Unknown Mask relationships appearing in data

Dear all
I have entered some data in MapInfo and then copied the geometries to other rows using Oracle 10.2. Whilst checking the data relationships I came across the following relationship types, amongst others, in my data:
UNKNOWN MASK: 001001001
UNKNOWN MASK: 000000111
UNKNOWN MASK: 000000001
These must be data errors of some sort but I am not certain what they might be. When I made the table mappable in MapInfo, I set it up so that only regions could be created. This corresponds to SDO_GTYPE 2003 and 2007. All my data is of those types in my table.
I have checked some of the data in MapInfo, and it states that the regions have no problems. I have even attempted to convert a selected geometry to a region but still no luck. I even tried to see if SDO_UTIL.RECTIFY_GEOMETRY would work resolve the problem but it make no difference.
If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful.

It looks like I have hit the Oracle Bug 6011024, which you refer to. I am not certain which version of Oracle 10.2 I am using but it is earlier than patch 10.1.2.4. I have left this with my university supervisors.
I will of course look into the sdo_geom.validate_geometry_with_context() routine, as I had been trying to locate something like that, just to be certain I do not have any other unknown issues.

try to restore in itunes bye putting in recovey mode turn the ipod off press the home button and plug in the ipod into the computer. an itunes shuld see it in recovery mode and click restore. and that should do the trick.

Certain frequency artifacts appearing in data

Hi,
I've noticed in my measurements that there are two particular frequencies that always appear, regardless of what I'm measuring. I use a DAQ board (PCI 6010) to perform voltage measurements, and Signal Express to control and analyze the data. I use a differential measurement (between ai0 and ai8, I believe) to measure the voltage output of a piezoelectric (to prevent charging). I always see a noise signal - artifacts? - at about 4 kHz and at about 9 kHz. I've found that the input range that I select is extremely important, for instance, if my signal is 20mV p2p and I've chosen an input voltage range of +/- 5 V, there is considerable noise, with these two frequencies very prominent; if I narrow the input range to perhaps +/- 30mV, the noise is much reduced, but the two frequencies are still there. These signals have appeared in data that I've taken over many months, on various systems, and at different times of data, etc. - but they do not appear if, using the same piezoelectric, I look at the data with an oscilloscope.
I certainly could simply filter these frequencies out - I use the bandstop filter function to remove the 60 Hz noise, but in my research I'm interested in the frequencies that are excited in a system that are in this frequency range, and I worry that by trying to filter these two out I may also remove some important data along with it.
Is this a common problem?

Modelling 1:N relationships using Master Data

Hello All,
I was trying to store the Bill of Material data in BW and was confused as to how model this as master data. The bill of material is basically a BOM number with a number of components in it. i.e. a 1:N relationship between the BOM and the components.
I was thinking of modelling this by compounding the Component (which has quite a number of attributes) with the BOM.
But practically the scenario is such that, today the BOM contains certain components, but someone can delete a component later in R3. I want this information to be reflected as well in BW, but i suppose BW will not take care of this in the above compounding technique.
What is the best way to model such a scenario in BW. Is there a trick or is the only way to do this is do some checking in the update routines and then delete from the master data tables.
Please let me know your opinions.

Unknown User account appears on login page

Hi,
Recently on my Login Page an unknown user has appeared on my computer. When I go to administer accounts the unknown user does not appear.
It has it's own avatar too...a human shadow with outer space in back of it.
I recently set up a myspace.com account, but that should not have done it.
I cannot get this thing off my computer and I fear I am being hacked.
Can anyone help me get rid of this thing and/or explain to me what it is?

The root user should only be used for specific administration or monitoring tasks. After completing a task as the root user, log out of Mac OS X and log back in using a normal or administrator user account.
Disable root access if you do not use it often.However, if anyone does manage to hack into your machine, he can do more damage if there is an enabled root account (he still has to guess the password of course). If root is disabled, that's another barrier.

