder/etc and it didn't help.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

I downloaded premier- but now I cant find it in my apps- I uninstalled the old trial version, where is the new version I just downloaded?

Doing a factory reset will delete your Firefox install. Even if you move the app to the sdcard.

  • Acquire the non-evaluation version of SAP Memory Analyzer

    Hi.
I'd like to know how to acquire a validly licensed copy of the non-evaluation version of SAP Memory Analyzer.
My co-workers have been using it and seems to be useful.
    Thanks,
    Mariano.

    Hi Mariano,
right now you cannot acquire the SAP Memory Analyzer separately. It is bundled with NetWeaver CE 7.10. Sorry, I can only tell you that you can use the evaluation license.
There is hope, however. In Q1 or Q2 SAP will open source the whole tool to the Eclipse community. Read the proposal on the Eclipse site: [http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/memory-analyzer/]. As you can see, we try to make it happen within the next 90 days... I can't promise anything, but we will work hard to do it.
Until then we have only the license available which comes with the current SDN download.
    Kind regards,
       - Andreas.

  • How do I uninstall the 9.0 version we hate it! I want 7.0 back how do I get it back again.

Although we haven't had many problems with the new update we HATE it how can we uninstall the 9.0 version and go back to the 7.0

There is no "official" supported way to do so. If you FULLY understand the INCREDIBLE RISK this poses:
Uninstall Firefox 9 and DO NOT check the remove personals settings
    Download 7.0.1 -> ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/7.0.1/win32/en-US/
    Install 7.0.1
You are MUCH better off explaining what it is you don't like...

  • How do I uninstall the Safari Beta version?

I'm using Firefox to post this since the beta version of Safari went belly up a couple of days ago. It's not loading many of my usual daily websites that I need access to.
When I tried to log in HERE I got this:
    http://solisstyle.com/ims/pic.php?u=4562lQs3D&i=74179
I searched the Apple website for Safari Beta 3 (& all versions of that phrase) and came up with nada so I was hoping that someone here would have some info.
I want to get rid of the beta version and go back to the previous stable version.
    Thanks in advance!
PS - What I'm looking for is the Safari beta file to download. I made the mistake of deleting the beta package that contained the uninstaller since it WAS working so well.
    Live & learn.

The uninstaller with beta 3.0 will not uninstall the program because I don't have a restorable version of Safari. ????? is this a weird catch 22? Of course I don't have it, it un-installed 2.1 when it installed the beta. Now Adobe won't install because of safari and safari won't uninstall because of safari and I cannot find a copy of safari 2 (only updates that need safari2) I'm going in and killing anything to do with safari.. this doesn't make me happy. I'm officially waiting on OSX 10.5 for a while.

  • How to uninstall only 32-bit CS5 without also uninstalling the 64-bit version?

I have installed both the 32-bit and 64-bit version of CS5 in my Win7 system. Did that because some plugins does not run on 64-bit.
Now I wanted to trial CS6 and so do not wish to have too many versions on my pc.
I want to uninstall ONLY the 32-bit CS5. When I go to either my Uninstaller software or the "Program & Features" of Control Panel, I could only see one icon/program for PS- not 2 (one for 32-bit & 64-bit respectively).
How do I uninstall only the 32-bit without affecting the 64-bit version?
    Thanks.

Probably have to uninstall entire CS5 and then only install 64 bit version.  What will you do with plugins?
Perhaps a better solution is to just install CS6 64 bit.
Some users have problems when they uninstall a previous version.  So best to leave CS5 on if you decide to keep CS6.

  • Can't uninstall the tryout (trial) version of Adobe Audition 3

I have downloaded the trial version of Audition 3 from the official website. Then after a month I would like to uninstall it (to install the commercial version) but the uninstallation programme hangs when I click continue. The uninstallation programme is found in Control Panel (as there's no shortcut nor programme for uninstallation in the C-drive Adobe directory) and my current OS is Vista Home Premium. Could anyone help? Many thanks!

I can't help directly - I don't use Vista because it sucks, but in principle you are doing the correct thing. What I can tell you though, is that if you are effectively having an installation (well, a re-installation) problem, then you are entitled to free telephone support from Adobe - they cover that.

Do you mean multiple Java Console extensions in Tools > Add-ons > Extensions ?
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension, you do not need them to run Java applets.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#Multiple_Java_Console_extensions
See also http://www.java.com/en/download/help/quickstarter.xml - What is Java Quick Starter (JQS)? What is the benefit of running JQS? - 6.0
Disable the Java Quick Starter extension: Tools -> Addons -> Extensions<br />
Control Panel -> Java -> Advanced tab -> Miscellaneous -> Java Quick Starter (disable)

  • Problem with the weblogic evaluation version

I am using WL6.0 evaluation copy, My problem is, in my session bean, when I am setting using the setLong() method of Callable statement, just it is throwing null pointer exception. I am sure that the value passed to the setLong is correct, but not Null. What could be the problem. Thanks in Advance

First check out that if you were actually able to get
              an instance of callable statement.
just compare it with null and see before you call the setLong() method
              on that
              hope this helps

  • Unable to uninstall the CC versions on my PC

I installed the latest CC (2014) versions of Adobe apps both on my Mac and my PC. To my surprise, I found that the CC versions are still in my C drive, taking up lots of valuable disk space.
Worse, I cannot uninstall them! The CC versions do not show up in the "Control Panel > Uninstall a program" lists.
Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bits on my PC.
This issue did not occur on Mac OS.
    Panos

    Dear Rajshree,
This information has already been provided in my post.
It is not possible to uninstall the CC items simply because they don't show up in the "Uninstall a program" lists.
Let me give you an example about Photoshop. The same applies to all CC apps.
I have now installed in my system:
Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 (1.27 Gigabytes)
But there are also the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Ps CC:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (974 Megabytes)
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit) (1.01 Gigabytes)
Again: It is impossible to uninstall the above two versions.
You need to provide an uninstaller for all CC apps!
