Unknown error -1 restore-error in iTunes, does anyone has a solution?
Hello
After the Battery was empty, the iPhone gave a Message activiation needed. After that a restore was needed. After i tried to restore i tot the message unknown error (-1).
Perhaps try the Error 1 or -1 advice from the following document:

Each time I try to connect to the iTunes store, this has popped up. I googled error (-3212) and also followed the steps on iTunes support. Since i installed lion, all programmes freeze. Does anyone has a solution?
At the moment my iMac is worse than my window laptops. I have reinstalled Lion several times, but without succes. I have also seen the coloured turning wheel too much with all my programms. Do you know a solution? Jaap

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Third-party system modifications are a common cause of usability problems. By a “system modification,” I mean software that affects the operation of other software -- potentially for the worse. The following procedure will help identify which such modifications you've installed. Don’t be alarmed by the complexity of these instructions -- they’re easy to carry out and won’t change anything on your Mac.
These steps are to be taken while booted in “normal” mode, not in safe mode. If you’re now running in safe mode, reboot as usual before continuing.
Below are four lines of text in monospaced type, which are UNIX shell commands. They’re harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. If you have doubts about the safety of running these commands, search this site for other discussions in which they’ve been used without any report of ill effects.
Some of the commands will line-wrap in your browser, but each one is really just a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then either copy or drag it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. The other steps should be taken as the user who has the problem, if different. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this paragraph doesn’t apply.
To begin, launch the Terminal application; e.g., by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search. A text window will open with a line already in it, ending either in a dollar sign (“$”) or a percent sign (“%”). If you get the percent sign, enter “sh” and press return. You should then get a new line ending in a dollar sign.
Step 1
Copy or drag -- do not type -- the line below into the Terminal window, then press return:
kextstat -kl | awk ' !/com\.apple/ { print $6 $7 } '
Post the lines of output (if any) that appear below what you just entered (the text, please, not a screenshot.)
Step 2
Repeat with this line:
sudo launchctl list | sed 1d | awk ' !/0x|apple|com\.vix|edu\.|org\./ { print $3 } '
This time, you'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You don't need to post the warning.
Step 3

Step 4

Important: If you synchronize with a MobileMe account, your me.com email address may appear in the output of the above command. If so, change it to something like “[email protected]” before posting.
Remember, steps 1-4 are all drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste, whichever you prefer -- no typing, except your password.
You can then quit Terminal. -

Since I updated to iOS 6 sometimes my keywords did not work.
I always have to restart my iPhone to have it work.
It's ridiculous to always restart my phone.

I get the message 'ITunes has stopped working' whenever attempting to open iTune. The problem Event Name is 'APPCRASH'. The Fault Module Name is iTunes.dll. The fault module version is 11.1.5.5. Does anyone has a solution?

This may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues, and restore your device on a different known-good computer. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -

Can't Sign In, Update Apps, Authorize etc... unknown error 0x80092013 iTunes 10.6

Within itunes if you select the menu item 'Help > Check For Updates' can you tell me the message that is displayed. I get message 'the itunes update server could not be contacted. Please check your internet connection, or try again later'. -
Unknown error in iTunes Store 11222
For the past couple of days when I've tried to sync my iPod, I've been getting a message "cannot connect to iTunes Store. Check your network connection and try again." Network connection checked. Even ran iTunes diagnostics to confirm that my iTunes was on the net. Passed with flying colors--even said that my iTunes was connected to the Store! But when I tried to connect, got the same message the first time, then on the second click received "unknown error in iTunes store 11222." I need some help here, or the iTune Store techs need to fix a problem. . .

I have spent the better part of christmas trying to get this to work without luck. I have renamed the host file, cleared dns, updated my firewall to assure that itunes is clear to communicate, assured that I don't have proxy server set, etc. I had Version 7 and never had any problems. This thing doesn't do me much good if I cannot purchase music, and it seems this problem has been going on for a while since I see posting from October. I can access any website that I want outside the Itunes application, so it isn't my web connection....any thoughts.

This worked for me yesterday.
Earlier iTunes (and supporting applications) need to be completely uninstalled before you can install the new version. Here's the complete Apple info on this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
Mobile device application will most likely fail to uninstall, so you would need to visit its location(s) and manually delete the files then folder(s). The location of the folders is documented in this link from Apple. -

Most likely a hardware failure, & if so, you won't be able to restore/activte your phone. If you've tried at least two times, & are still getting this error, make an appointment at any Apple store, or call AppleCare.
