Alon,
Best to try the database forum and search for "external process" or "extproc" for this - it needs setup for the listener and in the database itself.
You need to be aware - all your commands will be run as the oracle user so you should be very careful who can run them and what commands they can run.

Firefox 31.0 - slowness and script problems for using websites

Since Firefox 31.0 is released, some technical problems of slowness and script problems to use
websites have been noticed from mine. Sometimes it needs up to some minutes to load a website
and sometimes there are error messages for an unanswered script.

although it is a professional technical answer from a Top 10 Contributor
from mozilla.
It seems that there is a permanent unfixed problem always if a new
version of mozilla is released. After all fixed problems of the earlier
version of firefox, there is no problem at all.
But if I am already working with the non-problem earlier version of
firefox, then suddenly the problems of error messages, slowness and
script errors are appearing, and if I have looked for the actual version
of firefox, there was signed a new version and now I have known,
aha a new vesion of firefox was released and it needs up some time
for every new version until the error problems were fixed.
Maybe it is combined with the plugins like flashplayer or shockwave.
But a professional version of firefox should not sign up error messages,
because of plugins, while working with these plugins.
Another answer from another support.mozilla.member was for an
overload problem, because of opening some windows of firefox.
But to open many windows of firefox was already no problem with the
earlier version firefox 30.0 or earlier, until the error messages are fixed.
The same unfixed problems are since firefox 25.0 up to 30.0, but I was
wondering for how long version 30.0 was actual in practical working.
And since version of firefox 31.0 was released the same problems
of error messages, slowness and script errors were appearing.
At the moment it seems firefox 31.0 works alright.
But only the following time shows if it works without error messages,
slowness and sript problems or not.

How do I create a forum to my website?

I publish to a folder and use Fetch software to upload my files to another host. Since I don't use Mobile Me there seem to be a number of work around issues to what I want to do. One issue is that we don't have comments, and what we'd really like anyway is to add a forum to the website. I am a "learn as I go" type of user, and have never done this before.
What is the simplest, least expensive way for me to add a forum on to my existing iWeb site?

Hyperlinking to an external page from the navbar:
Link it to a blank internal page titled "Forum". In that Forum page add an HTML Snippet with the following code:

An expression is a little piece of softwaremuch like a scriptthat evaluates to a single value for a single layer property at a specific point in time. Whereas scripts tell an application to _do_ something, an expression says that a property _is_ something.
With expressions, you can create relationships between layer properties and use the keyframes of one property to dynamically animate other layers. For example, you can use the pick whip to link path properties, so a mask can take its path from a brush stroke or a shape layer object.
The expression language is based on the standard JavaScript language, but you do not need to know JavaScript to use expressions. You can create expressions by using the pick whip or by copying simple examples and modifying them to suit your needs.

I cannot open my Hotmail emails from Firefox. I have been on the hotmail Help Forum and they suggest to use Internet Explorer. Does Forefox not support Hotmail now?

I can log into hotmail but cannot open my emails or go to Sent items or anything. I have gone on the Hotmail Help Forum and MANY people are having the same problem. Hotmail say we should use Internet explorer and they do not really answer about using Firefox.
People using Firefox 3 and 4 are having problems.
Also, i downloaded Forefox 4.0.1 and it was not fully compatible with Kaspersky - has this problem also now been resolved?
In summary - is Forfox 4.0.1 NOT comaptible with Hotmail and Kaspersky?

Sorry, I can't help with Hotmail, beyond clearing the cache - I haven't used it for 11 or 12 years now. Surprising that a Firefox 3.6 version would have trouble there, as 3.6 has been around for well over a year and Hotmail problems are usually with a recent release of Firefox.
IMO, if Hotmail support can't help you with Firefox issues on their website and can only recommend using IE, maybe it's time to change web mail service providers. My advice is to signup with a different web mail service, one that takes Firefox seriously. Then set up forwarding in your Hotmail account to have all your Hotmail emails forwarded to that new account. Then slowly transition your email contacts over to the new email address over time. As long as you log in to Hotmail every month or two, your account there should stay active and emails sent there should get forwarded to the new email account. I have done that three times in the last decade, and the first one I transitioned from was still forwarding email thru the two intermediary accounts to my current account until last summer when that service finally changed owners and they wanted all new accounts set up or transitioned to their new software - which I didn't do - and I hadn't even signed into my account there in over 4 years and "forwarding" was still working.

