Unity web\sa can't open
application error:
AvCsGateway: FindTaggedComponent failed to find component Miu for user type Administrator+StatusMonitor (error 0x80004005).
Did you ever get an answer to this? I just ran into the same problem. Customer recently decommissioned a domain controller/exchange server so I'm guessing that part of the problem. Unity 4.0.4 Unified Messaging with Exchange 2003.

CS6 Design and Web Premium: can't open DW as it tells me I'm not connected to the internet
I downloaded CS6 Design and Web Premium 30 day trial, but can't open Dream Weaver as it tells me I need to install a java runtime to do this but that I can't because I'm (apparently) not connected to the internet. I am connected however, and when I try the network diagnostics it also confirms that I'm connected to the WiFi.

Word Web App can't open a document (corruption) but Word Desktop can
Hi,
My team and I are currently working on integrating a custom WOPI-Host and everything is going pretty good. While testing out different documents that will be used in the system to see the supported features and the reaction of Word Web App we found
a document that is problematic.
First things first, we took a document that was in Word 97-2003 version (.doc) and converted it in Word Documents (.docx). We had to actually use the Word Desktop Convert functionality because using "Save As" wouldn't work. We found
out that the document had Custom XML Data which was the reason that the "Save As" didn't work. So we did 2 version of the document in docx version. One that kept the Custom XML Data and one that didn't have it.
Now when we try to open the documents in the Word Web App, both trigger the same error: "Sorry, Word Web App can't edit this document because it appears to be corrupt.". What I don't really understand is that I can open them in the Desktop
version of Word without any problems. Also, if it was simply the Custom XML Data that would prevent Word Web App to open the document, how come the version of the document without these Custom XML Data is still considered corrupted by the Word Web App.
If needed, I can send the documents in question (probably by email since I don't see an option to attach them to this question).
Thanks,
Patrick RacicotHi,
I understand you can't open the Word documents from Word Web App, but may I know how you converted them? What is that "Word Desktop Convert functionality"? Would you please detail the steps of the conversation?
When you try the "Save As" method, any prompt or error? Can you keep saving just ignoring the error?
Before the conversation, I suggest you try removing the hyperlinks in the original .doc document, then convert the document to .docx format, check if then it can be opened from the Word Web App.
Feel free to post back to provide more information.
Thanks,
Melon Chen

RV120W can't open web management, can't open SSH/http to server on LAN port
Hi,

Topology:
Internet------RV120W(192.168.1.1/24)--------(192.168.1.5/24)PC
|---------------(192.168.1.2)L3switch(10.10.10.1/24)--------(10.10.10.2/24)Server
Here is the issue:
1. from PC after I login to 192.168.1.1 the WEB can't be opened. it show as web server not responding. I have try with 3browser 2PC but all same. But I use HP it can be opened.
2. on RV120W I added static route and now I from PC I can ping to Server. I can telnet but SSH/HTTP always failed.
On firewall I never set anything, all is permited.
I try version 1.0.3.10 and 1.0.4.10 but all same.Hi Bernadi, thank you for using our forum, my name is Luis I am part of the Small business Support community. I have some question for you:
1.1) What kind of computer are those that didn't work?
1.2) If you connect those, are you receiving an IP address from DHCP?
1.3) What gateway is showing?
2.1) Do you have any debug or error?
2.2) Did you try creating an Forwarding rule for 443 to the server address?
I recommend you always use the last firmware.
I hope you find this answer useful

Hi,
This would normally be a problem with the site itself, not with your browser - see the link below for a more detailed explanation.

MS Web Outlook - can't open attachment with Safari
I am using Web Outlook at work to access mail - via Safari 3.1 on my MacBook Air -
Anytime I try and open an attachment of any type (.xls, .pdf, etc) it says I must right click and save attachment to my hard disk. When I try and do that, I get nothing.
Is there a security change I must do? I have unchecked the block pop ups in Safari - any suggestions?--Bee: No difference with CNN. Also followed your instructions, i.e., "Safari Preferences > Security >Show Cookies. Type in the name of your credit union. Then select "Delete all" that show up. RESTART Safari. (This is important)."
I typed in the "Https" address of CU and followed your cues -- there was no pop up "delete all" -- so I just killed all refs to CU in the cookie jar. But still couldn't open via Safari. However, I noticed right in front of the HTTPS address using Chrome there is a little green lock followed by green HTTPS letters, which suggested to me that maybe only Chrome can open this (????) Unfortunately, there is an orange lock followed by the word "secure" when I tried to open CU via Opera which cannot open it either. Mystified. No lock on Firefox or Safari. BTW, my computer is showing signs of schizophrenic behavior. In my mail there is a NOTE feature where I mark down certain things, but the last two times I used it today it mailed the note to my in box. Perhaps this behavior is a sign of a darker more serious malady. Steve -
Error word web app can not open this document for viewing in office web apps 2010
Hi
i am receiving office web apps error.
i installed sharepoint 2010 on windows server 2012 datacenter,
and installed office web apps 2010 and sp2
adilHi Adil,
From the error message, I recommend to check the things below:
Check if Word Viewing service is started in Central Administration. If it is started, stop and re-start it.
Check if the Word Viewing service proxy is created.
Check if the Word Viewing service proxy is associated with web application with issue.
If above cannot work, please check the ULS log for further research.

