Universal edit of menus

Spry menus will not store in the "Assets" area. How can I
edit the menu so that all other instances of a Spry menu,
horizontal or vertical, will be automatically updated?

It sounds like you are still using the default tabbed form with the MissingFields FieldRef. Although the MissingFields field is OK for testing with IDM, it's generally not what you want when you are starting to get serious for the following reasons:
1) The fields it generates are not very pretty.
2) The fields it generates are all global fields. If you have users that have accounts on multiple resources, global fields don't always synch these fields in the desired way.
3) The fields it generates don't handle multi-valued fields properly.
I think reason 3 is what is causing your problem. If you want to manage objectClass, then you'll want to specify a MultiSelect or TextArea field in your form.
Hope that helps.

It's probably easiest to uninstall PSE10 and re-install it to undo any changes made by adding those actions.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall PSE, then check to see if any of these folders remain (change the "9.0" to "10.0").  Delete them if they're still there.  (You'll have to temporarily allow viewing hidden files and folders by using Start...Control Panel...Folder Options...View tab.)

  • Can I edit disc menus outside Premiere 10?

    Hi
Can I edit disc menus outside Premiere 10?
Never done it and I would prefer it, as I find Adobe' is a bit too basic and slow.
    Thanks
    M

    Hi
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Yes, I found them [W7 Home Premium - 64bit - Intel Core2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.54GHz - 200 Pin SO DIMM DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz - Ati Mobility Radeon HD4650 Graphics card uses abot 1GB MAX of the Memory if needed on top of its own 500Mb- X-black LCD 16.4' HD - No game ever had problems of performance yet - 2 years].
The reason I asked about editing them outside Premiere 10 is because the editing in Premiere 10 is the most basic they could do.
I understand Adobe wish us to upgrade to the Pro version but those menus are not much editable and too constricted to the basic design/low quality/button-image-text.
At least some of them are and I am using [testing] a HD one - the 'Fun' one on the General List and I now moved to the 'Grid' - having a more basic background to 'properly' show characters - also sometimes the preview plays at a awful pixel rate.
I am no expert, but I would have preferred a 'proper' external editor to use in conjunction.
When I find the time I will create my own - if possible!
Are there any external Disc Menus Editors so, I can import them into Premiere?

  • Edited gnome menus with Alacarte - gnome wont start anymore!

    Hi!
First off; I've had this problem about a year ago, and the only thing that repaired it was to reinstall Arch... I made a similar thread at the time, but didn't get any help.
I use Alacarte to edit my gnome menus, but when I delete the items that I dont use, the next time I try to log into the computer, gnome wont start. It stops loading the desktop while the splash-screen shows, and I can see the mouse-cursor and conky in the background, but no menus or panels, and the splash-screen wont go away either.
Luckily, this time I had both openbox and gnome installed, so I was able to use openbox to write this thread.
Anyone got any tips on how to fix this without reinstalling my os?
    Cheers

Okay so I found a way to work around this problem. If I create a new user it works again, BUT I want my old user back. If I delete my main user, and recreate it with the same username etc, will it use my old home directory with all my settings etc?

  • Adobe CS & Universal Editions

Does anyone know when/if Adobe plans to release their CS software in Universal???
Back when I got my MBP, the word was they were waiting until their next schedules software updates to include Universal programming. That was supposed to be this summer (I think). Any new press releases?
Being that I loaded up my MBP specifically for graphic design/photo editing, I really do not want to buy these programs until they will run optimally on the MBP.

I have just visited the Aperture discussion and it seems after the last update and yesterday's mini update there seems to be a marked improvement in the performance and use of this app. I am considering it because I like some of its functions especially when it comes to printing and presentation.
I have been holding off because the first edition was power pc only and apparently brimming with bugs.
Lightroom is ok, but still lacks that 'real-time' working environment which is important for me; something CaptureOne does extremely well.
I'm looking forward to start using my MBP on the road for this type of work.. Just as soon as the repair center decides to give it back

  • Missing edit & view menus in fcp7

Here recently I notice my edit & view menu is missing.  I restart FCP7 and it comes back then it goes away again.  When they go away, mark -help moves down to the file menu.  Doing a Google search comes up with is to reload FCP7 to correct the issue.  Any thoughts on another solution other than to reload?

Before reinstalling, I'd recommend that you first try trashing FCP's preferences .  Use this utility to help: http://www.digitalrebellion.com/prefman/
If you do decide to reinstall, use this app to perform a complete uninstall: http://www.digitalrebellion.com/fcsremover/

  • Edit Pop Menus

Is it possible to edit the order of the data in a Pop Menu that is already existing?

