Unique codes for different mac devices?

Dear All,
I have recently had my hotmail hacked and I have a list of IP addresses for my activity but I was wondering whether it was possible to differentiate devices that have logged into my account via the IP address as I believe that the person was using my wifi (I know they have a mac).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here are the address from the router report.
Notice .120 for two different MAC addresses.
To fix this, all you need to do is to reserve each of the MAC addresses. Reserve the first adderss and before selecting SAVE, edit the IP address .120 to something thats not being used. Edit the host name so you know what is what, DIRECTTVwireless. Save settings.
Reserver the next address again for the other connection. You can keep the .120 address or change it here if you like to something else thats not being used. Again edit the host name for this connection, DIRECTTVwired. Save setting.
It is odd that the router is using same IP addresses for different MACs.

I have 7 different mac devices in my shop and every day i recieve a lot of other mac devices from customers to install apps and windows on them. I want to how can i download bootcams for different devices so i shouldnt have to download it for every device every single time.
Pls give links to download boot camp for different devices seperatly.

There are different Boot Camp versions for each Mac, and you can see all of them in this site > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634
Note that new Macs like the Mid 2013 MacBook Air use a special Boot Camp support version that can only be downloaded through Boot Camp Assistant in one of these MacBooks

Different Text Size for different mobile devices and Tabbed View Application

Hi,
I am developing an sample mobile application to target all mobile devices (IPhone/IPad/IPod and Android).
I am facing an Issue that i am using default text size for the TextInput, TextArea and label but text size look so small for some devices, i discuss this with some(unkown) person(he is an IPhone developer).
He told me that in Iphone development for different devices they use different text size.
So how would I do the same at our Flex Mobile application ?
Please provide me help regarding this
There is one more problem in the application. I have tabbed view application, and i assign the firstview of the tab after 10 or more seconds of interval so that data will load in the application properly.
But issue is that my first tab is not show anything at first go. When we switch the tab then it loads the screen and application work fine.
Please provide me any help so that i can see the first Tab Screen.

Hi there. For your font issue you need to set up a variable call it var fontSize or something. Then have an if statement that reads something like if (stage.stageWidth <= 320) fontSize=8 else if (stage.stageWidth > 320 || stage.stageWidth <= 640) fontSize = 12.
Then instead of giving your font a size give it the size of fontSize variable and it will check for stage width or whatever you base it on and apply that size to your text field.
I had done this for an app I did for Kellogg Garden Products but if you notice when you go from portrait to landscape mode the font size increases using this technique.

HI,
the tax codes are maintained for a country in T-code FTXP and stored in table T007A. Each country is assigned to a tax scheme (table T005). Each comp. code is assigned to a country (table T001), so the tax scheme from table T005 is indirect assigned to a comp. code.

Muse, is there code for different devices in web page?

When designing in muse, can you build desktop, tablet and phone all together with one website? Make where people who have phones goes to the phone site and people with tablets go to the tablet site. Desktop users go to desktop. If this is possible is there any code I need to put in my web pages for visitors to go that have different devices? If so please tell me where I can find it. Thanks!

Yes, you can build desktop, tablet and phone layouts for a website all in one Muse project and host the website to Adobe hosting through Business Catalyst or to a third party webhosting provider. The site logic detects the browser and device used by the visitor and automatically redirects to load the appropriate tablet, phone, or desktop layout. How to conditionally include code for different versions.

I'm trying to figure out how to create a lite and full version of an iPhone app by using multiple targets and conditionally including/excluding code based on the target. From searching the forum and the web I realize I need to use preprocessor macros but it is not clear how. Do I need to define a macro or is there one for the target already defined? (I'd appreciate a straight answer and example if possible rather than a "look in the documentation" response...I've already done that and haven't found what I need.)

You can customize your build settings so far that you have automatically different macro definitions when you choose the Target/Architecture/SDK from the dropdown menu.
It took me a while to find out how it works, but now it works like a charm.
To give you a tip:
-In XCode create as many targets as you like (For example 1 free version, one paid)
-See the infos of free version and go to build settings.
-Make sure you are in "all configuration" mode
-enter "preproc" in the searchbox, this makes it easy to find the setting "Preprocessor macros"
-Enter your macro for the selected target

Is it possible to have unique pictures for different iChat accounts?

