Unit of measure not defined for language ZH

Hi,
We were creating a PO when we encountered the error which states "Unit of measure not defined for language ZH".
We executed CUNI to translate the units of measurement to our target language. System prompted "This object was segmented. Only new lines evaluated." What does this mean?
We tried creating the PO again, however we encountered the same error that the unit of measure was not defined for the language.
Please recommend action/s that we should take. Thank you.

Then I execute CUNI
Then menu is GOTO > Translation > units of measure
enter source language and target language . After this i am getting the below message
---> Language not available on server

HI Pabi,
Go to material master for material in purchase requisition, the Go to Additional data and maintained language as ZH in material master data.
Also the other possibility, that if in your case purchase requisition are converted to purchase orders through background jobs,
then check the background job execution in SM37 whether that background job has been triggered twice parellely in the background, which could have resulted in locking of same purchase requisition at same time and hence your are getting the Error.

I am facing a problem with PO replication to R/3 backend.
POs are not replicated to R/3, POs are in status 'Transfer Failed (E.Sys.)' .
When I check with 'RZ20' transaction I got this message :
PurchOrder : Unit of measure PC not defined for language ES.

Error as unit of measure PC not defined for language RO while creation ofPO

Hi GUYS,
When am trying to create a PO in ME21N transaction i got error as below,
unit of measure PC not defined for language RU
Message no. 06079
Table 006A contains no entry for this unit of measure
Please let me know what action to be taken from my side to over come this issue.
Note: If i check the related vendor i could able to view that the language maintained as RU.

Thanks for your reply once again.
As mentioned by you earlier i have tried to login with languae RU in Q system but unfortunately i got an error saying taht language not installed.
Also we found for Language - EN and UOM - PC has been maintianed in T006A table.But if i check for lanugage - RU and UOM PC combinatoin has not manintaned in T006A table.
Please let me know how to maintain the values in this table T006A for combination Lang - RU and UOM - PC.
Please revert back with your soilution.
Note: I have tried in SM30 but failed due to below error
The maintenance dialog for T006A is incomplete or not defined

Unit of measure PCS not defined for language FR

Dear Gurus,
I try to raise a PO in ME21N, when saving the order, I am being prompted by the system with the following message:
"Unit of measure PCS not defined for language FR"
I then went to MM02 to check the material master data "Sales Text" Tab.
There the only language available is English, so I clicked on the "Language Maintained" Tab and created a new language for French.
The problem is that when I want to save the changes, the system prompts me with the following message:
"Blank texts exist in the following languages: French and English, these texts will be deleted"
Then the Material Master Data closes and no changes have been made.
Can you please guide me through step by step of what I have to do to be able to populate the field "PCS" for pieces in French so that it is taken into account in the Material Master Data and by extension in a PO.

Hi Chris,
Goto T code CUNI. In the first screen click on GOTO-Translation-dimension.
Enter EN in Source language and FR in Target.Maintain the entry there.

Unit of Measure TON not defined for language PT ?

Hi all,
I'm new to MM and to SAP in general and I have 2 questions for now :
1. I have a requisition which is set up using unit of measure TON. When I try to create the PO, an error message pops up saying " Unit of measure TON not defined for language PT ". Do you know what does language PT means and why does this error appears? When I try to convert the TON into TNE, the same message pops up : " Unit of measure TNE not defined for language PT ".
I also can not convert TON into EA...any ideas why?
2. How can I see the total value of a PO that has many lines ?

appearing only when you select Ton, or any other unit.
pl. clarify.
I have seen that you get this message when your loging Login language is Portuguese.
Any how Configuration of units needs to be checked in
Spro >General setting > check Units of measurements ,
( or pl. use Tcode -- Cuni )
I also can not convert TON into EA...any ideas why?
can you give me some more inputs, what erro are u getting ?

Vendor Communication is maintained in "Portuguese language-PT", while creation of Scheduling agreement system will given the below error, bcz Scheduling agreement will taken the Langause from vendr master
"Unit of measure EA not defined for language PT"
Table 006A contains no entry for this unit of measure.
We have cross checked Material master and maintained the "langauge-PT" in material master additional data.
Checked T006A table for "EA" found for language "EN, DE, CN etc. not for "PT" how to maintain T006A table for Portuguase langauge.

No, it just gives you all the units maintained in that source language as a proposal to enter the description in target language PT, there will not be any change to the source language EN while maintaining a translation.

I am trying to create order using LSMW with
Object 0090 Sales documents
Method 0000
Program Name RVINVB10
Program Type D Direct Input
The issue is at the Sales Unit.
I prepared the unit as PC in the folloiwng 3 fields
ZIEME      Target quantity UoM
VRKME      Sales unit
MEINS      Base Unit of Measure
But get the following error, any thoughts?

