Unknown caller I'd with I phone6
I am having the same issues have spent numerous hours with Apple and AT & T trying to resolve. Is a huge issue as I am a caregiver for my parents. Their phone number as well as the doctors office show up as unknown. I hope a solution to this problem is escalated. In addition, I am having issues with connecting to my cars audio. It connects and then disconnects. I lose the call, then have to shut off Bluetooth, because no connection can be made to the phone or the car. As of today will not connect to car. Very frustrating.

Caller I.D. stopped working today on all four of our TVs. We tried the trouble shoot and that did not work. Advised us to call Verizon.
Anyone else have any sugestions?
It's been reported on DSL Reports that there is a nation-wide outage for Caller ID. Caller ID and remote DVR on My Verizon are broken too.

Cannot conference unknown caller id with other sky...
I cannot conference call someone who has called me with an unknown caller ID. I have government officials calling me who will not reveal their caller ID.
How do I conference call these unknown ID callers?That isn't a problem with Skype. That is how telephones work. What you want is beyond the scope of the standard telephone and Skype. Skype has the capability to allow you to have conference or multi-way conversations using the Skype client. Skype isn't a standalone conferencing/call forwarding service and does not offer a dial-in nor routing/transfer capability. It would need to act as a middle-man/bridge which it isn't. If you require such a capability you will need to find a conferencing service with dial-in capability. This would allow people to dial into a number that hosts the call.

Hello,
I am here because I have exhausted my Coldfusion/Java ssl keystore certs trouble shooting abilities. Here is the issue. I am developing a Coldfusion 11 application that must make api calls to Chase payconnexion SOAP services. I am using the coldfusion cfhttp tags to do this, which is using the java jre 1.7.x to accomplish this. The problem, I am getting generic 500 internal server errors from Chase. They claim that I am not sending a cert during the ssl exchange. What I have done is:
- put our wildcard cert/key pair in the coldfusion keystore
- put our root and chain in the keystore
- put the chase server cert in the keystore
- converted the key/crt files to .pfx and make the calls
to chase with those, something like:
<cfset objSecurity = createObject("java", "java.security.Security") />
<cfset storeProvider = objSecurity.getProvider("JsafeJCE")/>
<cfset Application.sslfix = true />
<cfhttp url="#chase_api_server#/"
result="http_response"
method="post"
port="1401" charset="utf-8"
clientCert = "#cert_path#/#cert_file1#"
clientCertPassword = "#cert_password#">
<cfhttpparam type="header" name="SOAPAction" value="updateUserProfileRequest"/>
<cfhttpparam type="header" name="Host" value="ws.payconnexion.com" />
<cfhttpparam type="xml" value="#trim(my_xml)#"/>
</cfhttp>
Here is what I see in the Cf logs, can anyone help me interpret what
is happening ??
Thanks,
Bob

Application crashes when calling DLL built with LabVIEW 2011
Hello everybody,
Our application calls DLLs built with LabVIEW 2010 SP1. We installed LabVIEW 2011 and built some DLLs. So far so good. If we start our application and run 2010 DLLs it still works fine. If we run a 2011 DLL just once no error happens, but if we try to run the same 2011 DLL our application crashes reporting the error below. I saved the code for 2010 version and built a DLL and it works fine. Does anyone know why?
Thank you in advance.

error.PNG 11 KBOn that note, you should be able to create DLLs in 2010 and run them with 2011, correct?? In my case, I have a 2010 built DLL (talking to sbRIO), most of the functions work when run in 2011, but a couple of them lock up LabVIEW on the desktop (but not the sbRIO), no lock ups happen with 2010 on the desktop.

Using *77 to set 'anonymous' or 'unknown' call blocking is not working
Per instructions from Verizon, I used *77 to turn on anonymous call blocking last night. I dialed *77, and got a voice telling me that I have enabled anonymous call blocking.
However, it's NOT working. When I call home from my office, it shows up in caller ID as "unavailable"; shouldn't a call that is identified as 'unavailable' be blocked with this service? Does anyone understand why this would be the case? Are all 'unavailable calls' the same?Unavavailable/unknown calls and anonymous/private calls are two different things. Anonymous calls are calls from someone who has chosen to block their telephone number from being displayed on your caller ID screen. This means the caller has dialed *67 before dialing your phone number (or they have what is called line blocking where all their outgoing caller id info is automatically blocked without them having to dial *67 before every call). *77 is used to block anonymous/private calls and force the caller to allow their caller id info to come through to your phone in order for the call to complete.
Unavailable/unknown calls are calls in which no caller id information has been sent. These are generally from collection agencies or telemarketers. *77 will not block these calls in any way. The only services which will block or screen these calls are Call Intercept or Do Not Disturb. -
I have synced my iPhone with the Outlook. Sometimes, when I receive a call the name of the caller is not displayed, rather "Unknown Caller" gets displayed on the iPhone, while the number is already there in the iPhone's contacts list.
Probably means the caller is withholding their details - whether or not they know they are. They may be ringing from work and the employer's phone system is set up this way. This will apparently override the fact that you have them in your contacts.