Looking at the cause,you can't use a format code like W in the date format for converting a text to date. To_date doesn't accept it.

FIrst of all you should stay with the date format. Instead of converting it into a string you could TRUNCATE it to the first day of the Iso-Wekk.
And to enable index usage you just have to put a certain range on your queries.
example
select *
from t
where col_date >= trunc(sysdate, 'IW') ;if col_date can hold values that are greater than syste. Or if you use another date value to compare than sysdate. Then you need to compare with a range. Just like this
select *
from t
where col_date >= trunc(sysdate, 'IW')
and col_date < trunc(sysdate, 'IW')+7 ;If you want to input a certain WEEK and get all entries from that week you can start with the first day of the iso-Year and add the number of weeks to it.
example using iso-Week 40
select *
from t
where col_date >= trunc(sysdate, 'IYYY') + 7 * 40
and col_date < trunc(sysdate, 'IYYY')+7 * (40 + 1);However calendar arithmetic is complex. We have to be careful for special cases. For example the beginning of the ISO-Year 2011 is the 3rd Jan 2011. So if we run this logic on the first or second of January *2011* we would get the calendar week 40 from *2010*. This is probably not what you want.
To take this into account we must make sure that we are using the proper year. There are several possibilities how to do it. In this case I choose to use the normal TRUNC to get the first day of the normal year (1.1.2011) then add a week and truncate again.
example

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

Mobile Me was withdrawn well over a year ago. If you still see Mobile Me in your system preferences it is because you have an old operating system.
iCloud has replaced mobile me, but you would need OS X 10.7.2 or better to use iCloud.

It got UNKNOWN MASK: 001001001 as result from a sdo_relate, 'determine' operation. Has anyone seen this before, what does it mean and how can I solve it. I tried to enlarge the tolerance, no effect.

I met this problem with 8.1.7 in the following query:
SELECT MDSYS.SDO_GEOM.RELATE(GEOM1, v_AREA_DIMINFO,'equal', GEOM2,v_AREA_DIMINFO) INTO v_OUT FROM DUAL;
If GEOMs are line and they are not equal, I got the message of "UNKNOWN MASK: 000011011'.
But it works for Polygon OR the case of both GEOM are exactly equal even they are lines.

no it is not hacked or jailbroken. well for the mean time what i did is manually select the network carrier instead of automatic. let me try what will happen before i reset my iphone. one more thing is there any free antihacked or antivirus app in the store? what would you suggest?

Unknown Error message appearing when editing Nikon D810 files on Lr 4

Recently bought a Nikon D810 and whenever I import files and have a play around with them Lightroom will freeze and then come up with the Unknown Error message. Just wondering if anybody else has encountered this and if so, what you have done to rectify it?

Then they must be using Lightroom 5. According to the list of supported cameras, support for the D 810 was added in Lightroom 5.6. I seriously doubt that any of your friends are actually using it in Lightroom 4 Unless they are using software to change the camera model in the exif data.

Page Numbers Not Appearing in Data Merge Document?

Hello, hopefully someone can help. I am pretty new to InDesign but learning a lot. I am creating a member directory of about 200 pages (about 2800 records merged from .csv to InDesign 6). Everything is working fine with the merge, except generating the page numbers. I tried adding page number at the bottom of the page to the master BEFORE merging. But if I do that, it greys out the "multiple records per page" option when trying to perform the Data Merge (using "Create merged Document"). So, I tried adding the page number to the A-master AFTER creating the merged document, but the page number is not appearing on any of the pages. There must be a way to do this, can anyone help?
(FYI - to generate the auto page numbers, I am going to the Type-Insert Special Character-Markers-Current Page Number, and placing that within a text field at the bottom of the page. Thanks in advance. )

Here is a screen shot. I have placed it on the A-Master. See Screenshot#1. Screenshot #2 shows Page 70 with no page number (and no other pages have page numbers that I can see. Thanks for your advice on fixing....
