    SQL Server 2012 Management Studio attempting to log into a SQL Server 2012 instance on a remote server using SQL Authenticated login.
    What does this error mean and what can I do to fix it?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Nick,
    Have you seen any additionally information from Windows Event Viewer?
    Based on my research, exception code e0434352  is the exception code used internally by the CLR to represent most exceptions(*), it could mean anything. If you want to find out exactly what the real error is, please review this
    blog.
    In addition, in such case, Microsoft .Net Framework may need to be updated or repaired on your computer. For more details, you can refer to the following similar thread.

  • What is causing this error message? FlashPlayerPlugin_11_9_900_117.exe-Application Error the exception unknown software exception (0xc0000710) occurred in the a

    I keep getting this error message every time I open certain sites such as Facebook, Wayfair, etc. I have uninstalled Flash many times and re-installed it many times but keep getting this message.

    I had the same problem.
    I went through the troubleshoot and it's not the extensions etc.
    The Adobe Flash Player Plugin version 11.9.900.117 seems to be the problem.
    Flash still plays fine, just the pop-up happens and not sure why.
    If it's annoying you, try installing the older version:
    Uninstal this version (v11.9), and re-install the older version (v11.8)
    You can find older versions on :
    ''http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html''
    To test this, I installed this version :
    ''(Released 9/10/2013) Flash Player 11.8.800.168 (156.2 MB)''
    It downloads a zip file, which contains 7 files, I ran the file :
    ''flashplayer11_8r800_168_win.exe''
    And now the pop-up does not happen.
    ==================================================
    Note 1: I did this:
    :1: uninstall v11.9
    :2: open firefox (so I'm opening up firefox without flash)
    :3: go to youtube = a popup to install flash appears, click to install
    The version it offered was not 11.9, but 11.8 : strange! why not v11.9?
    : anyway, if you try to install v11.8 this way, it always fails
    ==================================================
    Note 2:
    This problem only happens on my main home desktop and does not happen on my other machines (which all are Firefox Sync-ed, so all running same extensions etc...)
    Strange!

  • Reader XI - unknown software exception

    I have Acrobat Reader XI on a Windows XP SP3 PC.
    When I open a .pdf file by double clicking on it, before Reader XI runs I get the following error in a pop-up window:
    The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x00411e0b. (The location address changes each time).
    From then on, I keep getting the same pop up appearing on top of other program windows even when I am not actively trying to access a .pdf file, but if a Windows Explorer window containing .pdfs is still open. It's even doing it as I try to type this....
    It seems random whether or not the box goes away if I click OK or Cancel.
    Bizarrely, every .pdf document I have tried has still opened in Reader XI fine after getting rid of the pop-up.
    I have uninstalled Reader XI completely (using the Windows "Add/Remove Programs dialogue) and reinstalled using a fresh download of the program from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5507, but there is no improvement.
    I have found several previous mentions of this error on this forum (and it is all over Google) but have found no solution that works for me so far.
    Please assist if you can.

    As there have been no other suggestions, I tried uninstalling Reader XI and went back to Reader X.
    Now that comes up with an error message in a very similar way, except the message now reads:
    "Adobe Reader X- There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found."
    It's infuriating when every .pdf I have tried DOES open and display fine, so these annoying error messages are actually wrong.
    But they still just keep popping up, even when I am simply working in another program, but just happen to have a Windows Explorer window open in the background showing the contents of a folder that includes one or more .pdf files.
    Surely someone from Adobe can advise????

  • Web.show_document unknown software exception

    I have this problem that occurs not in all machines. It occurs in machines with the MS Security patch that doesnt allow you to code javascript directly.
    The problem I have is that when I use just plain vanilla web.show_document (URL,'_blank) I get the error
    "the exception unknown software exception (0xe06d7363) occurred in the application at location 0x77e8f142"
    This causes all the IE windows to close.
    This happens only if the URL that I go to has some java applet that is used in the page. (It of course works if you just paste the same URL in a new IE window). A URL without any Java applet opens just fine.
    Again this is only in machines with the MS Security patch.
    I wonder if anyone has faced this problem at their end and if there is a workaround.
    Thanks in advance
    Sharat

    Frank,
    I too was convinced that the problem was with IE or Windows. After a lot of googling around I figured it out. Heres the solution for you guys out there if you ever hit upon the same problem.
    Its not the MS Security patch related either.
    I have a Java runtime environment installed on my machine (Sun JRE 1.5). This gets included in the IE Internet Options and is checked by default i.e
    Use Sun JRE 1.5 for <applet>
    This causes some conflict with the Microsoft VM causing the browser to crash. I unchecked the use Sun JRE 1.5 for <applet> and it works just fine now.
    The funny thing is that it doesnt happen when you go to the URL directly. It happens only if you get there via web.show_document !!

  • Unknown software exception CS4

    Hi there.
    Today i installed new Photoshop CS4 It launched ok but then when i create new document(new canvas), the error message appears:
    The exception unknown software exception (0x000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x78138aa0
    Then after i klick ok, program closes. I saw some posts regarding this issue but nothing about Photshop CS4. No idea what is going on.

    Could also be a buggy printer driver.

    Re: when i open a pdf i get the following error message -
    I can't figure out a solution. There seems to be no obvious behaviour that can specifically can re-create the exception. This exception occurs also if you're simply scrolling through folders that include a PDF. Even when Adobe Reader XI is not the primary PDF Reader....

    Hi,
    appears to happen randomly, but I bet it is not.
    For example when browsing a folder with a PDF in it, but not even hovering over it with the mouse, the error occurs. It also occurs when watching PDFs with PDF X Change Viewer for example. So something still must be calling Adobe Reader ....
    Quite frustrating when working with .pdfs a lot

  • Problems deploying PSE 9 with SCCM - "unknown software exception"

    Hy!
    I've read the Silent Installations Instructions in the Knowlage Base (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/861/cpsid_86149.html)  and tested it on a test computer with this commandline (install.bat):
    @echo off
    start /wait C:\PSE9\Setup.exe /UL1031 /V"SERIALNUMBER=1111-1111-1111-1111-1111-1111 COUNTRY=14"
    My "application.xml.override":
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

    SERIALNUMBER=
    DISABLEEMSFEATURES=1
    DISABLEOLSFEATURES=1
    WATCHSERVICE=0
    MANUAL=
    REBOOT=
    On a local Installation the Installation works fine without any Error.
    Now, I'm trying to deploy PSE 9 on 10 test computers using SCCM. SCCM commandline was: Setup.exe /UL1031 /V"SERIALNUMBER=1111-1111-1111-1111-1111-1111 COUNTRY=14"
    SCCM shows that the Installation ends with an error.
    I'd looked on the testclients and every Client showed an "unknown software exception" on setup.exe:
    "Setup.exe - Error in application; The exception "unknown software exception" (0x000000d) happend in application in place of 0x004195cf.
    Here is a screenshot of this errormessage:
    After I logged into the Client there is the Desktop Icon of PSE. I'm not really sure if the installation is finished successfully when this error occur.
    Somebody knows a solution?
    Big Thanks for Help.

    Sweet.
    Do you mean having photoshop open files? Right click on a photo, like a jpg, and then click on open with and choose PS CS4.
    If that don't work open Bridge, Edit, Preferences, File type associations, and choose Adobe Photoshop CS4 for each file you want Photoshop CS4 to open.
    Hope that helps. Let us know.
