"Unlimited Anytime Plan"

On 1 October 2009 I took out the "Unlimited Anytime Plan". BT assured me that my calls would be transferred back from the Utility Warehouse, so that I could benefit from this package. Since then I have continued to pay the Utility Warehouse between £40 and £60 per month for my calls, because BT failed to cancel the calls with Utility Warehouse, and BT have continued to charge me for the same calls.
I am expecting a refund from BT for the 21 months I have paid them for this plan, during which period they failed to make sure my calls were with BT.

Hi garyclark and welcome
Hmm, I'm not too sure if you'll get a refund as BT will wonder why it's taken sooo long for you to report this, but miracles do happen. Also they'll possibly ask why you didn't notice that both suppliers taking are money from your account and maybe ask why you didn't contact Ultility Warehouse to ask why they are still taking money for a service they should no longer be supplying.
BT may have followed the correct procedure and it's infact UW that have not done so.....
The only thing I can suggest is to contact the BT forum mods via this contact form - http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951

  • Free Text Messages Unlimited Anytime Plan

    Hello,
I am looking at taking out the BT Infinity 2 broadband and adding the Unlimited Anytime Plan to the service. I was just wondering if anyone on here knows if I would still be entitled to the 200 free text messages per month by adding the Unlimited Anytime Calls plan as an add on?
I am referring to the below document.

this was covered recently and the answer was they are no longer included  https://community.bt.com/t5/Bills-Packages/Inclusive-text-messages/m-p/1445735/highlight/true#M49243

  • Unlimited Anytime Plan call viewing with paperless...

I have just had BT installed and was wondering if I can view my calls anywhere. I am on paperless billing and Unlimited Anytime Plan.

I too have the unlimited anytime call plan, after logging on to the BT website select the "My BT" navigation button towards the top right of the homepage. On the "My BT" Welcome Page you should see in the "Your Bills and Payments" section a button titled "View your recent usage", select that option. From there I am able to see/filter all the calls made irrespective of free or chargeable, you should be able to do the same, if not check the "show filter options".

  • Excessive monthy DD plus ignoring Unlimited Anytim...

Over the last three quarters BT have been increasing our monthy DD payments - the latest few have been £80.
Breaking down the monthly costs of my separate packages I get
    Line rental £13.90
    Broadband £28.00
    Phone - £25 over 3 months - call it £9 per month
Unless my maths is wrong this comes to £50.90, so why are BT taking an extra £29.10 ???
In addition we've got Unlimited Anytime Plan, but we are being charged for all our local calls - for example a 30 min call to a neighbour cost £2.50!

    Hi Mog_X,
I bet your mouth was dry after being on the phone for 9 hours!!!
Do you have online billing if so you could check your own usage, via my BT

  • Unlimited anytime package

    Hi,
I've just read BT's terms and conditions regarding the Unlimited anytime call package, it reads as below.  If I understood correctly does the fair usage only apply to 0870/0845 calls?
    Thanks
    http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=25502&s_cid=con_FURL_...
Unlimited UK landline calls are for up to an hour to numbers beginning 01, 02 & 03, after which pence-per-minute rates apply. You can hang up and redial before the end to avoid charges. There are exceptions like calls to the Channel Islands. See our terms and conditions for details.
Inclusive calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers – Inclusive 0845 and 0870 calls of up to 60 minutes duration (excluding indirect access numbers and dial-up internet access) available dependent on your Calling Plan: weekends only (with the Unlimited Weekend Plan), evening & weekends (with the Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan), or any time (with the Unlimited Anytime Plan). Fair use policy applies – max. 1,000 mins or 150 calls a month. If either of these limits on free calls is exceeded, BT will charge for these calls until further notice See Terms & Conditions for full details.

Yes, calls to 01 02 and 03 numbers are unrestricted unless you stay connected for more than one hour.

  • Re: Unlimited anytime call package?

I've recently upgraded to unlimited anytime plan as part of my broadband and calls bundle.
However in 'My BT' there is an inconsistency.
It says I am on Unlimited Anytime plan and the bullets suggest that I am only on unlimited weekends. See below.
    I'm now confused.
My understanding was that all calls from my main landline phone would be free.
    Is this correct?
    Unlimited Anytime Plan
Part of your Broadband and Calls bundle
    Your call plan
Unlimited calls to UK landlines from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday, for up to an hour
Inclusive calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers at weekends
Get BT privacy, BT answer 1571, and BT 1471 calling features at no extra cost

Hi there Donh and welcome to the forums.
The bullets you mention and show are unlimited anytime calls, if it was weekends unlimited only Sat & Sund  would be blocked out.
Don't forget free!! for up to an hour, redial after 55 minutes.  01 02 03 and 0845 0870 only and not channel islands.

EDIT   Ohhhh   I must have misread I see what you mean now there must be a mistake.
You could try online chat, find the link at the top left of the bills and call packages board.

  • Unlimited anytime call plan

    Hi,
Anyone know if the unlimited anytime call plan is still available without the 12 month contract?
    Spoiler (Highlight to read)
    TIA

    Thanks for the replies.
I have taken the plunge on the 12 month contract special offer with 3 months free, then it's as DS mentioned on a month by month basis. There's is one still listed in the terms and conditions for the 12 month rolling contract if you look start digging around, but I can't see the point when you get 3 months free with the standard 12 month contact.
    Laters,

  • Unlimited anytime calling plan and calling feature...

  • Still have unlimited data plan?

If you have been a responsible user like me and have not abused the "unlimited" data plan and are now given the choice of buying full price phones or getting the 2GB downgrade I have a question for you.  Since you are being treated like you are part of the problem why not become part of it?  I didn't, until now, stream videos or movies but since I have unlimited data I started.  I don't even care what the movie is as long as it is HD so it hogs more data.  I will do it until they kick me out as a customer.
My data usage is normally less than 2gb but going up.  I didn't anticipate ever using over 5 or 6GB in the next year or so but that is dependent on new applications.  Garmin now has smartlink for live traffic updates that uses data, I don't know how much it may use and before I didn't care.  I have had unlimited data since it was first offered.  I didn't do the videos and movies because I thought that if I burn through 60 to 100GB a month it would surely come to an end.  Stupid on my part!  How dare I think Verizon would give a **** about me for trying keep my data usage down but still pay for the unlimited just in case I went over.  So my reward is getting told they are doing me a favor by simplifying the plan by limiting my data to 2GB.  Or I pay full retail for a phone and keep unlimited data.  Or I keep the same phone and keep unlimited data.
So now I have a new plan, stream HD movies anytime that it is possible.  Buy old Razr's on Ebay and keep my unlimited data and burn all the data I can.  I am writing to the Public Service Commission of Nebraska regarding this and the regular poor customer service that I just quit complaining about in the past.  If they get enough complaints the Legislature will reintroduce the bill to give the State regulatory authority over the wireless carriers.  Will it fix anything?  Probably not but it will be another thorn in Verizon's side.  I will say anytime the State has gotten involved, even thought they have no authority, Verizon has fixed the issue because they DON'T WANT OVERSIGHT!
If you feel you have been slighted on the unlimited data plan write to your States Public Service Commission.  If they get enough complaints the wireless companies will have to deal with regulatory authority.  What are they going to do, raise the bill some more?  If so Walmart offers a cheap flip phone from Straight talk.  Not the best deal but still better than giving your money monthly to a company that hates it customers and looks for every opportunity to fleece them for every dime they can.

yes; just make sure it's a Verizon-branded phone with a clean ESN

  • Why did I lose my unlimited data plan when 2 co-workers didn't when they upgraded?

I recently found out that 2 co-workers updated their phones back in Oct. 2013.  They purchased new phones under contract on lines available for upgrade at that time.  After the purchase, they both switched the new phone to another line of theirs with the unlimited data plan.  They continue to get the unlimited data plan on these older lines even though they switched the new phones to these older lines.  I purchased a phone for my son back in Dec. 2012.  His line was not available for upgrade at that time.  I upgraded my husband's line with the new phone and then they switched it to my son's line.  I was told that I would no longer be able to get the unlimited data on my son's line now.  I asked why, I wasn't upgrading his line but the other line and they said once I switch the new phone to my son's line it automatically removed the unlimited data.  They told me nothing they could do because Verizon was trying to eliminate the unlimited data plans.  Dec. 2013 I went to get my daughter a new phone.  Her line was available for upgrade.  The Verizon employee also asked if I wanted to upgrade my son's line since it was available for upgrade.  I asked about the unlimited data and how I lost it on his line before.  I asked if I could upgrade his line and then move the phone over to my daughter's line and keep her unlimited data.  The Verizon worker told me no.  Said anytime you purchase a new phone, it will not allow the unlimited data to be kept, that any phone under contract removes the unlimited data even if the new contract is not originally purchased under the line switching to.  Both of my co-workers were able to to upgrade on one line, switch to line that still had unlimited data and keep it.  Why?  I'm so upset over this difference.  I phoned Verizon at the worker stated that it could not be done.  He was nice but could not understand how one was able to do it and I couldn't.  One of the people who did upgrade and kept the unlimited data said that the employee at the Verizon store told her that they couldn't do it that why--keeping the unlimited data because they would get into trouble and possibly fired.  She said she came home called Verizon and Verizon at the 800# did it for her.  I feel like I was done wrong--I should have never lost my unlimited data when I switched the phone to my son's line in Dec. 2012 nor my daughter's line Dec. 2013.  They did offer me the 6 gb data for my daughter at 30.00, but my son's could not be done that way since it had been back in Dec. 2012.  So I am being charged 30.00 for 2 gb.  I have until Jan. 15 to return her phone for a refund, except the 35.00 restocking fee.  I am thinking about doing this because so dissatisfied.  Someone needs to check into this matter...should be no difference in customers.  This is not hear say,,,,it came straight from the people themselves.  They know what they have--they have unlimited data and both received new phones in Oct. 2013 under lines available for upgrade and switching to line unavailable for upgrade at that time.  Some please help me to understand why?  If it can be done....I should be able to get it too.  Verizon should address this issue and treat all customers the same!!!!   Thanks

