Unlimited World coverage - But unable to call to T...

Hi Skype,
I have recently subscribed for Unlimited countries Landline with first month free - trial.
I checked the coverage covering Taiwan and Hong Kong. When I tried to make a call to a Hong Kong phone number, it works fine. However, it did not work and I was asked to purchase Skype Credit when I tried to dial a Taiwan phone number.
What is the reason? =(

Hi,
I have a unlimited world subscription and for some reason I'm unable to call to one of the countries that are in the list (Brazil), the phone I'm trying to call is a landline. Do I need to re-subscribe so the new countries for the unlimited world subscription works with my account?
BTW, I am using the format: +(country code) (area code) (number)

Unfortunately, as you initially purchased your subscription before the new countries were added, the destination Brazil is not included into your subscription.
What you can do is repurchase the subscription from the webpage, this way when the new subscription period starts (after the old already active subscription is over), the new subscription will be working for you.

Unlimited World Coverage but can't call vietnam

AUS.
I bought the Surface 2 Pro and it came with the skype 1 year Unlimited Coverage Pacakage.
Calling local in Australia works.
But when I want to call a landline in Vietnam, it says i'm out of 'skype credits'
Does this not work for vietnam ??

Subscribed Unlimited World Pack but can't call

I'm from India. I subscribed to Unlimited World Pack but whenever I tried calling someone in China, its saying the user is busy. I called the person using my cellphone and found that the user was not busy at that time. Whenever I tried calling, the same userbusy message is coming. Can anyome please help me with this?

Please in your email/chat include the exact number you tried to call and time & date of the call.

I have the unlimited world subscription but I couldn't call any mobile or landline , and I contacted the customer support and she told me that it's because UAE is partially blocked in UAE ...
But Now I heard in the news that Skype isn't blocked anymore in UAE .
I tried calling again , but still didn't work .
Could you help me out please ?

Your call history currently shows that last call was almost 5 minutes and it was covered by your subscription:

It seems subscription is working.
I did notice that you tried to call also Brazil & Venezuela mobile numbers, but these are not included:
www.skype.com/intl/en/prices/pay-monthly/#UnlimitedWorld
For these numbers you need a different subscription or Skype Credit.
If you still have trouble calling destination that is covered by your subscription then please provide exact call date/time/number to customer service and they can look into this.

My Unlimited World is not letting me call German m...

I work for a German company and communicate with my friends there via mobile phones. I purchased Unlimited World with the primary thought of calling them with Skype. In the description of Unlimited World is says you may call any landline or mobile. Without this feature, it is overkill for me to have this subscription. There seems to be no Skype person or number I can call to sort this out. Any clever answers out there for me?

Skype premium with unlimited world account but cal...

I've been subscribed to Skype premium with unlimited world for a long time now, then just got an email a few days ago, saying I got a free upgrade, and now I can't make any calls - tells me I have to 'buy credit' every time I try making any call I used to make included in my package... What happened?? I'm very frustrated.

I am Premium subscriber and received the email saying free world access but when I try to ring Italy it asks for a payment. Do I have to activate something? Any help would be appreciated

Skype Unlimited World won't let me call UK mobiles...

Hi All,
I was under the impression that Unlimited World allowed me to do this, but every time I try, it tells me that I need a subscription (which I have!) or skype credit to call them!
This is a recent (3 months) problem and I had been using Unlimited World for ages before that with no problems at all in this respect.
Am I doing something wrong/ is there a fault with Skype? Can anyone help at all?

I' m not aware of the plans changing, it's possible you had a different plan in the past. The Unlimited world plan does not include UK mobiles however the Unlimited Europe plan does.

Unlimited world subscription but no facility to ma...

Hi,
I want to set up a skype phone account so that calls can be made to any landline/mobile that are FOC within my subscription. However, I also want to make sure that no other calls can be made outside of this subscription list i.e. to any numbers that would incurr a further charge.
Can anyone help me understand if this is possible?

Hi Andrew,
If you purchase Unlimited World and you don't have any Skype Credit then you can't call to any other number that is not covered by your subscription.
Bottom line is that subscription only covers calls to numbers that are included, in order to call anywhere else you need Skype Credit. As long as you don't add Skype Credit you have nothing to worry about.

Skype premium active but unable to call

Hey Skype -
I'd love it if you all had a number or email address to contact for customer support. Digging through multiple levels of links to find a place to post a question is frustrating.
I purchased skype premium and it reads as active on my account, yet when I try to make calls to a phone number, it says that I have insufficient credit to make the call, which from my understanding shouldn't happen.
Any suggestions?

The Unlimited World subscription does not cover calling to any Indian telephone numbers - landlines or mobiles. There are subscriptions specifically for calling to India that cover calls to both landlines and mobiles. There are subscriptions for a fixed amount of calling per month (60, 120, or 400 minutes) and an "unlimited" plan (subject to Skype's fair-use policy).

Unlimited World issue

Hi,
I have been using Unlimited World off and on for the last couple of years. I used it for the last 30 days (and the larger part of the last year), and the 30 days is now over. I am attempting to re-charge my account, but running into an annoying 'issue'.
When I attempt to add more credit, I am only offered a monetary amount to add, I am not offered to re-up the unlimited plan. When I go to the Unlimited World offer page through this website, I am ony offered to try a free month. Upon clicking that link, I am told I have already used my month, but am not offered a way to continue using Unlimited World.
I start a lot of international travel tomorrow and it is a necessity I remedy this problem before I leave. Is there a link I am missing?

I have exactly the same problem, Unlimited World for years, I tried the same, to re-up my credit to call to mobile phones numbers not included in my Unlimited World Subscription but that fails 10 days ago, I didn't try it again since I still had credit, but today when I am calling to a phone number covered by my subscription I realize that my subscription was canceled without any notice, expending all my skype credit. and now I am unable to restore my subscription.