Hello -
I am new to Macs and am setting up multiple iChat accounts (Google chat, facebook, work, etc.). However, the work picture seems to be overwriting my picture in Google. Ideally I could have my casual Google picture and my more formal work picture coexist under a single iChat group of accounts.
I haven't found a way to do this yet. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Although this was possible in earlier version of iChat it is not possible in Messages.
In earlier Versions you could set up separate Buddy lists (the then default)
At each Buddy List pic you could call down the change drop down and select a Pic.
It could be done for each Buddy list.
In Messages when you do this the Pic changes in all Buddy Lists.
NOTES
Changing the pic this way overrides the normal Choice which is the Contacts (Formerly Address Book) pic.
Changing the Address Book > My Card pic will override the Mac Users Account pic which is the default for that.
Put another way when you create a Mac user Account you get to chose a pic that is shown in the Login list (Also System Preferences > Users and Groups > your account).
This gets pulled to the Contacts/Address Book as the My card is created with your other details.
That is turn is used by Messages (or iChat in Earlier versions)
You can change them so that your have three different Pictures.

How do I set the region code for my Mac?

I have been using my powerbook since 2004. I must have changed the region code once before for the DVD player. But since then any and all DVD's have played - unless the DVD itself had a problem. A few days back i put in a DVD which needed region change. Without thinking I changed it and now I have DVD's that used to play before, not play anymore. Please let me know how I can put the region code back to what it was - where all DVD's played.
I don't think I have changed the region code five times - but can one really nor change the code once it has changed the fifth time???????? Please advice.

I got a prompt when I had inserted the DVD which needed region change. But not now when I put in any other DVD. Some work, some don't. Is it not true that when changing the fourth time, the machine gives some indication that the next time will be the last? I thought so, whcih is why I am wondering, why it is not prompting or warning me.

Vendor Data for different company codes/purchase organization

Hi,
In Fax massages of POs the fax number is taken automatically from the filed ADRC-FAX_NUMBER.
We have 2 different companies and each has their own contact number and fax for the same vendor.
How can I differentiate the numbers to each company code or purchase organization?
Where can I maintain different fax and telephone numbers for a single vendor, that can be used in the printing of POs?

If your intention is to use the same vendor code for different company codes, create a new OA partner with the 2nd fax number. You can default the OA partner in the contract.

In J2ME there is no method to get the model number from the device. how ever you can use the APIs provided by the device manufacturer if available. But still the APIs will not work with devices from other manufacturer or sometimes it will not work with the devices of the same manufacturer if the API is not supported. so it is better to send the device model name through the header.

Same error code for two different errors

I have a simple state machine with a few states, two of which are read ini file and read GPIB data. I also have an error handling state where I would like to handle all errors. Errors are checked for on each iteration of the loop, passed by shift register. However, I can't just unbundle the error cluster and wire the error code to a case structure because if the ini file doesn't exist (error code 7) I want to exit the program. But if I get error 7 from the gpib (Nonexistent GPIB interface) I want the program to continue running. What is the best way to track where the error is coming from so I know how to handle it when two error codes for different errors have the same error code value?

Another option is to check the existence of the file before opening the config file, then exit the program if nessecary. Relying on error codes might be a bad option.

I have a brand new Macbook Pro 15" 2.2 GHz, and was purchased within the up-to-date OSX Lion free upgrade period.
I use my mac primarily for basic things: Web, music, socialising. If some more advanced programs wont work on Lion yet i'm not really concerned. I do most of my serious business on my beast mode PC

MacBook Pro to my iMac with the firewire it makes me enter the Key product code for Office:Mac2011

When I connect my MacBook Pro to my iMac with the firewire to use as a monitor it makes me enter the Key producy code for Office:Mac 2011 every time.
Then when I disconnect my MacBook I have to enter the product key again to use office on it???
Any ideas??
