Unlimited Calls to Africa

I checked through your list of countries where one can make unlimited calls to, and there is no sub saharan African country on it.
Don't tell me all the African countries are fraudelent (your reason for taking India off the list). Or is it telling us that Skype is not for Africans?

To be included in the "Unlimited" category a country must have a low domestic call rate. At present the domestic call rate in most African countries is too high for inclusion. As soon as this is reduced to an acceptable "unlimited" level the relevant country will be included.

Skype Connect & Unlimited Call Plans

We are currently using Elastix (Asterisk based) to receive and make calls in our office. Since we are already using Skype on our laptops, it would make sense to use Skype in the office as well. However, as a startup company with minimum needs, we need to keep an eye on cost.
I already browsed through the forum and it appears that people are using Skype with Elastix successfully, but what about the calling plans? Can we just sign up for Skype Connect and link to an unlimited plan to make outgoing calls? I am guessing that we would require one plan per channel?
I saw the call limitations for the unlimited calling plans, but we would never exceed the listed totals.

Unlimited world or other calling subscription available for personal accounts won't work for SIP account(Skype Connect). Calls using Skype Connect will use Skype Credits or the 5000 calling minutes to US (The only calling subscription for SIP).

If the phone you are trying to call has a UK number, that would be considered a call to the UK - even if that phone is currently in the USA. You would need to get Skype Credit or a subscription covering calls to that UK number (sounds like it is a mobile number, so look for subscriptions covering calls to UK landlines and mobiles). The location of the device is not relevant to Skype, but the location of the number you are calling is very relevant.
With the Unlimited USA & Canada subscription, you can call numbers in those two countries where you are dialing +1 followed by the area code and number. If the country code is not +1, you're dialing another country - and that is not covered by the subscription you mentioned.

It's shows $6.99/month but when I try to pay through cards it shows €4,99 what this means it's €499 or €4.99 please explane it, how much skype will charge? €4,99 or €4.99?

Skype Premium with Unlimited Calls

I have Skype Premium active but I can't find the country where I can get unlimited calls. Is there a way for this to be listed on Skype website or the Skype desktop client?

I did not disclose the e-mail address, because I made the corresponding reclamation and a proposal and they promised to publish a customer service e-mail address himself.

If your Powerbook's serial number (do not post it here) starts with "W8" then the vertical lines are mostly likely due to a defect in the display itself. W8 is a factory code and, during the iMac G5 and PowerBook G4 timespan, that factory shipped thousands of units with the same defect. It cannot be fixed via software.
As all PowerBooks are now classed as "obsolete," an Apple Store will not work on it. They will look at it ands tell you it has vertical lines and that they cannot fix it. This Apple article shows Apple devices they curently considered obsolete:

It is possible that some Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASP) will still work on older computes but they cannot get neededparts from Apple. As this issue was so pervassive, it wil be hard for you or an AASP to find a used/pulled display that is not effected with the "W8 Curse."
Although I love the old PowerBooks, I would not even spent the money for disks, much less the US$150-400 it would cost to replace the display, even should one be available.
If you give us a rough idea of where you are in the world, we can suggest repair shops specializing in fixing older Mac notebooks, but be aware those resources may be rather scare outside North America.

1. Skype does not have an Unlimited subscription that covers calling to Australian mobile phones. Only for Australian landline phones.
2. You would need to purchase two subscriptions if you wanted to have the benefit of unlimited calling to landline phones, along with avoiding the per-minute rates for calling Australian mobile phones with Skype Credit. Just purchasing the 400-minute subscription for both landlines and mobile phones in Australia does not provide for unlimited calling to the landline phones.
3. Don't expect to see an Unlimited subscription covering calls to Australian mobile phones any time soon, unfortunately. The cost of an Unlimited subscription for calling Australian mobile phones would be prohibitive.
Take a look at the per-minute rates for calling telephones at the "Pay as you go" link near the bottom of this web page. In most of the world, Skype does not offer Unlimited subscriptions for calling mobile phones due to the higher rates for calling those phones compared to landline phones. This is because of the "calling party pays" principle, and - for most places - the mobile providers are not forced to use the same rates for calling mobile phones as is the case for landline phones. Look at the rates for calling mobile phones in the USA or Canada - two places where the costs for calling mobile phones is the same as calling a landline phone. These places also don't use the "calling party pays" principle for mobile phones.

Combination of unlimited calls to landlines and 60...

Hi, I have two subscriptions on my sky account: unlimited calls to landlines to italy and 60 minutes to cell and landlines to italy. Unfortunately if I call to landlines my skype account uses a 60 minutes subscriptions and I found me in a situation that I have no free minutes and I cant call cell phones. Is there any possibility how to manage this two subscriptions and call with unlimited calls when I want to call landline and to use another subscription if I need to call cell phones? Our subscriptions are set to automatically renew everytime they are about to expire. If you only want your subscription for 1 month and do not want it to renew automatically, you can cancel your subscription by following the steps below:
1. Sign in to your account here: https://secure.skype.com/account
2. In the Account details section, click Subscriptions.
3. Click Settings next to the subscription you would like to cancel, then click Cancel subscription.
Once your subscription has been canceled, it will still run until it's expiry date. Please refer to the private message I sent regarding the expiration date of your subscription. You can find the link to your mailbox on the top right of the community
Also you may notice that the charge for automatic renewal of your subscription is taken 3 days before your subscription expires. This is to ensure that your subscription renews without any problems. And in case there is any problem with your payment, you still have 3 days to correct it.

In order to call Israel landline you need a subscription from Skype, which you already have, but yes, you don't need a mobile operator to use Skype in WiFi zone. Same app is used on iPod Touch that doesn't support GSM calls over mobile operators, but it works with Skype since it can use WiFi.
Something similar to Tango and Viber, but as far as I know Viber doesn't let you call landline/mobile numbers, only other Viber members.

I was on the unlimited calls offer for a while not but I am going on holidays therefore I want to keep my normal credit, when I topped up today I realised that I got the 10euro offer automatically, how do I get rid of it?

That is a plan that you need to fully delete so that you just keep your credit.
I can delete that for you from here but then you'll lose the amount of days you have left. Best to do is to call Customer Care maybe a day before you leave so they can cancel it off completely.

You have a different issue. Your current version of Unlimited World does support calls to India and you are calling from Australia - a country which does not block Skype calls. We need more specific information from you:

Skype discontinued the Unlimited India subscription in August, due to high levels of abuse. Skype now offers 4 subscriptions for calling telephones in India (60, 120, 800 or 2500 minutes/month). Since this was just discontinued recently, I would not expect Skype to resume offering the former Unlimited India subscription.
If you have contacts in India that have Internet access, you could encourage them to sign up for Skype accounts. Then you could have free Skype-to-Skype calls with those contacts, including one-on-one video chats.
