Unintall all activated content objects

Dear experts,
My client wants from me deletion of activated business content objects which have been activated by mistake.
There are huge amount of unnecessary infoobjects, updaterules, datasources ...
So i need to delete all 0* objects. Is there a way to do it with massly since dependent objects prevent me to do it via rsd1 or using RSDG_IOBJ_DELETE program.
Thanks
Alkan

Hi All,
The thing is, there are many dependent objects so im not able to delete them massly from RSD1. (for instance i'm not able to delete 0material as it is an attribute of 0APO_PROD and 0APO_PROD is an attribute of other objects...)
Yes i want to delete all 0* objects since i have used custom objects in my data model.
I have found out RSDG_IOBJ_DELETE_VERSION FM which deletes A and M versions without checking dependent objects. But im not sure if there can occur an inconsistency after deletion of all 0* objects with that FM.
Any idea?
Thanks for responses.

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer will disable all Active X objects

I wonder if Macromedia have an offical response to this?
Basically, all future versions of Internet Explorer will disable
    the active x flash player!!!

    > Jeckyl...Simple solution or not, your "so what-big deal"
    response to this
    > is
    > cavalier.
I never made a 'what-big deal' response. Read my reply again.
I explained that it requires work from you as a web developer
    to ensure your
site works seamlessly with Internet Explorer (as it now is).
    My response
was, rather, a 'whether you like it or not' response .. and
    that's simply
    how it is.
    > I stand by my comment about a border around my Flash
    objects.
You mean your flippant remark about adding them yourself if
    you wanted it?
That simply shows your complete ignorance of the issue. The
    change was not
so you would have an automatic border around activex objects
    .. that's not
the point of it, its just a side-effect of the change
    required to prevent IE
    infringing the stupid EOLAS patent.
    > You dismiss it as if it's nothing.
No .. YOU were dismissing it as nothing (or almsot monthing)
    .. as just a
border around your control. Its a much bigger issue than such
    a
    trivialising remark suggests.
    > It is not a silly comment...it's reality.
Indeed .. and you under-stated the nature of the reality of
    the effects of
the change. Obviosuly you don't see it as big a deal as it
    really is.
    > I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I am busy and I don't
    want to waste time
    > FIXING
    > a problem created by someone else. Obviously I have no
    choice.
Exactly .. NOONE wants to have been placed in this situation.
    NOONE is
happy about it (least of all Microsoft).
So now you have to do some work to remove the border you
    don't want. Tough
.. complaining about how you don't like it isn't at all
    helpful.
    > Apparently some people have lots of play-time on their
    hands.
No .. we are all in the same boat .. we just don't make
    flippant remarks
    about it.
And .. despite your attitude, I will give you the link to a
    page that lists
the simple solutions as well as links to the more complex
    'official'
    solutions.

  • Displaying all enhanced Business Content Objects?

    Hey all.
Is there a way to display all Business Content objects that have been enhanced/modified without checking each one individually?
Specifically, I am wanting to know which standard InfoObjects in our system have been enhanced, but I don't want to have to manually check each object to determine if it has been enhanced or not.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Error while activating the business content object

    Hi guru,
We have installed a new BI system, and hence we need to activate all the business content object as they are available in delivery version.
So as there was an requirement i tryed to activate the business content object ,that is 0mat (MATNR) material number,
but once done with the installation when i try to find the object and display it
that is i select the object 0mat , context menu and say display or change it does not show the complete screen as it appears for a characterstic and gives a error
"_settings for material number conversion not found"_*
so please help me out what is the problem
    Thanks

    Thanks Subash Balakrishnan for replying,
but let me inform you that i already did that as i need to install this object and now the object is showing with green instead of grey,
Now my problem is that after selecting grouping and collection when i go to infoobject menu under modelling and find out the object 0mat, it shows in green , but as i need to observe the properties of this object like data type , length etc , i select the object 0mat and right click and select display,
then instead of showing me the object properties screen it gives me the error as mentioned above,
so as you say it has to be in active versoin , but i can not view the normal screen which appears after creating any object ,
now i hope my problem is quiet explanatory so please help me.
    Thanks

  • Steps in BI Content Objects Install & Activation

    Hi
We are planning to activate new Business Content Objects (Info objects, Cubes, DSO, Datasources...etc) in our BI 7.0 System
Our BI System already got objects that are customized and in use.
What are the pre activation steps I need to perform to see the impacted objects before activation?
Ex:Lets say 0PROFIT_CETER is an Object that is available in the new BI Content activation objects
But 0PROFIT_CETER is already activated  and customized (z attributes) in our systems so if I activate & install it again its going to overwrite everything
So how can we avoid these kind of things
    Thanks

