Unknown error in itunes - please help!
I am experiencing problems synicing my ipod touch with itunes.
When I plug in my ipod and click sync it loads for a while and then comes up with a message saying "An unkown error has occurred (-69)"
Can anyone please tell me what this means and how to fix it, because everytime I have tried to click on diagnostics itunes has frozen?
I have also updated both the itunes software and the software on my ipod and still this problem is occuring.

This means that either your firewall/antivirus is blocking access to Apple's servers, or you have used your computer to jailbreak an iDevice in the past. The link above tells you how to resolve this issue. -

I have been given an Apple 3G which is in jailbreak. After restoring and updating my phone to get rid of jailbreak the iphone will not accept any updates or restoration. Unknown error 1015. Please help! I am new to all this and want to start using the phone legitimately.
I believe from the situation you describe your iPhone 3g has the iPAD baseband 6.15.00 which is interfering with iTunes. Remember Apple does not allow downgrade of software typically. The current 3g firmware 4.2.1 has a baseband 5.15.04 which is lower than, what I believe your baseband is of 6.15.00. So to install the current 3g firmware 4.2.1 would actually be a baseband downgrade, which iTunes will not allow. So to fix your iPhone you will have to search the Web like diesel vdub said. There are no parts to buy and your iPhone will work again I promise.

Itunes error -9808, an unknown error occured. Please Help!!!
I am trying to purchase music on itunes store and every time i try to log in I get the above message. I have followed all the apple and microsoft suggestions for remedies, I have removed and reinstalled itunes, I have laboriously connected and installed itunes on an old desktop which can access the itunes store fine (same antivirus on desktop as laptop), so its not my router causing problems. I am NOT a computer boff at all, but this issue has bugged me for 2 days. I have just resolved it by the following:-
1 Start Internet Explorer.
2 On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3 Click the Advanced tab. In the Security section, make sure that the Check for server certificate revocation check box is cleared, and that the Use SSL 2.0 and the Use SSL 3.0 check boxes are selected.
Click OK.
I had just reinstalled MSN Messenger could not sign in. Following their troubleshooting advice I completed the above actions and it resolved the issue.
I then tried Itunes again and it worked !! I have also downloaded a track and it plays fine!!
I don't know how or why it worked, but it did for me !!

Xml import error in itunes - please help
So I had to restore my computer to factory settings. Before I did that I read that I can save my thousands of itunes song ratings by creating a smart playlist for each rating and exporting them to xml.
I've since restored my computer and have added all of my music from my external to iTunes. When I try to import the xml files I've saved I'm getting the followging message 'Some of the songs in the file were not imported because they could not be found'.
Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? My music was always on my external hardd rive even before the restore and my path in itunes is conneted to my external. I have no idea what to do and am dreading the idea of rating thousands of songs all over again.

I get this everytime I try and sync my iPod Video (60GB). I've tried reinstalling iTunes, reseting and restoring the unit, changing USB ports, etc.
