Unload widgets from memory (iPhone 6 16Gb - iOS 8.0.2

Hi guys,
I'm still getting acquainted with my new iPhone, and when I look at the processes running, I notice several widgets that I know I'll never use (Stocks is one of them).
I'd like to know how to unload them from memory, and prevent them from loading again if/when I need to restart my phone.
Ideas, anyone?

If you get someone to reply to you, please let me know too. I have the similar problem. Thanks.

I am using an iPhone 5 (16GB) iOS 7.0.4.
Currently the size of the mail app is 1GB and is continously increasing, even though the advanced settings in the mail account have been set as following:
MOVE DISCARDED MESSAGES INTO:
Deleted Mailbox
DELETED MESSAGES:
Remove: After one day
INCOMING SETTINGS:
Delete from Server: When removed from Inbox
The problem that I am facing is that only a few emails reside on my iPhone as I keep deleting emails, which are also deleted from the server automatically because of the settings as above, which is perfectly fine. The emails are deleted from the Mail app and only a very few of them are visible which I have not deleted as yet, and all is fine till here. The problem is that the size of the Mail app is more than 1GB and is continously increasing, when i check the size of the Mail app in the Settings > General > Usage section.
When I search for an email that has previously been deleted from the search feature by swiping down in the main page, it still comes up in the search, and upon clicking the searched email, it takes me into the Mail app, however, the mail is not there. I have tried searching for emails which were deleted weeks ago, and they still come up in the search feature, however, they DO NOT open in the Mail app when i click them within the search feature in the main page.
Up until a couple of months ago, the size of the Mail app was about 5.2GB and at this point I had no space on my 16GB iPhone 5, therefore I resetted my phone two months ago, and after a complete reset of the iPhone 5, the size of the Mail app went back to 0.3KB (like it was brand new out-of the box); however, within a matter of two months the size of the Mail app has now exceeded 1GB and is continously increasing, as I receive alot of emails which is why I delete them on daily basis and even delete them from the Trash folder (mailbox).
I have read alot of blogs and even checked with other friends using similar settings on the same model, however, I just cant seem to figure this out. I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this issue as I dont want to have to reset it again after another 2-3 months.
There are practically only 14-15 emails on my Mail app with not alot of KBs for these emails, and the trash folder is also empty, but the size of the Mail app is still not reducing. Please help!!

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
Also consider deleting and reinstalling the Mail Account in question.

Try settings/general/reset/reset network settings. If that does not do it then contact your carrier

HELP!!! iPhone 5 (16gb) IOS 7, Very laggy on apps/games.

iPhone 5 (16gb) user, I installed IOS 7 yesterday. Everything went well until I played Temple Run 2 and Ninja Slash. I checked my friends iphone 5 (32gb) if he's experiencing the same problem. I played the same app/game on his iPhone and surprisingly it was smooth with no lag.
as of the moment, I'm experiencing overall lag. Homescreen, assistive touch etc.

First try a Reset: hold down the Home and sleep buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.
If that does not help connect your iPhone to your computer and Restore it from your backup.

Notes from My iPhone 4 (Running iOS 5.1.1) Sync as Blank Files in Mail on 10.6.8

Hi.
I have a perplexing problem that I have not seen discussed anywhere. With my iPhone 4, running iOS 5.1.1, syncing notes in Mail results in a stange blank Notes document appearing in the Notes sidebar in Mail. The Notes look like a yellow sheet of ruled paper, as they do on my iPhone, but they open to reveal no information other than their names.
Once opened, they disappear from my list of Notes, and upon the next sync via USB cable from my iPhone to my Mac, the notes also disapepar from the phone. When opened in Mail, the blank and useless no-longer-a-note Notes will not close unles I quit Mail. I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. In Mail, I've tried both listing the Notes in the Inbox, and as their own separate group. Neither work.
The Notes never synced well with any of my iPhones, and are a real pain now. I've taken to doing what I did before the notes were syncable (in Tiger), and enter items in my Address book so that they last through syncing. I've also trashed the Mail .plist file and reconfigured Mail, but that had no affect.
Has anyone encountered this issue? It is beyond frustrating, particulalrly because Mail deletes the Notes. Thanks for any feedback. ;-)

Same here. It is a major flaw to have the sync process permanently delete material without any user input or notification.

How to unload QTVR from memory?

I have 15 QTVR movies in an external cast. Each is loaded
from a Flash button menu to a QT sprite(2) using 'showvideo', and
replaces the movie currently loaded to the sprite. Is there a way
to unload the previous QT from memory before the new one loads?

See if it helps to delete the firmware file and download a new one:
Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw)
iTunes uses "ipsw" files to restore your iPod or iPhone. If those files are unusable, then try deleting them, renaming them, or moving the file to a different directory. This will cause iTunes to download a new copy of the IPSW. When a restore issue is specific to a user, it is likely due to an unusable .ipsw file. If removing the .ipsw file does not resolve a user-specific restore issue, then the issue is caused by other user-specific security software settings or iTunes preferences. Creating a new user will also cause new .ipsw restore files to be downloaded in the new user. You can find the ".ipsw" files in these locations:

VZ iPhone 5 w iOS 6.x not receiving messages from ATT iPhone 5 w iOS 7

I have an ATT iPhone 5 with iOS 7. My wife has VZ iPhone 5 with IOS 6. She cannot recieve any text messages sent from my iPhone. She does get messages sent from my iPad with iOS 7 and from my Macbook Air with 10.8.x
When i turned OFF iMessaging, I was able to send a text message to her via regular SMS.
Any ways to help??

I forgot to say that Settings / General / Restrictions are disabled and Settings > Safari > Clear history, cookies, cache done and the problem is still here...

How to unload MC from memory?

While running my app I need to create and kill MCs rapidly.
Now I use "stage.removeChild(...);" Is this method removes created
clip from memory, or they still stuck somewhere and eat my precious
memory until it runs out and hang player?

There is only mention I've found that's the removed MC must
not have any other reference to it, then it will be placed in GC
and disposed of. So the other question appears: How to monitor MC's
references? Some times it's really hard to keep in mind all of data
structure of an application. So, is there a way to get referrers
from an Object?

I cant delete music from my iphone since downloading iOS 7 i have tried synching it and making sure that i only download checked songs bt still wont get rid of them..can anyone help?

I wonder if you are seeing your iTunes in the Cloud purchases. The items you see with the iCloud icon next to them are purchased songs that you can stream from iTunes in the Cloud. You can hide these songs in Settings on the iPhone:
Just show music that’s been downloaded from iCloud: Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music.

If there are just specific songs you would like to hide, you can hide them using the iTunes Store on your computer:
To hide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
From the Store menu, choose Store > Sign In, and then enter your Apple ID and password.
Go to the iTunes Store.
Click Purchased from the Quick Links section on the right side of the iTunes Store.
Choose a content type by clicking on Music, TV Shows, Apps, or Books from top.
Hover your cursor over the item you want to hide.
You will see an "X" either to the right or left top corner of the item.
Click the "X" to hide that item. A confirmation dialog will appear once you click the "X."
Once you hide the songs on your computer, I recommend quitting and relaunching the Music app on your iPhone. You can find more information about hiding purchases here:

If the songs do not display a cloud icon next to them, try deleting them directly from the iPhone using these steps:
Tap the Music app.
Tap the Songs category.
Swipe left to right over the song you want to delete.