    Hi Maxicosi,
As you are planning to activate new business content objects in BI system,
    1) the first step would be to identify all the objects those are customized and those probably have chances to get overwritten during the business content installation
    2) Installing business content is a very careful task if already an active version of objects are available in the system especially those which are customized, plus identify the objects that are required by the business only those can be installed if needed
    3) Tcode: RSORBCT , Under grouping you might have to select "Only Necessary Objects" if you know all the objects that you would want to install, else you have to take it step by step, first select " In Data Flow Before" and select the "Info Area" that you would wan to install
    4) Keep the Collection mode "Collect Automatically"
    5) Make sure the source system assignment is been maintained
    6) Once all the objects are populated you might have to drill down to each and every last level to make sure what you are about to install
    7) you would find some existing objects which would show a green signal that they have already been installed so you would have to also select "Match (X) or Copy"
    8) After finishing the selection its recommended to simulate the installation you would find the option under "Install"
    9) Simulation would provide all the detail log of what objects are existing and about to be changed and predict any errors so that you can make sure you do the necessary changes
    10) Then once you are sure that every thing is been verified you can install  the Business Content in Background and monitor the job.
Hope this information would be helpful.

  • WLE 5.1: show all active objects

Does anyone know an API, which I can use to
get infos of all active WLE CORBA objects.
Of course, "print active objects" (pao) of tmadmin
does this job. However, the object infos are shortened,
e.g. only a small part of the OID is printed.

    Hi
The only thing I know that you can do, is to turn on verbose mode (v
will toggle verbose mode on/off) in tmadmin. Then the info is no longer
    shortened.

  • "Convert Active Content" problem

Recently, I opened an html page in DW8, and a dialogue box
appeared called "Convert Active Content". It said "This page
contains <object> tags that may not work properly in the most
recent versions of Internet Explorer. To correct this problem, you
can convert these tags to browser-safe scripts. Do you want
Dreamweaver to convert these tags for you?" So, being the trusting
soul that I am, I clicked "yes." But when I uploaded my page, I
could not see the Flash videos that I had put in this page. The
same thing happened with another page. So I created new pages, and
clicked on "no" when the "Convert Active Content" dialogue box
appeared, and my Flash videos appear again.
I really would like to avoid the annoying double-clicking
that has to happen with the new IE browser whenever I include Flash
content, but this work-around does not work. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

You were right to say you wanted DW to "convert these tags to
    browser-safe
scripts." What you didn't do was upload the SCRIPTS directory
    that DW
created. Try doing that and all should be well.

  • Business Content Objects on BI side for the business content data sources

    Hi All,
We are doing a fresh implementation, and would like to know the step by step way through which i can know the relevant business content objects on BW side for a BC data sources ,,,,,
    0material_attr
    and 0mat_sales_Attrt
As Per my understanding, once installed the BC data sources, the data would be feed to the master data info object 0material
But the question is how do i know the complete Business content object on BW / BI side, and use the same building the entire flow.
I have a hint that we can know it through the help.sap.com, and it would be highly appreciated and awarded for your expertises guidence, i have tried sercing in it, but dont know the correct trick.
Even for the other  business content data sources.
Example, the relevant infoobject or the DSO or the Cube, transformation, dtp,etc..
    Thanks
    Daljeet sing Nagi

    Hi Vineeth,
Do you mean this way in the meta data repository, it will propose the flow for the business content object, and if yes, then even if they are in delivery version and not in active version, still it shall propose the flow for the business content objects,
And to cut short my requirement,  as specified we are doing the fresh implementation,
and i have identified that we would require first to load the material master data, and based on our present requirement, the data source which i have identified are
0material_attr   (for the table mara in ECC system)
0mat_sales_attr (for the table mvke in ECC system)
all the fields data would be loaded to which master data info object,
will it be 0material or ????
Thanks for your support and surly as promised

  • How to remove Business content objects that are not required?

You can right click on the objects (unused) and delete.
actually when you activate business content its version is changes from "D" Delivered to "A" Active but these objects will always be available as D version to you. Even if you delete the activated objects now & need those in future you can reactivate them.
    hope it helps
    Regards
    Vikash
