Unknown symbol on home screen!

I have a yellow globe icon with a 1 next to it at the top of my home screen. does anyone know what it is, and how i get rid of it?

Permanent 1 unread message symbol on home screen

Hi!
I have a relatively new Blackberry Curve 8330 (I bought it about 2 months ago!) and the symbols at the top of the home screen (for missed calls, unread messages, etc.) had been working fine until a couple of weeks ago when the unread message symbol became stuck on the screen for some time now. I have gone through all my messages and even pressed "U" to find unread messages - but the following message comes up:
"No unread messages in list."
There seems to be no real reason for the symbol to stay popped up, since all of my messages have been read.
It's annoying me and I really want to get rid of the symbol, since there are no unread messages.
How should I go about this?

E72- Unknown icon on home screen

Unknown icon stays on my E72 home screen bottom right corner that looks like trash can with yellow envelope. Does Anyone know what that means?

To be quite honest i'm almost certain that my GF has hacked my iphone.
She knows multiple conversations i've had with people. I know this for a fact.
Now i've done lots of research on the matter and i can't seem to find a conclusive answer.
Lots of websites say that unless it's jailbroken it's impossible to hack an iphone and some other websites say it's possible.
She obviously won't say how she did it. From my understanding though she can see everything i do on my phone.
And no she doesn't have my icould password. I've changed it multiple times as well as the security questions.
So i was thinking that this icon might have something to do with it but i don't know...

Blackberry 8120 4.5 Earth symbol on home Screen

There is an 'earth' symbol (number 1 next to it) on my home screen to the left of the date and time, I've searched the tutorials but do not understand what and why it's there?

Open your Messages folder > Menu key > View Folder > Browser Messages (or maybe WAP Push messages) and find the messages, open or delete it.

Unknown icon on home screen

My curve has a vertical red line (at the top of the home screen) with the number 79 next to it. What does this mean?

Can you please check the Messages icon for unread notifications and see if it's there?

Strange symbol on home screen

About two days ago, a symbol I have never seen before showed up on my BB Curve 8530 homescreen. I have had this phone for about 2 years. It appears at the top of the screen next to where it shows an envelope and the number of unread emails I have. It looks like a white rectangle with a black dot in the middle, and then there is a red dot located near the upper right corner (the red dot hangs off of the rectangle, if that makes sense). What does it mean? How do I get rid of it?? I searched online and on my phone and have yet to figure it out. Thanks for your help.

That's a browser push message if it is yellow.
If it's blue, it's a WAP push message.
1. Open your main Messages folder.
2. Press the Menu key (left of the trackball).
3. Click on View Folders.
4. Click on Browser Push messages (or WAP Push Messages).

N70 weird symbol on home screen???

Pretty much, just under the battery indicator, i have a symbol that is like "___/" and then theres an arrow ontop of the diagonal line part!
I'd like to know what exactly it mean!!??

no buddy, when my i pod touch 4 is off i press its power button then it display a black screen in which there is an empty battery with red marking in side an,,
when i connect it with usb cable which i got with i pod touch....then itlike this in picture.. but after some time it get start to home screen with 20 % battery ..and no charging take place and no syncing take ....nor i tunes find it

I updated my 3GS. It goes through the updating process then at the end a box pops up that says my phone is in recovery mode and cant finish. My phone has lost everything and doesn't even have the home screen just the iTunes symbol. What can I do?????

I updated my 3GS to the latest OS. iTunes was updated first, when iTunes finishes updating my phone a box pops up that says my phone is in recovery mode so I click the update button and it goes the whole update cycle again. I unplugged my phone after 4 cycles of updating but now there is NOTHING on my phone, not even the home screen just the itunes symbol . I've tried rebooting my phone but there is still nothing there. I can not get the ringer symbol off of my home screen on a frequent basis.

I can not get the ringer symbol removed from my home screen on a frequent basis. I have tried pushing the volume keys and the mute button, but nothing helps.

Hold Sleep Button with Home Button toghether until it restarts Always it takes 8 to 15 seconds, after it restarts leave the sleep button and remember do not leave the home button it automaticlly switches to DFU mode.

I noticed that your HP Photosmart 470 photo printer screen has turned pink with two unknown symbols. Sometimes it will take you to the normal screen, but it will still not function. I am happy to help!

How do you delete a symbol from the home screen?

Don't ask me how, but I have added an unwanted symbol on my home screen. It is a link to a web page that I did by mistake.

Hold your finger on it and it will shake and have a + sign in the left corner.
Click that + to delete.
