MONO PKGBUILDs have a number of unique requirements. Have a look at some of the official ones, like Banshee itself, or F-spot, for example.

Unknown error -9813; no downloading allowed!
This is getting very tiresome.
I rarely use iTunes-and I use the store even less.
But I found a song I wanted to download and went and opened the ITMS.
when I click on a song, and then try to log in, I get an "unknown error -9813-make sure you have a network connection" well, since i AM in ITMS-I must have a network connection, yes?
If I try to open a new account-same error.
To top it off, I decided to play one of the 5 songs I had in my library, and guess what- not available!
So I go into user/documents/iTunes...hey,wait a minute! there IS no iTunes folder with library inside!
I rather doubt that I trashed the folder, so Im willing to bet that iTunes 6 or 6.01 did it. grrrr.....
I have QT 7.03, ive trashed .plists and did a permissions/keychain repair. nothing. As you know about permissions repair and suchlike I will guess that you have searched for files (or iTunes Library) on your computer or external HD (mine is on an external drive) to determine whether your library has in fact disappeared altogether.
I used to lose random music files on a fairly regular basis back in iTunes 4 and before but I have found that since version 5 things have been very stable.
Go to the Itunes preferences and click on the advanced cog wheel to see where it thinks your library is located. If it finds the library follow the path displayed... but if it isn;t there I'm not sure what to suggest apart from searcihng for individual music files... Search for m4p files to locate recent purchases. -
I am running Windows 7 (64bit) , and an error message appears following a recent update to iTunes v 11.1.2: "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. An unknown error occured (-3212). Make sure your network connection is active and try again." I have dug a little bit into possible problems but haven't found a solution yet, one note is that the network connection is OK. A response would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

My daugter was using our Ipad when the battery ran out. Having recharged it adn trying to swotch back on is immediately dosplays teh sysmbol for pluging into ITunes. When doing so the computer says it must restore the Ipad and update it. When doing so it fails, displaying unknown error 28 - looking at more info, it makes little sense other than a possible hgardware fault. This is on an orignal IPad with 3G and the operating system hasn't been updated for a while. Any ideas please. Mike

I am trying to make a time lapse video with Premier Element 13. When trying to publish it at about 15% of work done it stops and in a new screen it says an unknown error, what am I doing wrong?
Click on the blue Internet Recovery in nbar's post. That is a link to what computers can run Internet Recovery.
Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Reformat the drive using Disk Utility/Erase Mac OS Extended (Journaled), then click the Option button and select GUID. Then re-install the OS.

I am suddenly unable to make purchases. Receiving unknown error code.
For no obvious reason when I sign into Itunes Store to purchase a track I have started to receive the following message just after signing in
"We could not complete your ITunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-9808) There was an error in the itunes store. Please try later."
I have checked that my internet connection is set up as per the support manuals, but have made no changes to the system and was able to purchase last week.
Any suggestions?Yes, check your signal routing on your instrument track. You can always go into the Environment and check it there. Also make sure to read the "Getting Started Guide" for Logic Pro 7. Then you can buy all the Britney Spears dance tracks you know and love.