Hoping a feature has no effect.
    Would be more efficient to
_Go to "Provide Numbers Feedback" in the "Numbers" menu_,
ask for a way to edit popupMenus.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait _at least_ for iWork'10

  • Can I edit contextual menus?

I use the contextual menus a lot (right-clicking) and the thing that is annoying to me is that there is a lot of clutter in my contextual menus. I would like to remove all the Stuffit references except for Stuffit Expander. I sometimes accidentally select the wrong one and it opens one of the Stuffit components that I don't want. I have looked at what is in the main Library but it doesn't list all the separate components. It just shows the StuffitCM plugin. Is there a way to do this?

    Try this:
    1. Left click on the Desktop (to make the Finder active).
    2. Go to the Menu at the top. Next to the black apple, left click on "Finder."  Scroll down to "Services."
    3. When you get down to "Services," move the cursor to the right, to "Services Preferences."
    4. In the pop-up, choose "Keyboard Shortcuts."
    5. Use the small scroll bar in the pop-up and select or de-select whatever you need. But do not de-select items that you do not know what they are for! Also, it might be a good idea to jot down whatever you change, so that you can restore them if necessary.
This worked perfectly for me for GraphicConverter.

  • RoboHelp 9 - can you edit Style menus?

Hi All, we are using RoboHelp 9 and many of us are accustomed to using the drop-down Style menu located in the upper left corner of the RH GUI, but it does not include all styles. Is there a way to modify the drop-down menu to include all styles? Thanks very much.

No you cannot modify that dropdown. It just shows what is in the Paragraph and Character styles in the Style Pod.

  • Edit Menus

Hey. I'm using gnome, and when I hit 'edit menus' on my menubar, it brings up that window, as usual, but hte panel on the side where I used to add/remove/edit items in the lists are gone, and I can't right click anything to see properties and such. The only thing I can do is check/uncheck items. Is there a way to fix this? Or maybe edit from a CLI somehow?

I have a problem also when I try to edit the menus in Gnome. When I press with the left button in menu and then to edit menu...nothing happend!

  • How to edit drop down menus in Contribute?

When I get to a page on my site with drop down (or jump) menus, there doesn't seem to be any way of editing these in Contribute. Anyone know how to do this?

    Hi,
If you have used Spry widgets (like Menu bar widget), then, you can edit the menus within Contribute CS5 itself. But if you are using any other way like a script based or 'form action' then, within Contribute you cannot edit such menus. You can choose to edit such web pages in an external application (like Dreamweaver, Textpad, or Notepad) by clicking Ctrl+Shift+E, and the web page will be opened in that editor. You can make changes there, save it, and publish the web page in Contribute.
    Hope this helps.

  • Labview edit time menu and right click popup menus

How can i add a menu item to the labview edit time menus and to the right click popup menu of any selected object in a block diagram?
I would like to integrate commonly used tools by me out of the springboard scripting tool into actual labview.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

It sounds to me like you are looking for something like the Right-Click Framework.  Some people really like it, I have not used it extensively myself.  I've had a request to convert a quick drop shortcut into a RCF plug-in, I'll see how it goes.  I have also longed for a good way to hook into the LV IDE to add my own tools, what I find are useful, but not fully satisfactory solutions.
    1)  Right-Click Framework:  Some initial startup costs in terms of downloading and installing.  Start up is a bit slow (on my machine), and the workflow is a bit different than what I am used to:  Select an object, press the hotkey, right-click.  You can get used to it, but it is not as responsive as a built-in right-click since you can't right-click in one action.  It seems to be easily extensible, I'll know more in a day or two.
    2)  Quick Drop:  Built into LV.  Slow startup like RCF.  Fairly easily extensible.  Not context aware (unless you build it in to your plug-in), so you have to choose your letters wisely.  After the initial pain, the response time is not shabby, does require the extra Ctrl-Space action.
    3)  Tools Menu:  I drop a few things in here, like my custom connector pane editor.  Not bad, but there are no keyboard shortcuts (what a pain), so it is good for actions that you might call once or twice on a given VI.
In short, all of these methods require extra clicks or keypresses and are a bit sluggish.  If something like copy and paste behaved this way we would never use LV again, but if your tool truly saves you a bunch of steps it is well worth it.  I have almost run out of letters to use for my QD shortcuts.
Addedendum:  Personally I am not quite ready to start talking to my computer, but LVSpeak seems pretty cool, Smashy Smashy.
