'Unknown Application' when calling Contacts

Got a couple of users who have migrated from one Exchange/BES server to another. They have new handsets activated against the new BES. Thier Exchange accounts were migrated from one domain to another using Quest Exchange migration. So far I've only seen this issue on 2 out of 200 accounts. All are using 9300s with 6.0.0.600.
When selecting a contact to phone, Unknown Application pops-up. If the number of the contact is dialed this works fine. The contacts have all arrived on the handset from Outlook. The BES shows a correct count of contacts when comparing to Outlook so all looks OK there.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to get my hands on the the device to have a look myself; 500 mile round trip that I don't fancy!
Any ideas?

    These really aren't web dynpro abap questions.  Web Dynpro ABAP is just the frame around the BSP and you are really asking questions about the use of the BTF within BSP. I think these questions would be better suited to the BSP forum.  I will move this thread to that forum.  However before I do, I should warn you that such iFrame integrate is not recommended.  The iFrame is actually deprecated in 7.0 and 7.01 (but does return to support in 7.02).  You should note that the iframe has no session management and the BSP within the iFrame will have a separate user session from the surrounding Web Dynpro ABAP.  The recommendation for such integration is to use the Portal or the NWBC and integrate these ase two different iViews within one Portal Page.  In 7.02, you could also use the Page Builder and a URL CHIP to perform this integration.

    I rebooted the MacBook pro that my dad just gave me and erased all the memory that he had on it but when I try to install the applications disk again it tells me unknown error and to contact the manufacturer I don't know who that is exactly(is it a specific part of apple?) and I don't know how to contact them what do I do?

    Have you tried to download anything else?

  • Error when calling a procedure from my apex application

    I want to create a small APEX application that can configure asynchronous change data capture (distributed hotlog) on certain tables.
    Basically, what the application should do is to simply create change tables. Everything else is set up as prerequisite.
    My problem is that when I run the following script from schema apex_cdd (using sqldeveloper) , it works; but if I run it from my apex application by calling it when pressing a button as a pl/sql process, it doen't work.

    Is APEX calling the procedure from another schema ?
    Does anyone has an idea why this procedure crashes if called from APEX application, but works ok if called from the same schema APEX application runs on, but using SQLDeveloper ?
    Any thoughts are appreciated.

    The procedure apex_cdc.enable_table_capture i created myself with no authid mentioned explicitly, so it uses definer rights, by default.
    BUt this procedure is simply a wrapper for sys.dbms_cdc_publish.create_change_table.
    When I look on the security model for this sys.dbms_cdc_publish, i see it runs under invoker rights. (http://www.psoug.org/reference/dbms_cdc_publish.html).

  • When a contact gets a new phone number, I delete the old and enter the new.  Then when I text or call the old number shows up as a selection yet it's no longer under the contacts info.

    When a contact gets a new phone number, I delete the old number and enter the new number.  When I try to text or call, both the old a new numbers. One up as a selection choice, even though the old number is gone from the contact.

    That's normal behavior as the old one will remain in the memory cache for a while until it's eventually overwritten.  If it's particularly bothersome to you, you can restore your phone as NEW and this will empty the cache.

  • Issue when calling Stored procedure from application

      Oracle DB version: 11.2.0.3
       OS : RHEL 5.9 64-bit version
      We are trying to execute one of the stored procedure (belonging to oracle DB schema) from our Dotnet application(recites in application server) but it takes more than 30 seconds to fetch the records. The stored procedure is called from application. When we try the same procedure from SQL developer or TOAD it completes within a second. Could anyone suggest on the issue?
    Note: we are calling a remote DB view from our DB.

    In the Contacts app, select "Groups" in the upper left hand corner.
    Then select all the groups that are desired to be displayed.
    Select Done.
    Now search for the contact(s) in question.  Do they appear now?

  • IGS error (: Error When Calling Up IGS (ListenerRfc: unknown error))

      We have recently upgraded to NW04S.
      Most of our BW reports( SAP delivered or custom, web template or not ) work fine with the IGS, while some reports don't, We receive a message from the Enterprise Portal ( Error When Calling Up IGS (ListenerRfc: unknown error)). No other details are available
      We have checked and found out the related web templates are actually activates properly. From the same business content, we find some repports work and some don't, all however use web template.
      Has anybody expoerienced the same? Please help.

