Unknown Server error, again and again

I have to delete my ../OOBE/opm.db file every two to three days to get past the 'unknown server error' CC login. Is there a more permanent solution? I did all the updates.
This is really annoying. I open a file. I get a 'font not present' error because CC didn't sync my Typekit-fonts. Close file. Quit CC. Navigate to folder. Delete opm.db file. Open CC. Wait for font sync. Open file... At my hourly rate this is dubbeling the monthly cost of CC!!! I just need my software to work, especially at these rates! (Sorry for the rant, but this bug is getting on my nerves).

Hi enesbaskaya,
Opm.db could be found in user Library which is hidden in 10.7 or above. Please follow the kb: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html and try to delete opm.db.

  • Unknown Server Error - Warrenty and Parts

I am encountering an 'Unknown Server Error'.
When querying in the ThinkVantage > Help Center > System Information,
the 'Advanced' button operates properly, but clicking the 'Warrenty & parts' button returns
    'QueryInfoStatusCode() returned 500'
Clicking on 'Ok' returns 'Unknown Server Error'.
Anybody got a clue where to start

    Welcome to the forum!
You may want to try again tomorrow, parts of the system/site were down when I was trying to check some other stuff, and IBM personnel confirmed it.
    Good luck.

  • The upload has failed. An unknown server error occurred during processing. Please try again

I keep getting this message when I try to upload a folio "The upload has failed. An unknown server error occurred during processing. Please try again". It happens every time, some articles do upload but some not.

Thanks Automator21 I manage to upload most of my articles successfully by starting again the whole process. But I have 4 articles that I can't upload, all of this articles have big size videos (one 50mb, other one with 70mb, other with 4 small 30mb videos). I could upload those articles by taking the videos out, but I want those videos on my articles.
I use Adobe Media Encoder to compress the videos and they are not in high quality, for example the 70mb file is an 640x480 8 min. long video. And they are all with H.264 encoding and .mp4.
Do you know how can I fix this problem.
    Thanks!

  • Sign in failed - Unknown server error (-2) when trying to sign in to new playbook

I get the message "Sign in failed - Unknown server error (-2)" when I try to login to the Blackberry ID page of a new playbook during initial setup. This prevents me from continuing and using my device. A similar error message appears when I tap "Forgot password?" which is An unknown error has occured. Please try again (-2)
I have tried what others have done when they have unknown error (-6) which is turn off playbook and plug into desktop manager then update to reflash, but I continue to get the same error.
I know my BB ID username and password are correct because I can login to the web with them. Not sure what to do next.

Just to test the simple things first, did you try to sign in using another credential?
If only yours fails, then is a RIM issue, otherwise is indeed your Playbook failure.

  • Still getting "Unknown Server Error" when trying to log into CC Desktop App

Hi -- I signed up for the early access file/font sync and received my email saying "You're In..."
When I used the link in that email to download the CC Desktop App and when I launch it, I'm still receiving the error "Unknown Server Error" Sign in is currently unavailable. We are unable to access your account. Please try again later.
Anyone run into a similar situation or have thoughts on how to remedy this?
    Thanks in advance!

Solution 2 from this help article http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html should resolve the problem.

  • Creative Cloud - Unknown Server Error [OSX 10.8.4]

    Hi,
I've been searching the forums for a while and have not found a soultion to this problem.
When ever I try and log into CC to update my apps I get the following message:
"Unknown Server Error - Sign in is currently unavailable. We are unable to access your account. Please try again later."
I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, attempted to clear the cache but I cannot find the opm.db file anywhere. Even through a search.
    Can anyone help?

Alright. I was being a noob.
I was in the wrong OOBE folder. The one that the solution referenced is in the hidden libraries folder.
If anyone else comes across this probelm, here's how to access the folder: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html
    Thanks for your help KRupani.

  • Unknown Server Error - Adobe Cloud Manager

Does anyone know the "true fix" for those of us that have Adobe Cloud Manger -- and get this error "Unknown Server Errror" when they try to log in, you are denied access because it says to try later.
I tried all the fixes Adobe has offered at this link. And, it did not work http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html.
I called and talked to tech support who gave me a temporary fix:
They said, create a new User Account on my laptop, sign in as that user, then download the Cloud Manager again, Log in.. And Yes, VOILA it worked.
Then they told me to delete the "test" user Account after I  log in as myself agian -- and all would be well.
That's not exactly true. If you delete the USER account including all traces of files -- your are right back to where you were.
Which is, unable to launch the Cloud Manager under your original User ACCOUNT on your laptop.
I understand that I could keep the files from the alternate "Test User Account".
However, The thing is.. I pay a lot for this service, and I do not think that I should have to fix a bug that ADOBE should be fixing -- by creating a second "Test User Account" on my laptop.
Sorry for the rant --  with that said. Has anyone solved this puzzle? Thank you for your help.
I'm just sayin' Come on Adobe -- Really, Really, No Really.

ChripingCharlie I would recommend you attempt to adjust the file permissions on the folder containing the OPM.db file.  Please see Error "Exit 6" or "Exit 7" | Install log | Read, write, system file errors | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html for information on how to adjust your file permissions.

  • Unknown server error (30641)- BB playbook- when trying to create BB ID

unknown server error (30641)- During set up, it asks that you create a Blackberry ID for the BB playbook. Then it shows unknown server error (30641)- I plug it to my computer and download the Desktop manager which ask to update it. I did then it told me disconnect Playbook, install BB ID and plug into PC again. But I got server error again. I am stuck on server error. can you by pass the ID set up and get the BB playbook working and the ID thing after? The ID is not even some critical security feature that must come before the enjoyment of the product. I am really frustrated with my brand new device and my money is wasted. If BB has no fix for this I want my money bacck.

I've been trying since YESTERDAY to download the Photoshop trial and it keeps saying that an "unknown server error" occurred with the message: "Sign in is currently unabailable. We are unable to access your account. Please try again later."
    - Always when it happens I AM logged in on the website. It can't be a login issue
    - I have already uninstalled and installed again the Creative Cloud app
    - I have already restarted the computer
    - I have already signed out and in again on the website
    - I have already closed and opened the Creative Cloud window a thousand times
    - And I have already tried later
I don't know what else to do, and this thing is delaying my work.

    Hi.
First of all, sorry for my bad english. However, I hope you'll understand my question. Since a few weeks, I cannot sign-in in the adobe desktop-launcher to update my apps or download new apps. Even when I start it from within the browser the sign-in ends in the following message:

    Any ideas?
    Kind regards
    B.A.W.