If you didn't get a subsidized upgrade on the line with unlimited data,  you should have been able to keep your son's plan and just activate the phone on his line. The line you used the upgrade from will no longer have unlimited,  but if you just had a basic phone on that line it wouldn't matter. I would return the phone, and then order a new one either online, over the phone, or in a Verizon corporate (not a "reseller" or "authorized retailer"). That is the only reason I can think of that you would have to lose the unlimited data. Also, be sure the contract/upgrade date is reset, before leaving the store if possible. I know sometimes the returns don't get processed and reported to Verizon right away, and you don't want to find out in a week or two that the return wasn't processed by the 15th. Good luck to you! :)

  • I have an Ipod1 with 3G and an unlimited ATT plan.  I want to get an Ipad2 - can I swap SIM cards so that my unlimited service will automatically transfer to the new unit?

I have an Ipod1 with 3G and an unlimited ATT plan.  I want to get an Ipad2 - can I swap SIM cards so that my unlimited service will automatically transfer to the new unit?

You don't actually swap the SIM card. For some reason, AT&T doesn't like you to do it that way.
    Go to:
    www.att.com/ipadlanding
edit payment information link...then update the following two fields:
    IMEI:
    ICCID:
You get this info from the iPad (1 or 2) select 'Settings' then 'General' then 'About'...
The IMEI and ICCID info is on that screen. No need to swap the SIM cards. This process outlined above transfers service instantly and does NOT change the plan type, billing, user info, or days remaining. Basically anytime an ATT customer wants to move a data plan the ATT iPad web page is all you need. No phone call!
It took me about 3 minutes and worked perfectly.

After a few phoncalls to billing they said it would be sorted when my next bill was preduced and that i would
"Not be billed for BT Smart Talk" ............ I was !!!!!
I now have to wait and hope the refund is on my next bill
Is any one else in this situation and what (if anything) can i do about it?

  • Who has the Unlimited Data Plan and has Been Speed Capped when You went over 5Gig?

Just checking to see how many others have been speed capped to 200Kb on the unlimited data plan when they went over 5Gig in a billing cycle? (you can get a one time reprieve if you call them at 1-888-483-7200)
Did they ask you to change your plan to 10Gig and Update your Equipment and sign a new two year agreement?
Did you know that Sprint is offering unlimited Data on their 4G network and that Verizon is trying to lock down customers that are not on 2 year contracts? (Gives them time to catch up with the competition) Marcus in Fraud and Investigation told me (when I told him that Sprint was offering Unlimited Data)  "...That is a better option..."
I am now looking into other options along with allot of the rest of you.

I was instructed to call that Fraud Department number and was treated like I had broken some kind of law instead of going over the 5 Gig fine print limit on my unlimited grandfathered in account. They would not even consider giving me a one time do over for being a MiFi newbie. I am hearing class action suit rumblings out there!!

  • How long does it really take to get my unlimited data plan back?

So Wednesday morning I go into a local Verizon owned-and-operated store to buy a Galaxy S5 on installment plan, like I did for my GS4 a year ago. Get talked into an Edge phone plan and the More plan, and they get that unlimited data plan off my line as fast as possible and then find that I can't get Edge for another 3 weeks. So we revert the changes (in theory), less than half an hour after the original change.
So I'm just standing there reading twitter and waiting for them to fix the situation and get me back to where I was when I walked in. I was actually willing to go ahead and buy a GS5 on installment plan (as I'd wanted to when I came in), but they *really* did not want me to do that. They got the voice plan back, and put me on a 2GB plan (which is 1/3 of my average usage), telling me I'd be back on my unlimited plan with hotspot service "by the end of the business week."
Today as I'm checking at the end of the business week, no sign of my data plan or hotspot service. The folks on the social media team tell me that my service might be crippled for another 10 days while an offline team tries to fix what the folks in the store broke.
Am I really out of luck for two weeks? I got a GS5 on T-Mobile with 5GB of data, which will get me by... TMO didn't seem offended that I wanted a GS5. But if I have to "be careful" with my data (as the store manager put it) on Verizon for two weeks, I may as well forward the phone and power it off.
At least I know never to set foot in this particular Verizon store again... last year they wouldn't sell me a GS4 "in case someone came in and wanted to upgrade" so I went to another nearby location. If my plans get unbroken, I'll either go to that other location or check eBay for my GS5.

Think of this and be amazed. If Verizon is trying its best to get customers off unlimited data by any means possible, and quite frankly tell you once you purchase any device on subsidy or the Edge program you lose unlimited. Now the Worry Free Guarantee states within 14 days if you change your mind you can pay a $35 restocking fee, and go back to your old plan.
However they no longer offer unlimited data so they give you this line of it has to be set back manually (inactive price request) and then it gets denied. Then they say it has to be submitted again for approval and then it gets denied. So why have a worry free guarantee?
And think to yourself, a plan they can remove in minutes takes them weeks to give back? They don't give it back. Search the forum.
    Good Luck