    Hi AHP,
       1> BW_IGS_ADMIN when executed showed me some charts with some statictics and status etc. However as mentioned the other report BW_IGS_CHART_TEST just shows me a blank screen.
        2> SM59 connection test for the IGS RFC  IGS_RFC_DEST is successful
        3> Ping on the Gateway Host( for the RFS dest) works fine as well.
        4> Also as I mentioned earlier, some of the reports using web teamplate works fine where some are not.
        5> when I do the RFC trace  ( since I get an "Error When Calling Up IGS (ListenerRfc: unknown error) ) via ST01 for the query , in the BI sysatem, I get an error 'Prog:CL_IGS_CHART==================CPRow:'.

    We have integrated IGS 640.2 running on os windows 2003 64 bit(BW 3.5) .When i call the IGS chart from the EP portal i am getting the following error messge

    When i run the report GRAPHICS_IGS_ADMIN i am getting a blank screen.
    This is in the case of production server.
    I am getting the graph when i run report GRAPHICS_IGS_ADMIN in my BW quality server ( with same version IGS 640.2 os windows 2003 32 bit).
    I have followed the below stpes for re-constructionin BW prod:
    Followed the Snote 458731
    1. Checked the Rfc destination 'GFW_ITS_RFC_DEST' amd 'IGS_RFC_DEST'
    2. I can see the monitoring page when i run http://IGSHOST:LISTENERHTTPPORT
    3. Program id and gateway is properly maintained
    4. It is not generating any dumps when i set the dump status to  "dump_on"
    but in BW quality - dump file is getting generated
    I can't switch on trace because it requires resatrt of teh server which is not possible in production.
    I can see service called SAP IGS in BW qualitybut it is missing BW production.
    Apart from that evrything looks similar in both quality and production server.
    Can anyone advice me on how to fix this issue.

    In rz20 you can find the IGS as the Internet Graphics Server in the monitor set SAP CCMS Monitors for Optional Components.
    When you double-click on this entry a hierarchy with performance values should be displayed. If no hierarchy is displayed, even though the IGS is running, call transaction se38 and execute the program graphics_igs_admin. Choose Environment  ® Switch on CCMS to activate the IGS display in rz20.

  • Environment.Exit hangs when called from an application domain exception handler

    I've implemented a handler for exceptions not thrown in the main GUI thread of my C# WinForms application, as follows:
        AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException  += OnUnhandledExceptionThrown;
    This handler is called from a background thread. The last statement in this handler is a call to
    Environment.Exit with the application exit code. However, the application hangs in this call. From within Visual Studio, it hangs and I'm unable to break the application; I have to use Task Manager to terminate Visual Studio. Environment.Exit
    works fine when called from the unhandled exception handler for the GUI thread. Is there a better way to terminate the application in the context of an unhandled exception thrown by a background thread?

    Are you just trying to avoid a crash? Environment.Exit can cause deadlocking if exiting in the wrong kind of scenario; if you're just trying to avoid a crash, use
    GetCurrentProcess with
    TerminateProcess to terminate your own process.  It skips the notification phases that Environment.Exit uses which prevents the common deadlock scenarios.

  • Contacts' name not appearing when called locally while travelling !!!

    When called locally abroad during travel the contact name does not appear. I have stored all my numbers in Int'l format.
    Is there a fix / tool to sort out this issue?

    I used to experience this. What I do now is store multiple versions of the same number, with and without the country codes. Mostly I use the country code version to dial out, while the phone uses the non-country code version to ID in-coming calls.
    For example, Contact "Buddy #238" may have two phone numbers, even though he really has just the one:
    78 (555) 123-1234, and
    (555) 123-1234
    I'd use the first to call out, but the in-coming calls may tend to show up as the second. Coming to think of it, which of the two number formats does your caller ID display when your friends call? Does any of this seem applicable at all? If you notice a different format for in-coming calls, just add that number to the existing contact(s).

  • Application breaks when called as Component

    So, I have this UI5 Application which works perfectly fine when called thru index.html, however it breaks (resources not found, failed to load,404 error etc) when I try to call it as Component. Both the applications (Caller & Callee) are on Gateway
    Here is the application folder structure.
    all the views are under zui5_trip_confirmation -> views folder..The images and models are in the respective folders.
    The component.js is under the folder Component and is defined as

    Hi Sandip,
    I had the same issue when I tried to create the Component based applications. From the index file I had the call to the component but was not able to call any of the Views from the Component.js directly even though I register the module path and define local resources for the view and controllers.
    Eventually, I solved the issue by having an app.js file which is called from the index and then the app.js would call the Component.js similar to the approach followed in the UI5 Boilerplate applications written by HP Seitz

    I would like to see / confirm if this is an issue in the framework when application are built out of eclipse.
