'Unlimited World 1 month' package- Major problems!

Hi i recently purchased the 'Unlimited World 1 month' package from Skype for $13.99 but I have been unable to make use of this subscription as it keeps telling me to put more 'credit' in my account. This has been a frustrating time as I do not understand why I need credit when I have a subscription??! As a result, I was unable to make a business call yesterday and trying to speak to someone is also like looking for Kryptonite because it seems as though it is not possible. I do not know how to activate this package or whether I have to do something differently, but I want the service that I paid for to work.. and NOW!! Please help me out ASAP!

First of all, you can verify that you have the subscription enabled on your account.  Log into your Skype account from this web site (use the "Account" link at the top of this page).  When you log in, you will see the subscription(s) that you have.  If it is not there, you will want to contact Skype Support and see why you don't have what you paid for.  Skype's apps on mobile phones and portable devices (i.e., tablets/iPads) don't normally show the subscriptions, so the web site is probably the best way to confirm that. 
If you have the subscription, and Skype is still asking you for Skype Credit to place that call, you are calling a phone in a location not covered by the Unlimited World subscription.  Even with that name, it only covers calling to phones in about 40 countries.  Of those countries, it covers calling to landline and mobile phones in 8 of those.  For the others, it only covers calls to landline phones.  Also, calls to special numbers in many countries (like 0844/0845/0870 numbers in the UK, 13 or 1300 numbers in Australia, to name a couple) are never covered by Skype's subscriptions.  Those always require Skype Credit. 
Please click on "Subscriptions" below and look closely at the Unlimited World subscription listed there.  You'll see a link that shows the countries - and the types of phones for those countries - that the subscription covers.
