Does anyone know how to unlock an iPad app without the already purchased option?

Or do you mean how do you unhide an app? You hide apps from the purchased tab so I am taking a guess here.

Depending on the content type, open the App Store, iBooks, or iTunes Store on your device.
Scroll to the bottom of the main page.
If you're not already signed in, tap Sign In.
Tap your Apple ID name, then tap View Account.
Scroll down on the Account pane, and tap Hidden Purchases.
Locate the item you would like to unhide then tap the Unhide button.

Have you asked on the kindle board? since it's their app that's messing up they may have more specific advice.

Movies are not part of the automatic downloads feature. Apps, music and books only.
If you live in the U.S. you can download many Movies again for free using the same Apple ID that you bought the movie with. If you do not live in the U.S, that feature is not available. Not all Movies are available at this time either.
You can transfer the movie to iTunes on your computer and then sync it to the iPad if you like.

How do I sync iPad and iPhone without getting all the iPad apps on the phone

iPhone 4 tried to download all the iPad apps when syncing today. But of course overloaded the phones capacity.
After deleting from the phone and syncing they were all reaload to the phone again.
After disconnecting, went into iTunes, selected iPhone and when I selected one app to delete I got the message that this app would then be deleted off all devices. I would have thought that the iPad and iPhone options at the top of itunes window would highlight apps for each device especially as the two lists are not the same.How do I keep iPads apps on the iPad And iPhone apps on the iPhone?

Connect one device to iTunes.
Select what is desired to sync and sync.
Eject the device.
Connect second device to iTunes.
Select what is desired to sync and sync.
iTunes will remember what to sync to each device based on the device name/id.
Be certain to uncheck the option to automatically sync new apps with each device connected.

Only seeing iPad apps in the store-categories

I ran into the following problem. Since a few minutes ago I only see iPad applications in the appstore when selecting a certain category. When I'm on the 'home-page' of the store everything looks normal. I can click iPhone apps that are in the top10 list for instance. But once I select any of the categories (from the menu above), like 'Photography' or 'Books', I only see a few iPad apps. Can't seem to find a button or something that lets me switch back to iPhone apps.
Btw, I'm using the european store.

Ok, found it already and posting the solution here because of the sheer stupidity of the way Apple didn't seem to think of this occuring...
The US store has gotten an upgrade in the sense of a nifty button on top that allows you to select either "Iphone" of "iPad". But the European store doesn't have that... I bet you can figure out where this going, right?
This morning, my friend, who has a US account logged in on my iMac and set it to "Ipad". He logged out, I logged in. Now one way or another iTunes remembered that he had set it to "iPad" and showed me the iPad apps in the European store. WITHOUT the button to set it back to "iPhone".
My friend logged into his account again, switched it back in the US store, I logged into my European account, and all is right with the world again...
Well, except for the fact that Apple didn't see this problem coming from a mile away...shame on you Apple.

I had the same problem. Go back into Verizon Tunes. At the bottom of the screen you should see 3 dots. Touch them and that will bring up additional choices, one being Downloads. In the Downloads choice is 2 bars. One bar is Pending Downloads (aka Music Inbox) the other bar shows your download history.

When you go to Starbucks, you'll need to first go to Settings on your iPad and choose Network. You'll see ATTWIFI as one of the available networks. When you click on that to select it, you should be immediately sent to AT&T's sign in page. You just need to check the box that says you agree to their terms and conditions and then hit the Connect button and you'll be online. One warning, however. If your Starbucks is anything like those in Manhattan, be prepared for really slow wifi. It can be a real pain waiting for pages to load sometimes.

Hey - we're building an 'app' using Adobe DPS plugins in indesign, and I have a fundamental question:
When publishing a single issue iPad app to the Apple App Store, is there any way to do away with the Adobe-imposed content viewer skin? We have enough wayfinding and interactivity built into in the folio itself - we would like to get rid of the extra chrome surrounding it. (see below) Is this possible?

We are not licensed for the Oracle Advanced Security Option and I have been tasked to use Oracle Network Data Encryption in order to encryption network traffic between Oracle instances that reside on remote servers. From what I have read and my prior understanding this is not possible without ASO. Can someone confirm or disprove my research, thanks.

As for Network Encryption - Oracle FAQ (of course this is not Oracle official) "Since June 2013, Net Encryption is now licensed with Oracle Enterprise Edition and doesn't require Oracle Advanced Security Option." Could you clarify this? Thanks.

I add the keyword 'sync' to any photos I want added to the iPhone/iPad.
Then, during the regular process of syncing the iPhone/iPad with my computer (mac), the photos with that keyword would be copied onto the iPhone, iPad.
I've been doing it this way ever since I was shown how to; ie after I got my iPhone 2 years ago. And every time the process worked - until the last few weeks. Suddenly it doesn't do it any more.
I believe I have upgraded software (either iTunes or iPhoto or both) during this period. I try to keep my software updated but have noticed previously that the new version often is disappointing.
I've not tended to use Smart albums much.
