Unloading Images from Photo Gallery

How can I remove an image from the stage when the next
thumbnail is clicked? I tried removeChild as you can see in the
code, but it removes the last thumbnail. Otherwise it works. Only
problem, it removes the last thumbnail!!

Yes, the thumbnails are being loaded by 'imageLoader'. I
tried changing the name and a variety of other things and the same
thing keeps happening. Either the FullSized images load one over
top of the other or, if I overcome that with removeChild, the last
thumbnail disappears. If it is not the code, as you
suggest,"...that code isn't removing your thumbnail..." Then what
is. Because it's definately happening! Thank you again.

If you like to set the default file format of the file you Edit in Photoshop CC thorugh Lightroom then perform following steps.
Lanuch Lightroom and go to Edit> Preference(Windows) Lightroom>Peference(Mac)
Click "External Editing" tab
Change the option for "File Format" to PSD as deafult format for Edit In Adobe Photoshop CC
Click "Ok" button

I had no trouble finding the "Export" tools in the "File" menu. They are greyed out when no photo is selected, but they are functional after selecting one or more photos.
I agree that it would be nice to have the "Reveal in Finder" option back, but they probably don't want us mucking about inside the Photos library structure.

Photos 1.0 not showing all images from Photos Library.photoslibrary folder/file after update install

I installed the update that changed my iPhoto to Photos 1.0, and the new Photos program is not showing all images from Photos Library.photoslibrary file/folder (not sure to call it file or folder since it is actually a folder with all my pics but it acts more like a file) after update install. The Photos Library.photoslibrary file/folder shows to be 55 gb in size, and it shows to be loaded into the photos program, but there are maybe a few weeks of pictures showing instead of a few years. Lots of pictures in the 55 gb are not showing for some reason.

No - iPhotos has not replaced anything - it is new and an addition - iPhoto is still on your system in the applications folder and still works just fine
Outlook is not supported by Photos - not sure if the support must come form Apple or MS as Photos uses a different interface to external packages than iphoto did

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

Saving images from Muse gallery.

My client has recently addressed an inquiry to me. He was trying to download images from any gallery-page on the website that i designed from him: http://www.andreyisakov.com
It is a simple gallery created with a lightbox slideshow widget.
However, it is only possible to save the entire webpage, i.e. the gallery as a whole. There seems to be no way to save a single image (tried in Safari and Chrome both on Win and Mac).
Does anybody know the solution to the problem or a workaround making it possible to save images from Muse gallery?

Users can save the image displayed on page with a right click action > save image.

Adobe muse - how to upload images in photo gallery in the admin console?

Question from Adobe Muse beginner - I can't figure out how images can be uploaded in a slideshow/photo gallery in the admin console? I can edit or delete images but not upload additional images?

Can't load images for photo gallery

This is my first stab at using Spry and I've run into a small
problem. I can't get my images to show up for the thumbs or the
large image. And when I read the article for this I only got more
confused.

Sorry for the confusion.
You can do either. It depends on how you structure your XML.
The most flexible way would to just have the image name in
the XML file. That will let you change your folder structure
without having to update the file.
So your XML can say:
<photos>
<photo name="pic1.jpg" />
<photo name="pic1.jpg" />
</photos>
And your <img> tag can be:
<img src="gallery/{@name}">
{@name} is the data reference for your data set which
contains the image info.
But, if you have the full path in the XML:
<photos>
<photo name="gallery/pic1.jpg" />
then your img would be <img src="{@name}" />
Either way, the full path has to be built to the .jpg file.
The first way is probably better...
In my gallery tutorial, we start out with one gallery. But
later on, we expand it to use multiple galleries. We use one XML
file to tell use the image directory:
<galleries>
<gallery>china</gallery>
<gallery>egypt</gallery>
Where we can use these values as folder names.
Let me know if this helps. I don't want to give too many
unnecessary details that might confuse the issue.

ADD A LINK AROUND MAIN IMAGE IN PHOTO GALLERY

Can anyone help with the code for this. I need to add a link
to each image as it appear in the spry photo gallery. Each link
would be different and set in the xml file can some one help
please. I can't figure this one out.

How to delete photos from photo gallery on iPhone 5

I just bought an iPhone 5 and I transferred my photos from my HTC Evo Shift when I got my phone. However, some photos transferred more than once and I cannot delete them. There is no trashcan that appears in the bottom right corner of the screen when I tap on the photo. The only options that appear are to share the photo or put it in a slideshow. This is the same for all my photo galleries (photo gallery, DCIM, and downloads). Anybody know how I can delete these?

When I go into camera roll and select ALBUM bottom left I can see EDIT top right. Tap on edit and tick photos you want gone and then tap delete bottom right. Same happens for photostream. Also you can go to settings/general/usage then phot & camera and swipe camera roll left to right to ge tthe option to delete the whole roll. Same for photo library and stream

Downloading Images from a Gallery

Just having a mental blank.
I am creating a SWF to be placed on a CD with a gallery
section.
Once an image is loaded from the gallery, I would like the
option of downloading that file to their computer.
All images will be contained in the same folder as the SWF.
Any suggestions??????????????

Uf you are using the default galleries that come installed with LR then this cannot be done as there are maximum sizes associated with the galleries. Indeed you wouldn't usually want this as it would make breeching your copyright only to easy. There are galleries, such as TTG Highside Pro, which will do this and a lot more whilst ensuring that the end user pays.

Launch Maps from photo gallery

With my previous E52 running Maps 3.04, I could do this:
1. Open photo gallery.
2. Select a photo with geotag and view it.
3. Select Option/Show on Maps and it will automatically launch Maps and show where that particular photo was taken.
4. Select navigation and drive.
But I seems to be able to do that with the N8/Anna.

E6 Belle is included in list of devices for Nokia Maps Suite 2.0. Personally I had to un-install this from N8 Belle after "Search" within it ceased to open, but this maybe isolated issue as had not updated "Search" update offered by Nokia Suite at that time. As I live in the "boonies" where Places widget and Public Transport stand-alone apps are superfluous, it just uses up phone memory to little purpose.