Facebook and other websites not loading properly in Firefox (Solution)

This is for anyone who has had issues loading Facebook, eBay, twitter or any other site which shows plain text pushed to the left hand-side of the screen and fails to load images.
This issue had me stumped for about 3 hours. No matter what I did. No matter what I disabled. The problem remained. I cleared my cache, reset cookies, disabled addons, reset Firefox to default settings and kicked my pc a few times for good measure.
The problem was fairly simple and at my end, this is not a problem with firefox. SSL certification for facebook was being deemed invalid and therefore the site failed to load properly. Now because Firefox doesn't deal with SSL certificate failures, there had to be something else going on in another program. I then realised that Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 was the problem. If a website failed SSL certification for any reason Kaspersky Blocks access to the site which was causing the page to not load properly. You have to disable Kaspersky's SSL certifcation checks to be able to run the websites properly. You need to load your Kaspersky main menu and click Settings once there go to the tab that looks like a cardboard box (Object Detection Settings and Exclusion Rules) then when you can see a list of different options select Network and you should see Monitored Ports and Encrypted Connections Scan, disabled the encrypted connections then reload Firefox and try the webpage that wouldn't load. To know that kaspersky is the problem, you will get a dialogue saying you have to add facebook as an exception since it failed SSL Certification and this was the culprit for me atleast.
I looked at the mozilla support forums and it seemed to me, many people were getting this issue and some issues went completely unresolved and there was no mention about Kaspersky, so I hope this helps.'''bold text'''

* is the problem documented elsewhere, preferably in a public open site, if so maybe you could provide a link
* can you detail simple but exact detailed Steps To Reproduce that will enable others to test out this problem and solution.

IOS 8 - pictures not uploading in safari for facebook and other websites? I just upgraded to IOS 8 on my iPad 3 retina display and when I try to upload pictures in safari for facebook, the picture upload just stalls and never completes. This happens in other sites as well. How can I fix this? Is anyone also experiencing this issue???

Sessions Not Closed After 'Execute Unix/Linux SSH Script' Activity

Hello,
Wondering if anyone out there has some experience with running "Execute Unix/Linux SSH Script" activities against a "Unix/Linux System" target and able to help?
We have a process that runs an ssh script on a Unix/Linux target and in the 'Target' tab we specify to open a new session on the target we want. It was our assumption that once the script is executed successfully that the session would be closed, however, that does not appear to be the case. It seems the target receives a "disconnect" from CPO but if we run "who -a" on the host, the session still exists. We are trying to run our activity/script in a while loop with a 60 second pause in between, and after 30 loops (30 minutes) the next call fails.
What appears to be happening is, the session opens on the Linux target and every occurrence of the "Execute Unix/Linux SSH Script" activity is merely connecting and disconnecting using the same session that was originally opened. But after the 30 minute idle timeout on the Linux host, the session is closed and the next occurrence of the SSH Script activity fails with the following error:
This activity xyz did not return within the expected time period and was abandoned.
Is there a setting in the target properties or activity properties that we're missing here??

simple answer is that your iPhoto library size depends on the number of photos and size of those photos - how many photos do you have> What version of iPhtoo? Of the OS? how large is a typical photo?
as to iCloud - no photos are stored in iCloud (except your IOS device backups) - iCloud today is a way to share photos - not store them

Test plan and scripts as accelerators

I'm about to start installing a RDS for PPM 6.0. In the SBS (Step-By-Step Guide) standard test plans and scripts are listed as accelerators. In the RDS package, however, I cannot find any documents describing the test plan or scripts. There are no links to these documents in the SBS.
Does anyone know where to find these documents for PPM 6.0?
I can of course create this manually, but it will save a lot of time to use the provided accelerators.

After you upgraded to TFS 2013 Update 4, if you want use this feature in the old/upgraded team projects, you need configure features for these team project, please refer to the detailed information in this document:
