Unknown Account in Keychain (for Google)

I woke up from a nap, came back to my computer, and checked my Google Calendar. However, I had been signed out and the account information (username, password filled out, "Stay Signed In" checked) on the page was for an unknown account. My Google account itself is fine, but I am wondering how this weird account information ended up in my keychain (subsequent attempts to load the sign-in page resulted in this same odd information being pulled from Keychain). I live alone and don't let the computer out of my sight on the rare occasion I have to take it somewhere. I tried Google-ing the username to see if there was a Google+ page or ********@gmail.com and there doesn't appear to be. Did the file just get corrupted or do I have a bigger issue on my hands?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am able to log into Google just fine. There hasn't been any weird access to my Google account, either. It's simply that Keychain has stored an unknown account's login information for Google (on my computer, for Safari).

Internet Accounts keeps asking for Google password

I've enabled 2-step verification on my Google account.
I've had this account set up in Mail.app so it has an entry in my System Preferences > Internet Accounts
Now, with 2-step from Google, there are Application specific passwords. Mail.app can no longer use my Google account password. I had to log in to Google and create a password just for Mac Mail.app.
That worked just fine. Mail is now checking my Gmail for me.
When I open System Preferences > Internet Accounts and look at my Google account, it asks for my password. My Google ID password no longer works, as I'd expect. So I entered my Application Specific password for Mail.app.
This is the problem. It asks me three times, every time I want to look at my Google account details in System Preferences.
Sound familiar to anyone? Anyone solve this?
I tried creating an app specific password for System Preferences, but that didn't work.

I just had exactly the same issue!
Some extra info:
Happened only in 2 of my gmail account (have several)
One of them had 2nd factor auth enabled (account 1)
The other one use simply a password (account 2)
Both accounts accept the password on the 3rd try
for the account ,1 it is the application specific password
for the account, 2 it is the normal account password
Moreover:
account 1 uses: Mail, Contacts and Calendar
account 2 uses only Mail
Right now the issue in both accounts is 100% reproducible
Account 2's password is rather long (>18 chars) and complex (Upper, Lower, Number and Symbols)
This could indicate and issue, but I bet there many more user who had such extremes
Even if that was the issue, account 1's application specific password is pretty simple and of a fixed size
Seems like a bug on Apple's side...

Calendar sync broken for Google Apps accounts

The Calendar no longer syncs with my Google Apps account; not in either direction. It pops up the sync notification and reports success, but nothing changes. I tried removing and adding the account. This actually broke in 1.2.1, but by the time I noticed, I assumed a fix was around the corner. 1.3.1 didn't help. I even created a brand new test account using the newly enhanced support for Google Apps. Mail and contacts work fine, but the calendar won't budge. Palm, I can give you the test account to play with if you'd like.
My standard Gmail account calendar syncs just fine. Saw the troubleshooting for standard account calendars and tried playing with the invitation options in my Apps account to no avail.

#1 is good already. I tried changing the other differences: Default View was month, Location had my zip code, Automatically Add Invitations was set to Yes.
#2 using network settings correctly had me in Central, but it said Regina, Canada. Changed it to Chicago and rebooted, but I'm still not syncing either way on my account nor the test account.
Here's the really odd thing. My Pre has all four of your entires on the test account from the 3rd and 4th. I just tried creating entries for the test account from both my Pre and desktop, and I'm not seeing any syncing. I've forced it about five times over the past 20 minutes.
Sounds like we're down to it either being homebrew's fault or something stuck in my launch day profile that would survive a wipe. I wiped my phone under 1.3.1 to undo a lot of homebrew cruft, but I still can't say I ever tested this in a virgin state. Enh. Go ahead and close the ticket. My workaround is fine with me. Feel free to keep using the test account for other stuff if you want.

If it's a free gmail account, you don't. Google no longer permits free accounts to be set up using Exchange Active Sync. Only paid google apps accounts can be set up as Exchange accounts.

