"Unknown Error" msg. for Officejet J3640

My printer, about 6 months old, has always been unreliable. It refuses to print and it refuses to give me an error number or title. I have searched all the posts here in the forum, I have run a test page (all okay), printed a document from Word 2007 (sometimes okay), but it won't print my online bank statement. The printer has an LED but there is not a message there. My OS is XP, 3rd SP, and my computer is a Dell Optiples GX270. Help!

runs off a Windows 2000 server. We already have one NAL object for this
application which works fine. The new object I created is for a newer
version of this appliction.
I have compared all the settings, and parameters of the new object with
the old one and all are in identical. I am not entirely sure of every
registry or INI entry though.
On trying to deploy the object, the files and registry entries of the
application seem to get copied to a point from what I can see but then it
always ends up with this error: " Unknown error occurred for application
DelphiMV92.Woodbine.OJC (id=5 [5], 5[5]).
I did a search for this error off Novell's knowledge base but came up
empty.
Any thoughts about what could be the problem?
Will greatly appreciate any help with this.

I had the same type of error and found that the version of snapshot was different then the version of zen on our network. When I matched the two versioin the snapshot worked perfect. Hope this helps.

how can i hide the error msg for the mandatory fields when they are not entered?? when i don't put a value in a mandatory field and commit the form, an error msg occurs teelling to enter the value for that mandatory field, but the error msg is not friendly at all and i want to hide it.

I'll assume you are talking about ADF Faces + ADF Business Components application, since you don't mention it.
If you are talking about the pop-up Javascript dialog box that pops up, you can do the following:
1). Set required=false on those fields in your JSP.
2). Set showrequired=true on those same fields so that there is a visual indication that the fields are required
3). Ensure the attribute to which the fields are bound have "mandatory" set to true in the BC's
Now, when you commit the form, you will not see the Javascript pop-up, but you will see a message in the af:messages component.

Tried to update my iPad OS from iTunes. Frozen and got an "unknown error msg". I tried to restore the iPad to factory settings..got the same

I bought today a new iPad from Rideau Store. The setup guys didn't update to latest software version. I tried to do myself trough iTunes, which notify me that an upgrade is available. After a while the upgrading process froze with a msg "unknown error ..". I clicked on the More info button and I got a page saying "due to a scheduled upgrade of Apple's support system some feature are not available.
The bottom line is that now the iTunes does detect the iPad being in recovering mode and asks to restore it to fabrics defaults. I tried to do this and again I got aqn "unknown error"
Finally I run the iTunes diagnostics to check the connectivity between my iPad and my HP laptop (iTunes). For unknown reson the iTunes does not detect my iPad. See below the diagnostics log:

"Unable to Access" error msg for BI Publisher Report

Hello All,
I am getting the following error when trying to access a BI Publisher report from the dashbaord. We can access the folders that come with BI Publisher examples, ie Executives, Financials, HR Manager but not the "GTR" that we have created.
Privelleges are the same. The folders have the same rights too.
This is for OBIEE 10.1.3.4 with BI Publisher of the same version, running on a solaris box.
Any thoughts.

How do i fix unknown error (6) for ipod touch

I got an update for my ipod touch and after updating a error occoured. So i clicked ok and it sayd i need to restore and update it. It was the only option so i did that and after restoring and all the rest after it finishes an error pops up An unknown error has occoured (6). And ive tried multiple things. Ive tried holding home button and the sleep button and ive uninstalled itunes twice and re-installed it done all the apple suggestions to fix it but nothing works. Someone help me out.

Psc 2175 printer error msg for SD memory card

I inserted a micro SD card from my cell phone using an SD adapter in the SD slot of my 2175 all-in-one. The printer reads the card and comes back with an error msg. Computer runs XP.
Latest printer driver was installed. Put a std. SD card in and it works fine. Brought the micro SD in the adapter to store and put it into a new printer. It worked fine.
I heard HP 2175 has a problem reading certain cell phone microSD cards and developed a fix for this problem. Unable to find it.The Motorola Z6c cell phone supports JPEG as does the HP printer. HELP!

Ok, I tried to reformat it, on my Mac but when I do I get a Input/Output error. So I tried to reformat in my PC, when I try to there is a pop up saying "Please enter a disk into Drive F." SBL-DAT-00398 error msg for User Field Validation

Hi All,
I have created the following field validation on the User field "Division": Len([<Division>])>0 AND InStr([<ltValidation_OU_ITAG>],[<Division>])>0, As the "Division" field is free text, the porpuse of the validation is to prevent the user from entering in this field any value that is diffrent from the ones available in the custom field "Validation OU" via the User Owner Page Layout. The validation works OK for Admin Role via the User Admin Page Layout but a SBL-DAT-00398 error msg stating " Field '<Division>' does not exist in definition for business component 'Occam Current Employee' " appears when users with other roles are trying to update this field via the User Owner Page Layout.
I have contacted OD Customer support and they validated this in several POD saying this "is most likely a defect in the application" and a CR will be submitted to dev team to fix it sometime in the future.
I am wondering though if support isn't making life easy here stating the above...:
1. Anyone encountered this error before? (couldn't find any trace for this on My Oracle Support)
2. Anyone aware of field validation limitations for the 'User' entity?
3. Workaround suggestions are welcomed

Error(), fatal(), info() and warn() issue FacesMessages that get picked up by the MessageGroup component.
By adding in the uicomponent you can target the facesMessage so that it gets picked up by the Message component associated with the field causing the error.
But, to get the label to show the error as well, you need to throw a validationError. See this tutorial for more informaiton:

presently in our system for invoice posting we have defined check for RG Part II posting as WARNING only. I want to hav it as ERROR msg. That is untill user has done Part II posting, system shud not save invoice. I checked system msgs in SPRO> MM>Log. Inv. Verification--> Def Attrbuted of System Msgs, but I cud not find that msg there. Can anyone guide me where can I change this msg to error msg.

If your phone is still in Recovery Mode and you have been as yet unable to complete a restore becuase of this error code 56, I would use the troubleshooting in the following article, named:
Resolve iOS update and restore errors in iTunes
If that does not resolve the error here, I would next reset the phone with these steps and try the restore again:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Unable to open PDF portfolio (Error Msg: "For the best experience, open this PDF portfolio in...)

I am having a problem opening an important PDF portfolio document using Adobe Reader (version 11.0.02) for Mac (Mountain Lion version 10.8.3).
When I attempt to open the file, I come up with the error message: "For the best experience, open this PDF portfolio in Acrobat 9 or Adobe Reader 9, or later", and I am unable to view the document. This is becoming very frustrating, as I am attempting to open the document with the new version of Adobe Reader (which I have downloaded multiple times).
If anyone has a solution for this problem that would be very helpful!

ITunes 7 Unknown Error Msg (-200)

I have downloaded iTunes 7, but everytime I try to open it, I get this error message:
"The iTunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (-200)."
I don't know what to do! Any suggestions?

the -200 is caused by a problem with your QuickTime. (iTunes needs a fully functional QuickTime in order to work properly.)
the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.1.3 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1.3 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
Quicktime 7.1.3 Installers … get the one that doesn’t mention itunes
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

Unknown error 2131427532 for Premiere Pro 2.0

I am using Premiere Pro 2.0 and when my project appears to be just about done burining to the
DVD, an error message pops up: "Unknown error 2131427532." Does anybody know
how to fix this? Is there a better way to get my project onto a DVD (i.e.
export the movie and save it in a different format and burn it to a DVD)? Thanks.
