Unistall trial version of DW CS3 from Mac?

What's the procedure for uninstalling the trial versions of
Adobe
Software. They have not put any Add or Remove icons in the
Applications>Utilities>Adobe Utilities>Adobe
Installers folder?
Can I take it it's safe for me just to drag the folder
related to the
software, which installed on the hard drive, to the trash?
Thanks
Os

I think you need to use the install program, it will offer an
uninstall
option. You might want to use the cleaner tool as well, but
not!

  • Problem Downloading Trial Version of Lightroom 4 from Adobe Site

    Problem dow
I am having problem downolading a trial version of Lightroom 4 from the Adobe site. It appears that I can download trial versions of any other digital photography-related product but not of Lightroom 4. About 2 weeks ago I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Elements and I have been getting familiar with it. I have to make a decision on the best product for my needs.
I went to Vistek shop in Ottawa yesterday and one of the specialist told me that maybe Lightroom would better meet my needs. Prior to purchasing, I am trying to test both product to understand the fundamental differences. For some reason, when I go to the download site ( https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_lightroom) and click on the download button, nothing happens. Given that I am a System's Engineer by trade, I thought that perhaps I cannot install 2 trial copies of adobe products on a single workstation so I tried downloading Lightroom 4 from 3 different PC/laptops but got the same results...
Can anybody help. This is a bit frustrating given that the Adobe element trial is coming to an end (about 2 weeks) and I want to proceed with purchasing the RIGHT PRODUCT...

The link, just above, is the latest update to LR 4.2 which may work fine.
About the original trial download page you had issues with, it does take a few seconds for the download button to become active, and once you click it, it takes a few more seconds for either a login pop to come up or the download, itself, to start, so maybe you have a popup blocker enabled or some security that doesn’t allow the download to occur.  You might try a different browser.  The following link is what the download attempts to use, but you need to have signed in to your Adobe account before trying to use it, I think:

My trial version of photoshop cs5 extended has expired.  I would like to unistall it.  When I go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, both photoshop and bridge do not appear in the window.  How do I unistall these programs?

I did go to programs and features, it is not appearing in add/remove
programs.  I do have registry booster and it runs about once a month.

  • Exporting to encore dvd with trial version of PPro CS3

    My question:
Are we supposed to be able to use Encore DVD with the trial version of PPro CS3?
If so, then what are the proper steps?
    Background:
i have downloaded a trial version of PPro CS3. I have wanted to check out the Encore DVD maker that now is included with the PPro. However, when i attempt to export a timeline to Encore, the 'export to encore' is not active. In other words, i see the words 'export to encore' but they are faded and thus the link to it is 'dead'.

Trial does not with any flavor of MPEG due to license restrictions
You may import-edit-export DV AVI type 2

  • Download page for trial version of Photoshop and Lightroom Mac OS 10.6.8

Where can I find the download page for trial versions of Lightroom and Photoshop for Mac OS 10.6.8?
It's so hard that Adobe has no contact form, no way I can see to contact them. The help is not helpful to me, it's more like an FAQ. So I'd also be interested in knowing how their customer support is from anyone who has had to use it. They don't have any obvious way to contact them for pre-sales support. When I see that I get suspicious that you will get no help once you hand your money over.

    Hi Wave.watcher.
    Welcome to Adobe Forums.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
Since you are using Mac 10.6.8 you cannot use the CC version of Photoshop
so CS6 version of Photoshop would be apt for you.
    Please use the below link

  • Can't seem to activate trial version of Photoshop Elements 6 (Mac)

I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop Elements 6 for my Mac earlier this morning to check it out and purchased a license online not too soon after. The serial that was sent to me from Adobe's shop does not seem to work in activating the trial version I have installed. I've been on hold for tech support for almost an hour now. Does anyone know how to get Photoshop Elements for the Mac up and running using a serial purchased from Adobe's shop?

Thanks for the response. I was hoping it wouldn't come down to that, but I decided to redownload the program (using the new link they provided) while on hold for tech support (which never answered in the hour I was waiting ) and reinstalled using that instead. I found out the 'proper' way of removing PSE from a response you gave in a previous thread and proceeded with the uninstall program. The newly downloaded file installed and updated without a hitch. Thanks again for your help!
I love how Bridge can be used to import my images from my camera to where I want them to go as well as organize my photo collection. Not only does it display a preview of my selected image, but it also displays various other information associated with my photos as well. There's practically no need for me to keep iPhoto in my Dock anymore!

  • Uninstalled Premier Elements 10, want to reinstall. Can I just download trial version and enter SR from uninstalled version?

Elements Premier became corrupted and freezing computer. As I understood the directions, I uninstalled, including options on uninstall wizard. I now want to download and reinstall using my paid for and registered Serial Numbers. Is this correct. If not, please advise proper reinstall.

    Fr. Six
    Yes with following explanation.
Adobe offers only the trial version of Premiere Elements (current version = Premiere Elements 12/12.1).
But, you can download the appropriate trial of Premiere Elements 10 from the following web site
    http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-10-direct-download-links-pse-premiere-pre.htm l
and insert your version 10 purchased serial number in the appropriate installation files.
Be sure to read and carry out the Note: Very Important Instructions at that web site so that you do not run
    into an Access Denied message.
Keep in mind that if you purchased the serial number online from Adobe, it will be specific to a Windows OR Mac computer.
A version 10 serial number purchased for a download to a Windows computer is not going to work for Premiere Elements 10 on a Mac
    computer.
Please let us know if you are OK with the above information.
    Thanks.

  • CS4 Trial Version: How to Uninstall from PC?

