Unless I don't clear any history my financial sites cant remember account numbers.

I used to be able to clear my history (clear all history) but did't have to re-enter account numbers each time I entered a site. After a nice geek fixed a malware problem (I could get emails but couldn't sign on to the internet using firefox, explorer, etc.) I can't clear anything without having to sign in each time.
I am really clueless about how to secure things.
I don't understand which items to NOT clear -- cookies, cache, etc. HELP!!!! The diagrams don't make sense.

Keep the cookies but clear everything else & it should remember
log in info.

That didn't come with Firefox4, something else installed that into Firefox.
Try the Firefox SafeMode.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

After I clear the history I have to re-log in (even "my yahoo" homepage) to certain sites and reconfirm my identity , and videos on web sites require me to download a plug-in that was previously installed .

On the days I don't clear the history, My yahoo opens up with me logged in. Also when I go to games sites or facebook, I am logged in. Not the case after I clear the hist. Also I am required to request an ID code via email and wait for a phone call to receive it so I can access my bank account after I clear the hist. Am prompted to "click here to download a required plugin" on sites I frequent with no trouble. I click and the plugin can't be found, and no info regarding which plugin it is. First time it happened, a different site had the same problem, but my click resulted in an automatic download. This time I gave up and used IE.

Well, after hours of trying to figure it out I gave up and un-installed and re-installed that last verion of Adobe Flash Player and now it seems I can play games again in Messenger. Everything else had been fine just that. I can only figure it was because it was having a hard time updating the first time and took me 3 tries. So even though it said it was installed, apparently it wasn't done correctly.
Though when I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first I looked and checked to see all the things were enabled that were supposed to be and they were.
I even tried to go to the Adobe site and download the last version I had and couldn't find it. Kept coming up with the new version. Others said if you download a particular older version it may not have all the security features in it.
This really gets to be a bit much, especially when you're by yourself and have only a smattering of knowledge of technical things.

I am using the newest version, and have done a clear recent history with all boxes checked

Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks. 
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar. 
This will open the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.

MobileMe in system preferences and Airport extreme don't recognize my password. The password and username are correct. I don't have any problem using ICloud and my Apple ID and account

When I try to connect to MobileMe in system preferences, it keeps saying that my password or username is incorrect. The same problem occurs on idisk.mac.com and when I try to connect to the hard disk connected to my AirPort Extreme. I don't have any problem to access my Apple ID account or ICloud. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Don't have any Apple devices, just want to backup my iTunes files from my PC.

It seems like iCloud is a way to do this, but it seems to require installation on at least one Apple device. If I download iCloud for PC and sign in, it says my acct is not an iCloud account and I don't see any way to make it an iCloud account.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.

Firefox will not display anything from Yahoo! correctly anymore. I get a skeleton text structure whenever I attempt to load any yahoo-based pages. However, they load in Opera fine. I've cleared all history from FF, with no results.

Update March 7, 2011:
I've managed to get it to work via fiddling with Adblock's settings and what I had it set to block for me.
It will load any other page I go to fine, but Yahoo! is a no-go. I've tried clearing all history, closing FF and then restarting it, but that didn't work. I attempted to open Yahoo! in my backup Opera browser, and it worked fine. This is a little annoying.

CTRL+H should give you your history unless you enabled "Clear Browsing History" in Options | Options | Privacy.

I see by your post that you are having issues with the print spooler on the Windows 7 computers.

Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
Try running the Microsoft Fix It Tool to see if it will fix the print spooler.
Diagnose and repair Windows File and Folder Problems automatically.
You can also run the System File Checker to repair corrupted or missing files.
System File Checker: Run sfc /scannow & analyze its logs in Windows 7 | 8.
You might end up having to do a repair of Windows.

I have exactly the same problem with my iPod touch 5. The Lovoo application hijacks me to the App Store constantly. It is a nightmare. This is disgusting.
