I have been using skype to call home I tried several plans and most are not convenient and expansive I don't know why is unlimited calls for mobile and landlines to Saudi Arabia, and the calls are very expensive in compare.

Hallo I just activated my Premium account on skype and i noticed that i have unlimited calls to Latin America. Is there a way to change this and put instead of Latin America, Europe? I dont know under which category does Germany and Belgium come... but i would like to call both Landlines for free...

Unlimited calls to India Skype premium 12 months s...

Hi my wife using skype premium yearly subscription to call India. It will expire jan 2015. On current list of countries to call unlimited on premium subscription does not include India. If I renew her subscription before jan 2015 will she still can make unlimited calls to India.

Your account shows that your Subscription is monthly. If you cancel it you won't have the recurring charge applied at the end of your monthly billing cycle.

Subscribed to unlimited world premium (free offer)...

i have today availed of the free trial one-month unlimited world premium subscription. paid it with my paypal account just so the process of availing the trial offer can be successfully completed. However, upon successful grant of the free subscription, i tried to use it but unfortunately i cant call landlines and mobile phones as the message is "You need Skype Credit or a subscription to call landlines and mobiles from skype".
what seems to be not right in this picture? please favor me with your prompt response asap.

There are some restrictions to the types of numbers you can call or that are covered. You may want to take a look at this thread:

To avail of the free unlimited calling subscription to the country of your choice is only available during your Skype Premium purchase. Since you already made the purchase and was not able to add unlimited calling subscription, I'd recommend that you contact Skype Customer Service.
They will review the purchase if it can still be refunded and will help you further in making the correct purchase of Skype Premium with unlimited subscription to France.

Subscription for unlimited calls to US

Good morning, i want to buy the subscription for unlimited calls to US for a month, but i have some problems:
1. There it says that if i want unlimited calls on US mobile number i have to say that before i pay the subscription , but i complete everything i can not write anywhere that i want unlimited minutes to US mobile number. I am not interested in unlimited calls to landlines
2. I put the card number... and so on, but i can not make the payment it says to chech if i have money or verify my account, it can be possible this because i have a Master Card with LEI, not with Dollars or Euro

I just signed up for the premium service yesterday (I have had a "regular" Skype account for years) and seem to have the same problem. How do I link my newly purchased outside phone number and my new annual subscription together? I emailed Skype tech support about 24 hours ago and have received no reply.

Then why is it that it's only on the final stage of the subscription registration page (payment) that i am being suggested:
Call mobiles as well with Skype Credit (recommended)
Reach mobiles around the world at great rates.
Add C$7.00 of Skype-credit (one-time purchase)
What is it doing on that page if that does not actually allow me to call an international mobile number?
How do i check if my number is one of those 'special, premium and non-geographic numbers' ???

Unlimited Calls on Premium?

Hi I've just got premium through the Collaboration offer (free) voucher code. On the details about Premium it says i can call landlines free in the UK (where i'm from) with a premium account. How do i activate this? or can i just start calling numbers with the dialpad?

If your Subscription is current (check your account page) just call using your dialpad or Contact List.
The offer covers UK domestic landlines (not the very expensive UK "shared cost" UK landlines).

Premium subscription to call bangladesh

I was using unlimited premium subscription to call Bangladesh for last 3 months.I paid it through paypal for security reasons.When I purchased my last premium subscription at 12th of this month, i found that I been considered as a new subscriber.I purchase just after 5 minutes of subscription expires that is 12.05 am on next day.Now, skype offers me refund but denied to consider as an old subscriber.I dont know that they are going to cancell the subscription, its really frustrating. I am really upset with their customer service...

1. Please note that Bangladesh is no longer a detination on the Premium list of countries. To call Bangladesh you need either a specific Bangladesh Subscription of Skype Credit.
2. Electronic systems work in fractious of a second so 5 minutes is an electronic lifetime.

I have a premium subscription and I cant call landlines when I try it says must add credit or buy a subscription!!! Whats going on!!!!

Did you pick a specific country for your unlimited calling to landlines? If so, which country? And what number are you trying to reach (omit the last 4 digits - we don't need to see the full number).
The problems may be related to the number you are trying to reach. If the number is a mobile number, it would not be covered by Skype Premium. You'd have to either have Skype Credit on your account, or purchase an additional subscription to cover calls to mobile phones in a particular country (if a subscription is available for that country). The other issue may be that many countries have special classes of numbers that are not considered "landlines" in the context of any Skype subscription. These numbers are usually referred to as "special service" or "shared cost" numbers. They may be landline phones, but with different rate structures. Examples of these include 0845 and 0870 numbers in the UK and 13 and 1300 numbers in Australia. These special numbers are only reachable using Skype Credit. You can usually see what some of these numbers are when you look at the "pay as you go" link at the bottom of this page, and select specific countries.

If the phone you are trying to call has a UK number, that would be considered a call to the UK - even if that phone is currently in the USA. You would need to get Skype Credit or a subscription covering calls to that UK number (sounds like it is a mobile number, so look for subscriptions covering calls to UK landlines and mobiles). The location of the device is not relevant to Skype, but the location of the number you are calling is very relevant.
With the Unlimited USA & Canada subscription, you can call numbers in those two countries where you are dialing +1 followed by the area code and number. If the country code is not +1, you're dialing another country - and that is not covered by the subscription you mentioned.

I have Skype Premium active but I can't find the country where I can get unlimited calls. Is there a way for this to be listed on Skype website or the Skype desktop client?

All subscriptions apply to call forwarding. For example if your calls are forwarded to your mobile number in Japan, then you need a subscription that covers Japan: http://www.skype.com/go/subscriptions
Subscription should cover the number where you forward your calls.
Currently there aren't Unlimited subscription for Japan mobile, only landlines: http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/prices/pay-monthly/#JP
