Unknown errors and continuous restore prompts
itunes won't sync with my ipod classic anymore. I constantly get various unknown errors (-50, -81, -80, 13010) and/or am told I have to restore my ipod over and over. Everything was fine a month ago, now I can't figure out what is going on. Please help.

Otherwise surf google you mite have to edit you host file in windows , system32

Hi. I need help regarding facebook for blackberry. I cannot post any status update, i keep on receiving an error prompt "the facebook server has returned an unknown error and is not able to fulfill your request. (2001)". it has been like this for the past 3 days. I already did the hard reboot many times, re-send service book though i do'nt think it's needed, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the facebook application too but still getting the same error everytime i try to post a status update. I can comment to messages on my wall and other profiles, the news feed is updating in time too, i can also log-in and out to facebook with no problem, as well as other applications on my phone like foursquare, BBm, ubersocial, BB protect, BB app world, etc, are all working perfectly fine. And now I don't know what seems to be the problem.
I've already contacted my network provider and told me that the error i'm getting is beyond their scope.
Is anybody having the same problem as mine?
Can someone in BB support team help me regarding this issue and tell me what should I do?

I've remarked one thing... On my facebook under "privacy setting/the Apps, Games and Websites" I used to have a "blackberry app" installed. It's not there anymore and I didn't remove it.
I don't know how to reinstall it... -
I tried to install iOS 8.1 on my iphone 5S, i did this through itunes and then i got a message that the update can't be done due an unknown error and that i have to restore my iphone and that will delete all my data.

- iTunes keep showing unknown error (48) while restoring my iphone 4s
- I've already re-install iTunes various times
- Already delete previously downloaded 8.3 ipsw and re-downloaded it countless times
- Changed and edited hosts in windows drivers as per shown on guides
but... to no avail!!!!

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

I cannot sign in to the App Store.
I changed countries a few months ago and updated all my account info and everything was working fine, until recently, while trying to upgrade my softwear to Mavericks, which I cannot do. My apple Username and password work fine on iTunes and on my iPhone. I can also access all my account info when I sign in through the website. It just will not work for the App Store on my Mac Pro.
When I click "Welcome" under Quick Links it asks me to sign in. I sign in with my Apple Username and Password and then it DOES NOTHING
When I click on "Free Upgrade" and then "Install" on the mavericks software, it asks me to sign in again. This time it says "unknown error" and then it says "We cannot complete your request. There has been an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)"
I''m completely blocked. I cannot procede without being able to update my software.
Please help me.

I am running OSX 10.6.8 and when I try to install the latest security update there is an unknown error and the update cannot be implemented. I still have to restart my computer each time I try. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
I tried using the downloaded update. It still didn't work but at least I did not have to restart my computer. The message was a little different too: "The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."Run through this list of fixes, either something is corrupted or you have malware that's blocking the update.

Since upgrading to os x maverick, my FaceTime won't let me sign in and continues to prompt me to put in my iCloud password. It sometimes asks me to put it in 5-6 times and then it gives me an error saying that the program certification is revoked or expired. How to catch date errors and continue processing in a PL/SQL procedure
I'm updating a date field with dates constructed from day, month and year fields. The incoming data has many instances of day and month that are not valid dates, ex 11 31 2007. There is no 31st day in November.
I would like to write a pl/sql script to scan the table containing these values and log the rows that produce conversion errors.
I thought I could do this with exceptions but there are no exceptions that correspond to the ORA-01847 error for mismatched day and month.
Here is what I tried (the print procedure is a local wrapper for DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line):

There are lots of different error messages associated with bad dates. Rather than try to catch them all, I use a BEGIN ... EXCEPTION block that contains nothing but a TO_DATE call. This is one of the rare occassions when I think "EXCEPTION WHEN OTHERS" is okay,

Reset your iPad and see if that helps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

When I try to update my macbook air to the new OS X Maverick it say unknown error and to please try again later. This has been going on for a few days and was hoping someone can help. Thanks.

Got it! Thanx. What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed. -
I found out what's wrong only because I still have an old (2010) Macbook Pro and it's Airport software gets the same error, but it tells me what the problem is and let's me fix it. The problem was I changed my AppleID password and it's apparently stored in the Airport Extreme. The windows version just says Unknown Error and offers Software Update, but there is no update. The problem is Airport Utility keeps opening and repeating this error on all Windows machines. If I didn't have the old mac there would be no way out. Please update Airport for Windows.
PS: I don't have a new Mac because:
1. Price is more than $1,000 higher than comparable PC.
2. No 17" laptop offered.
3. Can get a really good graphics card.
4. Limited availability of the really high performance Intel chips.
5. Price is too high (oh, yes, I said that already).You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.

After downloading it shows preapering for restore
then it quits saying Unknown error
Now the ipad does not starts.
It show only an Apple sign and a status bar.

I have upgraded my phone to 7.0.2 and had a few issues. I have tried to restore from a back and upon verifying the firmware rstore I get the error "unknown error occurred 2" can anybody help?
Error 1 or -1 indicates a serious hardware failure.
Take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement. -