I'll give U the place, from where this error can occur, check which is applicable to you:
1) In FV45PF0M_MARM_SELECT, after calling the FM MATERIAL_READ.
2) In Include, FV45PF0V_VBAP-UMVKZ_ERMITTELN, after calling the FM : MATERIAL_UNIT_CONVERSION.
3) In Include FV45PF0V_VBAP-VRKME_PRUEFEN, after material unit conversion.
4) In Incl. FV45PFAP_VBAP_FUELLEN_MAAPV, after call to the FM : F4_ALLOWED_QUANTITY_UNIT.
If U understand German( Ich Keine Deutsch lernen ), U might go to these programs and check the description.
However, all these point to the Sales Unit as U already know.. check all the data related to the Sales Unit and whether this unit is allowed for the material being used.

Debliery Units : VENDOR IS NOT DEFINED FOR THIS SYSTEM

Dear Experts,
In prespective modeler , tried creating 'DELIVERY UNITS'. However get error message
"CANNOT CREATE DELIVERY UNIT AS CONTENT VENDOR IS NOT DEFINED FOR THIS SYSTEM" ?
How can we maintain CONTENT VENDOR ? we are using in-house HANA installation.

Hi Manohar,
Language RU (Russian) is not defined in our system and therefore the translation in CUNI is not the appropriate solution for this error.
Instead, we just maintained the vendor master to be in EN language to stop the system error.

Error '' Unit IN2 is not created in language EN"

Hi all, I have created new material using UoM as "2 (square Inch), when i am doing excise Invoice for the same material it is ginving me error that '' Unit IN2 is not created in language EN" while it is allowing me to do GRN without Exc Invoice.
i have tried to CUNI , there is no entry showing for unit of measurement for "2 or IN2 . i tried to maintained is is giving message
'Unit of measure IN2 already exists' if i checked table t006A it is showing the Enrty in EN & DE both language,
i have also teried
Goto --> translation --> unit of Measurement but not sure what to do there, i have save confirm translation for the "2 there but still same problem is appearing.
Please Guide Any helpful ans will be awarded full marks. thanks

In what language did you create this new unit?
when you start CUNI, in the initial screen choose from menu GOTO > Translation to translate your unit into english language.

Unit ST is not created in language EN

Dear all,
we are using SRM 5.0 in the extended classical szenario.
Here we are facing a problem in transaction BBP_POC (Process PO):
When we try to add a new line to a PO we get the following error message "Unit ST is not created in language EN".
Although the first line was created with ST in EN.
Afterwards it is not possible at all to change the PO. We get the error message in every screen.

Please maintain your ISO Code for ST in Tcode CUNI, the ISO code for ST supposed PCE and tick the primary code. After you maintain the ISO Code, try to retransfer the PR again from SMQ1, and if there's still error, check to SRM--Tcode SLG1, and see what's the error.

Unit KG is not Created in language EN-- Error in MMBE

Dear Guru,
When i am running MMBE to verify the stock, system showing the stock as per parameters givien for Unit of Messasurement ( ex. EA.)
After Executing the report, at header level when i am chaing Unit of Messasurement ( Ex. to KG) system giving Error message
Unit KG is not Created in language EN
But when i am running mmbe by giving Unit of Messasurement KG and excuting ..its shows the report.
Y i am getting error message after excuting report and changing the UoM.
Plz guide me.

Hi,
As with most SAP messages it is always a good idea to trust what it is saying.
The system is telling you that KG has not been created in the English language.
Go to transaction CUNI to check the settings.
Select the Unit of measure for "MASS" (from the drop down list) and check the entries for UOMs.
KG should be there and should have an English description (the message said it was not there for EN)
If it is there and set up correctly then there might have been something else in the UOM field? You didn't enter " KG" did you (a blank character then KG?)

Regarding table T006 "Message: Unit CDM is not created in language EN"

Hello Experts,
There is an issue in the T006 table.
With the SE16 transaction if I list all the unit existing in the table T006, I found the unit CDM.
If I list only the unit CDM, I have the error message : "unit CDM is not created in language EN".
If I list all the unit with EN language in the table T006A, I found the CDM unit.
How could you do to avoid this error message.

Check with tcode CUNI for definition of UOM. You need to chek the said UOM defined under Dimensions, ISO or UOM for language EN.

You should first search in SCN before posting your queries. Most of your issues will be resolved.
Anyhow for this., you Need to create a Withholding tax type for the Country wither for Invoice posting or for payment posting.
The same can be maintained at the following path in SPRO.
SPRO-->> Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting global Settings --> Withholding Tax --> Extended Withholdingtax -> Calculation --> Withholding Tax type.
Here create the Withholding tax type for Invoice posting or Payment Posting.
