"Unknown BIB error", anybody ever actually fix this?

So I haven't used AE for about a year. I have V7 but had installed a trial of CS5.5 and that has expired so I uninstalled it. But V7 is now telling me "After Effects warning: Unknown BIB Error, Invalid encoding BRV 0.
The only thing I can find searching the web is "you have a FONT problem, uninstall the problem font" or similary vague responses.
This makes absolutely no sense. WHICH font? Come on Adobe, can't we give me a solution? It worked fine for over a year, and after installing CS5.5 too.

I had not yet uninstalled CS5.5 when the error began. The only thing I can think of that changed (since it last worked) was the CS5.5 trial ended. Could it be that disabled something on the system that is being used by other programs? The other option is that an Apple software update changed something. That is all that I can think of, this is on a Mac running OSX. I only use this system for Final Cut and AE. Otherwise I really don't use Apple, it is a dedicated system.
Now that I have a paying job that needs AE, I have to turn the work down. Especiale Bummer in this economy.
So if there is something mysterious going on with the fonts, surely there is a way to locate and repair it(?!?!) Can I uninstall the fonts and reinstall them? Should I reinstall AE CS5.5?
I'm thinking there are hundreds of people who have experienced this, but every instance I can find on the web, there is no final resolution. I don't want to let this go like that as it slips silently into the darkness. Someone please help find a solution,

When trying to troubleshoot a very technical issue like this, people are going to need a lot more info.
What EXACT version number of AE (down to the decimal) you're using, what OS, your system specs, etc.

Disk error - How do I fix this?

I was running Onyx, and while verifying the HDD, it told me I had an error on the startup disk and needed to run Disk Utility off of the CD to fix it. I ran the utility while in OSX (not the CD) and it says this:
Verifying volume “Macintosh HD”
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Checking Extents Overflow file.
Checking Catalog file.
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking Catalog hierarchy.
Checking Extended Attributes file.
Checking volume bitmap.
Checking volume information.

The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.

I do not want to mess anything up. I have heard the Disk Utility on the CD/DvD is either old or has problems. SO i just need to know for sure how to fix this.

As long as it is a MacBook Pro labelled DVD analyzing a MacBook Pro, Disk Utility should be fine as far as analyzing basic directory structure issues with the Repair Disk and Verify Disk functions. I say basic, because Alsoft Disk Warrior when it repairs the disk directory is much more thorough in its efforts to construct a brand new directory to replace one which is damaged than Disk Utility or fsck. Regardless of the method used, directory damage can have the same symptoms as a dying hard drive. Even a modern MacBook Pro is not immune from its drive dying quickly. And since repairing the directory is a much more invasive routine than pure data recovery, I only recommend fixing the directory on a machine that has been backed up, or you have at least attempted a data recovery with Prosoft Data Rescue.

in the client codes, try closing the output stream later, after in.readObject()

Everytime I try to update or redownload itunes i get the %appdata% error. how do i fix this so i can download itunes again.

My iPod won't sync music due to a disk error, how do I fix this?

I just got a new iPod 4G and it won't sync any of my music or apps. I really don't need anything else on my iPod so I have everything else unchecked. I have tried a system restore and to reset all settings but nothing works. I also have tried deleting the Photo cache folder and that didn't help either. I am going on a trip in less then a week and I would really like my iPod to be working for that trip. Please help!! Thank you in advance.

I just got off the phone with senior level support at apple. There are two things she had me do to fix this problem.
1. Uninstall itunes and then re-install version 10.7 from the apple website here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/
2. Then go here: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl837, this will take you to the Quick-time version 7.7.3 for Windows page, download & install this version. You will need to reboot after this install and once you have finished you should have no problems opening Itunes.

- Turn off restrictions if enabled (you may have to reconnect the iPhone)

iphone was flashing apple logo then got it into recovery mode then restore so had to download 7.0.4 and that was successful but got error (21) when restoring it to phone and screen on phone flashed while doing this the went back to recovery mode but this time laptop could not detect the iphone this time when i tried it again it did the same thing constantly PLZ HELP ME!

HT6154 iOS 7 and iPhone 4S - I lost my WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities last September with the new OS, and I THOUGHT it was actually fixed this morning with the latest release - my WiFi AND Bluetooth actually worked....for about 5 minutes, but no longer

I thought this latest OS release had fixed my WiFi and Bluetooth problem, but I was excited for only a minute! I actually was able to connect to my WiFi at home and paired my Bluetooth to my car - but after a few minutes, the Bluetooth automatically turned off and the WiFi no longer worked. Is there a FIX to this??? I know it's the OS that disabled them and I'm not paying $500 for a new phone when my upgrade is not availbe for another six months!!!!

My iPhone 4S did once again did lose it's wifi connection after running perfectly for about 8 weeks.
I was streaming Pandora Radio via bluetooth connection at the time, ( not sure if that has anything to do with why the wifi dropped out again, but I thought I'd mention it anyway)
But!.... I was able to get everything up and running perfectly again by simply grabing my girlfriend's hair dyer heated it up again for about 5 - 7 minutes ( the over heated message even appeared this time) then powered it off, warped it in a plastic bag, stuck it back in the freezer for 15 minutes, took it out of the freezer, powered it back on, and Abracadabra it works perfectly again!!!
Phone has been running perfectly AGAIN for about a week now.
One strange thing this time after fixing it for a second time is that the the little WiFi symbol no longer shows at the top of the screen, but the wifi connection and everything IS RUNNING PERFECTLY!
If all I've got to do once in a while, is spend about 20 minutes with a hairdryer and a freezer to keep my iPhone 4S running perfectly.....well I'm as happy as a pig in s*** :-)
And please no comments about how I have now voided my apple support etc. I never had any to begin with (it's a 2nd hand phone and I really couldn't care less about warranty issues etc etc etc..... The phone works, and that's all that matters to me!

I just got the 7.0.3 upgrade and my phone is locked on a black screen with a blue itunes circle and the end of a usb cord on it. i assumed this meant sync with itunes which i tried and pressed reset and itunes says theres an error how do i fix this