TechNet Community Support -
I have just set up Office Web Apps Server in a SharePoint 2013 test environment as per document here:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff431687.aspx
Although I had some issues with Excel Web App at first, I've solved this and excel seems to work ok, However, the Word Web App just sits there spinning and ultimately give the error dialog:
"Sorry, Word Web App can't open this document because the service is busy. Please try again later" The Same link as above has a simple solution :
Did you install Office Web Apps Server on a domain controller? Office Web Apps Server cannot run on a domain controller. Office Web Apps Server must be installed on a separate server that is part of a domain. For more information, see
Software, hardware, and configuration requirements for Office Web Apps Server.
I certainly did not install on a DC - its a standalone server.
ULS Logs are growing by 2K per second even when I am not doing anything on the server.
VERY FRUSTRATED!So after further research we have found the following:
Un-bind and unindstall Web Application Server
Clean Server
Reinstall (by Mistake to the C: Drive)
Bind and Provision
WOW it works!
Un-bind, deprovision, Uninstall, Web Application Server
clean Server
Re-install to the D: Drive
Provision and Bind
wow - it DOES NOT work
Again - repeat the first scenario
and once again IT WORKS
SO Why doesn't it work on the D Drive - We've checked IIS Setting and Permission - there don't seem to be any differences.
SO - Why isn't this working when changing the default installation location, is it just me? Has anyone gotten this working installing to another drive?
Thanks

Office Web Apps don't open documents stored on Sharepoint server
We have Sharepoint Server 2013 installed on a AD domain controller and Office Web Apps installed on a machine in the same domain and configured for internal-http WOPI zone. Discovery XML works fine. When opening a MS Office document, Office Web Apps show
its label for a minute or two, and then display the message "Sorry, Web App can't open this document because the service is busy. Please try again later" or the message "Web App cannot open this document due to an unknown error."
Network logs show repeated requests to Docdatahandler.ashx to which Web Apps server each time responds with some XML saying it's busy, and to Reshandler.ashx to which the server each time responds with 404 status.
The ULC logs for Sharepoint server look like this:

Hi, I'm very new to fireworks and since I installed it 4
weeks ago I can't save or open png files. An error message appears
stating An internal error occurred. I've read through other posts
and because fonts kept coming up It needed doing anyway, I ran a
clean install of my os, still no luck. All other file types are
fine.
Mac G5 - 10.4.9 running studio 8
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
Thanks. My OS is 10.4.11. on 2 GHz Intel iMac.
I reread my orignial post and noticed a typo. I can save png's with PS "save for the web," but can't open those just-saved png files.
I did lots of things before I noticed that the png wasn't working. Don't know which may have caused a problem. Likely things? Well, I added a plugin for Ico. format. I deleted it because I thought it might have caused the conflict.
Assuming that was the problem, what can I do to restore the png file format?
I don't have disk warrior. I did run the maintenance utility yesterday. It runs crons, clears caches, deletes cookies, that kind of stuff.
I've never had a problem with it disabling plugins or causing any problems. Haven't run disk utility for a few weeks. Would that help?
I didn't download the replace png plugin from Adobe, but the original wasn't working anyway. I looked for a backup on the exernal drive, didn't find one, and downloaded another.
Next, I did a Photoshop reinstall thinking that might fix the problem, but it didn't. Which plugin folder should the png plugin be place in. I've never been sure why there are two format folders; the folder in plugins, and the folder in Photoshop only. -
updated safari to 6.0.2... app starts but can't open any pages...help!
I tried turning off extensions as you suggested, Bee, but the problem persists. As you can see Chrome is working. Turning on auto proxy discovery in preferences made no difference.
The message I get when trying to open a web page is:
Safari can't open the page "http:www.apple.com/support/". The error is: "The operation couldn't be completed. Operation not permitted" (NSPOSIXErrorDomain:1)
Any chance you can decipher this and tell me what it means other than the web page can't open which I kind of figured out. -
Can not open a particular web site
Hi, I always tried to open one web site and it used to open well in Firefox and IE. but since last few days it stopped opening both in FF and IE. It gives error as
1. The connection has timed out The server at www.eng-tips.com is taking too long to respond.
2.If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
3.If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I Google with all above questions and tried most of the solutions, nothing works. Wondering why it stooped opening suddenly ? I tried to open it from other locations just to check if its down but its fine and working but can not open from my home internet. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.Did you [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Error%20loading%20web%20sites#w_try-clearing-firefoxs-cookies-and-cache Try clearing Firefox's cookies and cache] ?