To create an account for googole to use their applications, go to www.google.com, on the upper right hand corner of the browser, is will say sign in. Click that. Then it will bring you to a page in which you can sign in or create a new account. Create a new account following the steps and then you are set. Once you have downloaded a google app, you can use that same username and passward that you created at www.google.com

Mail can't write internet accounts in keychain access

After having resetted (is this right?) my login keychain, i've noticed *Mail can't write any of my pop and smtp passwords in my new keychain*.
I've tried the *UnlockCaptcha page* from Google, but Mail still won't save my passwords ;(.
_Is this a problem from Mail, Keychain Access or the fact i'm using a laptop?_

I can't help you but you are not alone. I am having the same problem.
After using MobileMe to sync my keychains all my macs no longer have mail.app keychain entries. Even after turning off MobileMe keychain syncing Mail.app fails to write a new entry into the keychain for my mail accounts. I am asked for the server passwords each new mail session. It's highly annoying.
I have tried keychain first aid and disk utility. Neither one found any errors.

Actually I couldn't use internet for approx 1 year. I thought My every detail is safe on FF server Now. when I am trying to sync my details in old sync, in first few attempt it can't login, but eventually it successfully logs in. but nothing is synching. So tried the same thing in New Synch. but When I try to login with same details It says unknown account. So I thought making new account with same id would overwrite data with new one. so I didn't. It's "safe" when you use it as intended, for synchronizing Firefox data between multiple devices. Sync was not intended to be used as you tried to use it; as a backup medium or "cloud".

Not broken here, still working fine as always. Have you tried repairing permissions or creating a new user account and seeing if the problem persists there? It's an issue with your install, as a guess. Working fine on all the Mac's around here with Safari 4.04

 Could anyone provide me an example about how to generate digital signature for Google Maps service v3 in PL/SQL? We tried to upgrade our program using Google maps service from v2 to v3. We are using PL/SQl on background to send request to Google for geocoding. We found some sample code to register with digital signature, but none of them is based on PL/SQl. Notice I used Google business client ID "gme-XXX" and wallet.

Limit cart unknown Account Assignment Not picking Approval email id

Hi All,
when i am trying to create a Shopping cart with unknown Account Assignment, at first instance approval email id is not picking. When i made some changes in the item data (say Descrtiption ) it is picking the approval email id. in SRM
We are SRM 5 to 7 upgrade, In SRM 5 there is a note to 974239 which will solve the issue. But the note is valid forSRM 7 EHP3 Version.
Can any one help me in giving the latest note.

BADI - There is one BADI to hide/show some SC item creation links, there is one BADI to control screen details of PO, CTR... but not SC (and not external screens).

To implement a more complex logic, like the default check box, change the ABAP code (usually in the PBO), if required.

Hello All,
i am facing problem in confirming the limit order with unknown account assinment.We are using Extended classic scenario with SRM version 5.00 and ECC 6.00. When creating shopping cart with unknown account assignments, shopping carts is getting created fine but when processing goods receipt the system only prompts for distribution by cost center and we do not have the option to selected processing against other account assignment e.g. internal order or network. the Cost center is coming as gray.What i am expecting that as in known account assignment it asks for a drop down and user can select cost center or order the same should happened with unknown account assignment. we have not implemented any badi for the same.
please help me out. Is this a standard behavior of shop with limit order for unknown account assignment where it prompts for cost center only or do i need to implement any badi.

PO created with Unknown Accounting Assgn in BE in SRM 3.0 classic scenario

Hi Experts,
When a Limit Shopping cart is created with known Account assign Cat ( cost center - L ) and cost distribution BY VALUE then it is creating a PO in the backend sys with UNKNOWN ACCOUNT ASSgn Cat ( U ) .
Can any one tell me how to change this value to Known account assgn cat in the backend sys ?
What is the Badi to find where it is exactly changing the value ?
I tried in below Badi's
BBP_ACCCAT_MAP_EXP and BBP_TARGET_OBJECTS but here I can see the value is comming Correctly ...
Please advise me ....

You execute the check status transaction, expand the item and click on the detail of the item.
Go to the change mode and order the cart. The Account assignment status is set to 'Unknown'.

Not saving passwords uniquely for google sites vs gmail

Installed the latest firefox for the first time on Windows 7. I have private email account that is hosted by google aps (mydomain.com). When I go to mail.mydomain.com, that eventually gets translated to google.com/a/mydomain.com/.... The resulting username/password is saved for www.google.com. When I go to my gmail account, that translates to google.com/accounts. I have an account that has the same username there, but a different password. When I save the username/password, it overwrites the first one. IE explorer recognizes these as 2 different sites and save the username/password as 2 entries, where as firefox save the username/password as 1 entry.
Is there some way to get Firefox to use more of the web address to distinquish username/passwords for different accounts hosted by the same vendor?