    Hi!
I downloaded the CS4 Trial Version. Now I would like to uninstall it from my PC. I still have 23 remaining days, but would like to clear space on my hard drive asap. What will happen when the Trial expires? Will it self-delete, or what??
Would you please tell me how this can best be done? I don't want any files from this download remaining on my hard drive.
    TIA,
    Clyde Semler

Here's the thing.  The uninstallers were part of the package that Adobe made you down and decompress (along with the installer package).  From the sounds of it you do not have it.
The following is the CS4 Clean Script:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html
This is usually only recommend in cases where where betas and pre-release software were removed from a system and you run into problems installing the legit software.  As a result, this will disable all CS4 software, serial numbers and Adobe Acrobat/Reader installations.  It's a commonly used script but it will wipe the system files/registry and all program/user library folders and takes longer to run than the typically uninstaller.
That's your only other option if there is no add/remove programs for whatever reason and you did not hold onto the separate uninstaller packages.

  • Re: I am unable to download the trial version of Photoshop on my Mac

I need help too! I am suffering from the same issue when trying to reinstall Air...which I was doing to troubleshoot why I can't reinstall MUSE...
This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which cannot be found.  Please download the latest version fot he runtime from http://www.adobe.com/go/getair, or contact the application author for and updated version.
Which I did and each time I get the same message.. I need help with my MUSE crash as well. Crash report said windows failed to open and as a last resort after repeated attempts to close and reopen the program, I decided to uninstall Muse and redownload it, unfortunatley I can't get Muse without Air installed and working properly
    Any suggestions pleae help, thanks...
I am running OS Lion on a MacBook Pro and never ran Muse across multiple desktops...

Branched off the thread as this appears to be more of Adobe AIR/Muse install issue.  Ericavshadetreeartusa I would recommend reviewing Troubleshoot AIR installation | Mac OS.  Beyond that I would also recommend posting your inquiries regarding Muse to the MUSE community forum.

  • Opening Lightroom 4 Trial Version after downloading to a MAC

I have downloaded the free trial version of Lightroom 4 to a MacBook Pro, however when I try to open it after installation it just asks me if I want to re-install it? Has anyone else had this problem and if so do you have a solution? Thanks.

What Mac? What is the exact error message? If it's the notorious "critical components missing" it may mean that your Mac doesn't mean the requirements or something went wrong during install indeed...

  • How can I get a trial version of Acrobat X on Mac?

I have downloaded an Akamai Dowload Manager but it downloads the version for Windows. Is there a version for Mac? thx

    Dave:
I use Acrobat because it necessary, and I didn't say I didn't like the Product. In fact for all intents and purposes it’s the only game in town to do all it does. Sure there are other PDF creating Programs out there for Mac. And I in fact own one but it does not hold a candle to Acrobat.  But The fact is That Mac users always get the short end of the stick.  What Mac Users want is to be treated equally. For example we are always having to answer questions in The Mac Acrobat Forum from people that need LiveCycle designer to finish a project. And yet we have to tell them they have to Buy a PC Or at least on Intel Macs Buy a product such as Parallels a copy of Windows and the buy LiveCycle Designer. Or have buddy let them borrow their PC.
Mac PDF can not create and work on XML Based PDF's.   We have problems with Office documents  converted to PDF's deviding along section and Page Breaks something that been proved is a defect in Acrobat. The list goes on and on.
Take it as you want to. I still use Acrobat and love it. But it frustrating to Mac Users That things PC Users can use Day to Day we can't do. and therefore we end up as second class citizens. To be laughed at because things that PC Users can do and take for Granted, we can't.
    Dave Merchant wrote:
I can see you have a strong opinion against Adobe, which is strange given the time you send on their forums, and some of your analogies are far from appropriate in a public arena.
As I said above, the reasons for the decision to issue only a Windows trial of Acrobat are most certainly not intended to annoy or undervalue Mac users.

  • Uninstalling Trial Version of Elements 9 for Mac

Hi. I know that Elements 9 for Mac just came out yesterday, but I decided to download the trial. I have a paid version of Elements 8 and I'm probably not going to upgrade soon but I wanted to check out Elements 9's new spot healing brush. Anyway, the download of the trial is over 1GB and I think the extracted files, after downloading, are even more. I'm probably going to want to get rid of Elements 9 from my hard drive after I play around with it but I'm not sure how to get rid of all of its files. Is there someone from Adobe who reads these forums who can give me instructions on which files to delete? Or should I be asking this question directly to customer support instead of posting here in the forums? Thanks

I'm not from adobe, but there's an uninstaller in the PSE 9 folder in applications that should take care of the big stuff. If you like to be thorough, you can go check in Library>application support (note that this is the library at the top level of your hard drive, not System>library or your username>library) for some additional small files.

  • In Need of Serious Help. Looking for Trial Versions of Dreamweaver CS3

    Hello there,
What I thought was going to be super easy is turning into a
HUGE problem. I'm currently taking a Web Design course and we are
using Dreamweaver CS3. I have two assignments due on Wednesday. To
make a long story short, I'm desepartely looking for a 30 day trial
os Dreamweaver CS3 but I can't find one. Apparently Dreamweaver CS4
is coming out soon. Any ideas? I'm in a pickle.
    Thank you!
    Aly

And then spend a week using malware removers to remove
    everything that you
unwittingly installed when you installed the 'dodgy copy'? No
    thanks. And
what about the zombies that malware removers don't find? NO
    THANKS.
Go to the bookstore, and find a DW CS3 book that contains a
    demo on the CD
included. At least then you won't be loading your computer
    with bad actors.
