Unknown Device - Device Instance Path (ACPI\INT33BD\1)

I have a unknown device in device manager. When I plug in my power cord to charge i get a black screen as soon as i unplug the windows screen comes back. Not sure if these are related or not.

Hi: I am pretty sure you need this driver.  The latest is for W8.1. This package provides the driver that enables the Intel SidebandFabric device. Intel Sideband Fabric Device Driver is a bridge tothe Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework. This package isprovided for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. File name: sp65474.exe I don't know if not having that driver installed is related to the black screen issue.

  • Unknown device in device manager after win8.1 upgrade W540

I'm using the W540 with an ultradock and external monitors. After upgrading my W540 to win8.1 64 bit, device manager is showing an unknown device. I'm not quite sure what it is, but almost everything seems to be working fine and Lenovo solution center isn't finding any driver updates.
I did notice that the solution center hardware scan did not test the video card memory and listed that test as N/A. Video and monitors seem to be working fine though and both nvidia and intel graphics show up in device manager.
Device manager lists the device in question as follows:
    Device instance path: ROOT\SYSTEM\0001
    Hardware Ids: root\iwdbus
    Device stack: \Driver\PnPManager

  • Unknown Device (code 43)

    Hello,
In the Device Manager, the following error is reported for the device "Unkown Device":
"This device has been stopped because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
In the device manager is faulty unit under "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and occasionaly reveals itself as a "USB Composite Device." After attempts for the driver software update it says: "The driver software is up to date."
This at the beginning seemed unusual and just a pop up every so often that was ignored, however now I am experiencing Blue screen shut down for a "USB_BUG_CODE_DRIVER" (I'm pretty sure that's the order.)
These errors occur even if nothing has been plugged in since powered on.
The device does not have a hardware ID, however if this helps: under device instance path it says USB\VID_0000&PID_0000\6&1F67DDD1&0&5

    Hi @ChaseHersh ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion g6-1028tx Notebook and issues with USB device has encountered an error. You could have something in the Universal serial bus controllers that is causing an issue. Here is a link to troubleshoot USB connections. I would uninstall everything listed in the Universal serial bus controllers list. Restart the Notebook after uninstalling.
Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices, as these could cause some issues.
    Hope it helps you.
    Thanks.

  • Qosmio X770 - Sensor bar and unknown device

    Hello,
a week after purchase I decided to replace the OEM Windows 7 Home Premium by Windows 7 Professional.
(I am a Student and I need the Professional version). Everything works perfect except the sensor bar. With the OEM Windows it worked well but yet it is not responding anymore.
When I open the device manager there is a unknown device. (Details: ACPI\TOS6205) I dont know what it is.
Hopefully I have explained my problem correctly. English is not my native language...
    Thanks

    Hello
With sensor bar you mean the illuminated buttons on your notebook, right?
Well for these buttons you have to install Toshiba Value Added Package that you can download on Toshiba driver download page. This package contains the drivers for the illuminated buttons, FN keys, etc. so you have to install it:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Download Drivers
ACPI\TOS6205 must be the Bluetooth device so install the BT software from BT portal:
    http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/

    Hey,
In my opinion this device has something to do with chipset and therefore you have to install the Intel chipset driver. You can download all drivers on official Toshiba website:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com
Check also the exact vendor and device ID in device manager to identify this device. The PCI database website can help you to do this:

  • Equium L10: Windows Vista Beta2 - unknown device

    Hi
I have a Toshiba Equium L10 with Windows XP loaded as default but I installed VISTA Beta2 "public release" on it and given that it's only a 1.5GHz Celeron CPU with 512MB RAM, it ran extremely well but, I have one problem which I am hoping that I can get help with from the users in this forum and especially those who have the same/similar Equium model as I have?
Ok, after installing VISTA I checked in Device Manager and noticed "Unknown Device". After checking out the info given in it's properties, I have detailed it below:
Location: Microsoft ACPI Compliant Embedded Controller
    Value: ACPI\ACPI 0001 * ACPI0002
When I re-installed XP again, I went to Device Manager/Batteries/Microsoft SMART Battery, the entry for Microsoft SMART Battery Subsystem has "ACPI\ACPI0002\6&28CA2229&0".
Notice the "ACPI0002" info given for the 'unknown device' in VISTA is the same info given for the "Microsoft SMART Battery Subsystem" in Windows XP. So I am left wondering if the unkown device under VISTA is the Microsoft SMART Battery Subsystem and if so, why did VISTA not install the driver for it?
Can anyone help with find a driver for the "unknown device" in VISTA?
    Regards
    Brave

    Hi
The unknown device appears because the driver is missing.
Unfortunately, at this time you will not find any Toshiba supported drivers for the Windows Beta2. This is a beta version and not official on the market.
I think if this OS will be official supported so you will also find the needed drivers.

  • Several Unknown Devices after Windows 7 Home Premium Reinstall

After losing all my data trying to encrypt my hard drive I reinstalled windows from my hard drive using HP's settings in the boot menu and got some weird results. One is that my C drive now only only has 65 gb of space, so I created a new partition with the remaining 215 gb on my hard drive.