Want External Phone Number Mask to say "Unknown Caller" Is this Possible?
When a user dials an external # is it possible to have it show on Caller ID as "Unknown Caller"?
I have deleted the # that is currently in the External Phone Number Mask, and left it blank, but the Coporate# now shows when he dials out.
This is something that only needs to be setup for 1 user, not the entire company.There will always be some number/name displayed. If you do not put in a number in the outside mask, the number/name associated with the smart trunk will be displayed.
You might talk to your local phone company and see if they can restrict the numbers or a single phone number. If they can do that on even one number, you can put it into the mask for all of your phones.
Two other problems you might have with this. One, a lot of people (I do) block calls from phones that do not display a phone numbers.
Another problem you are going to run into is when someone calls "911" by accident. The Police/fire will try to call back to the number for the smart trunk. And since most often is not on a phone. They will send cars or trucks to the address listed for those smart trunks. Usually the billing address for your company. -

Please help me if anybody has this problem before.
SergeyHi Sergei,
I've just finished a three day search for a FRM-92101problem, so I want to post my case, just in case it helps someone.
My case is similar to yours, in that you have a Forms 6i form migrated to 10g and deployed on Linux, although my problem was "very" specific, and thus very hard to find, this might give you some light.
I had a visual attribute that defined the property "Fill Pattern" as "none" applied to a canvas, and it deployed without any problem on 10gR2/Windows, but when deployed on Linux (10gR2/SUSE 9) it would abort the application getting a FRM-92101.
The solution in this case was just changing "none" to "Transparent".
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Miguel. -
hi i know this has been posted before but none of the responses seem to help me. i have recently got the iphone and every time someone calls me that is on my contacts list it comes up as unknown caller. i have tried resetting the phone, i have checked that their phone is not on call id block, i have added +61 before the number and still it comes up as unknown. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.
i am thru the optus network in australiaI'm not sure about carriers in Australia but when I first got my iPhone in Canada with an "iphone plan", it didn't come with caller ID at all. I had to pay extra in order the activate that feature. I have since switched to another plan but it seems some carriers do not provide caller ID automatically, may be the case with Optus in australia as well.

Garmin Nuvi 765T Bluetooth Phantom Unknown Caller Issue...
I recently got a new Nuvi and synced it with my Storm. It worked great until I did some voice dialing via the Nuvi interface. Now, every time the 2 pieces sync up with one another over bluetooth, I see a phantom incoming call from "unknown caller"...it doesn't matter whether I push accept or ignore, the Garmin accepts the call and treats it like a real call, preventing me from placing any out-bound calls through the Garmin unit. I'm asking here because the Garmin folks knew nothing about the issue. I'm thinking it may have something to do with blackberry/Garmin interaction? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
i have exactly the same problem with the nokia 5800 & the garmin 765t. One of the reasons i chose this unit was for the handsfree capability. Surely the latest nokia xpressmusic should be compatible - according to Garmin the xpressmusic 5610 is. Like BuNka i can accept calls via the unit, but not make them - i get a message on the phone when i dial out on the 765t but it quickly disappears and the call isn't made, though just once it did actually make a call, but i can't get it to repeat that. I have tried pairing both ways, i.e. phone to satnav, and satnav to phone - makes no difference, and also, when the satnav is paired it changes the default handsfree on the phone to bt handsfree device (?). To get it back to normal i have to unpair the devices. I have the latest firmware/software on both devices.
Another problem is that when the units are paired, the first incoming call i get rings on the satnav & the phone. But for subsequent incoming calls the phone doesn't ring or vibrate even though these are set on, and the satnav makes no sound either. The incoming call is shown on both units, but there is no alert tone. I missed several calls before i realised this was happening. To get the phone to work properly i have to unpair the 765t on thre phone then switch the phone off and on again. This is really **bleep**!!!!!!!!!!!! I have emailed garmin but they aren't much help - they just say the phone isn't in their compatible list.. which it isn't.. but it SHOULD be!! I guess the message is if you have a nokia 5800 dont expect handsfree from the Garmin 765t.... -

How can I make my number show up as an "unknown caller"?
I have an HTC Rezound and I would like to have my number show up to other callers as an "unknown" caller. How can I do this from my phone?
rcschnoor wrote:
I can think of SEVERAL reasons, with not wanting to give out your cell # as the top one on the list.
For example if you are using your personal phone for business, you would not necessarily want people calling you for business reasons at all hours of the night. Once your number gets out, it is hard to put the genie back in the bottle.
I have several coworkers that would prefer not letting their personal numbers get out to half of the people they contact through their jobs. -
How do I block anonymous or unknown calls on the I phone 5 and 6?
How do I block anonymous or unknown calls on the I phone 5 and 6?
Thank you for messaging us, mandmc. Being able to customize and block unwanted callers is important. In order to be able to block unknown numbers, there is a service feature that we offer through Family Base that allows you to block all unknown callers: http://vz.to/1sSnjqp
You can also search for apps that can help with this, but be sure to check reviews to make sure they do work correctly.

Waves of blocked and unknown calls
The continued waves of blocked and unknown call has me never picking up my phone. I have no blocks on my account, btw. I have been missing important calls as I have to keep the phone on vibe. I cannot find a way to block these calls. I hope I'm missing something on the phone or account that can help. Thanks.
Hi dcbill,
I feel your pain; I don't like unsolicited/blocked calls either. While there is no way to keep companies or people from calling your number you can block incoming calls from restricted/blocked/unknown calls with Usage Controls. See details online http://goo.gl/TU18j at your convenience.
