Unlock button broke In my c7

Hi,
Can anyone from nokia kindly help me with this problem!!!!!..
My C7's unlock button got jammed and when i tried to get it unlocked it broke and fell apart. I visited a Nokia care center and they informed that i have to change the whole body order to get the small button fixed, which is estimated to be around 2500 INR. Kinda ridiculous coz that might otherwise cost me not more than 200 INR.
Well i tried to sending the query to contact us from the site they don't respond well rather they send some automated mail.... i dunno whether i made a mistake of being loyal customer to Nokia coz all my phone now and before were of Nokia's.
Please suggest what can be done or whom should i approach.

Wait for another day to see if nokia get back to you they have many enquirys to deal with daily.
This may come down as cosmetic damage but if its under warranty you might be lucky.

I've had my iPhone 4 for just under a year now and a couple weeks ago the lock button broke. At first, it was just difficult to press down and now it's just completely stuck. I've been using the assistive touch but it's kind of a hassle. I still have a few days left of my one year warranty, so if I went to the Apple Store would they fix/replace my phone for free or would I have to pay? Also, I was having issues with my speakers previously so I went to get it fixed and they said my phone has water damage and I would need to pay to fix it. Will the water damage effect them fixing my lock button too or is it different? Any advice/guidence is greatly appreciated!

If there is water damage then they will likely conclude that your issues are a result of that and you will have to pay.
But don't ask us, ask them. We're users and this have no idea what Apple will say in your case.

A simple press on the home button should always get you back to your 'app-menu'. If this is not the case there is a problem. It is possible that your button is broken. Maybe you could try first to install the latest iOS version through iTunes if you haven't done already. Or try to reset your iPhone by pressing the power button a few seconds and then Slide to Power off.

Why doesn't unlock button work? I use Arch64, GNOME, Slim.

Unlock button not working in My Employees service

Hello,
Under My Employees service, when I select an employee and clicks on the unlock button. It gives me an error saying navigation not possible.below is the screenshot for the same -
We have recently activated new business function HCM_ESS_WDA_1. How do I make it work or how do I hide that.

Lumia 520 unlock button

I bought my Lumia 520 not far from release date, and two months later i had a unlock button problem but i thought it was just software and i reset and it didn't change and because the Nokia care centre is far from me i had to use the cam button to unlock my phone, then it would work and stop. It once stopped working for a whole week so i switched it on using the charger when it was off due to battery. On the 21 September it stopped working completely, it has dropped in after i tried to press it while on the charger. What do i do from here? And why are so many people complaining about this phones unlock button?

My unlock button got to the point where it does not work literally 80% of the time. I've dealt with it throughout the past couple of months and I've been too lazy to lazy to go to the apple store.
I was planning on visiting the apple store about this issue and I've been told that I would be able to receive a brand new iphone 5 as long as I'm still under the warranty. I purchased the iphone 5 last year sept 10 (pre-order) and got it on Sept 21 i think....so I'm not sure which date is when my warranty will be over.
Is it possible if I can get a new iphone 5 and trade that in + the difference of iphone 5 and 5s and receive the 5s?
Just wondering. If I cant, then I guess I will stick with the iphone 5 for another year.

Droid x unlock button gash

I have currently had the droid x about a month now and I have been trying to protect it in every way including seen screen protectors and a case. I was deeply sadden to see my unlock button key with a gash on it. Has any one else notice this? Is there a way to fix it?

haha...SHAC, i think you miss the point! His concern isnt about functionality it's about aesthetics.
I will say, i have had my X in a case (which i just removed because i like the feel better w/o a clunky shell) but there is a tiny, i mean as small as a pinhead little dot where the paint is missing on the edge of the phone. I spent a week looking for a way to color match it using sharpies or touch-up paint. Which, I did! I spent a week and 20 bucks to cover a tiny pin head sized "dot" of missing paint.
Funny thing about all this is, my wife slipped and took a header....I don't remember if I even asked if she was OK!!

I bought my iPhone 5 in Malaysia and now I am in Moscow, my phone's lock/unlock button isnt sensitive since last week. Since it is still under warranty, can i send it for repairs here in Moscow? But we dont have any apple stores here. What should i do? Can I still get it repaired in Moscow for free? How long does it take to repair this?

You need to return to Malaysia for warranty service.

Palm Centro Unlock Button

The key unlock button on my Palm Centro has ceased to work. The only way to access the phone is to remove and replace the battery then use it before it goes to the sleep mode. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and how did you solve it?

No, I have not installed any new software lately. I started having the Keyguard problem a week or two ago and it was intermittant. It would not work at all for several hours then would start working normally for a few hours. About the time I was ready to give up on it, the Keyguard would start working again. Finally, two days ago, I could not get it to work at all and had to recycle the battery to get to the phone to turn it on or off or make a call. That is when I did some research and found out how to disable the Keyguard function. It appears to working normally now except that the Keyguard function is disabled. Do you think I should do a hard reset?

do you still have one year warrntee? if yes go to apple and ask them if they can fix it. My power button (unlock button) doesn't work either and i can still turn it off and unlock, lock, to turn it on without power button is simple press home button and put in passcode and open settings app and goto general > Accessibility > assistive touch and click the off thing.

guys today my n97 unlock button fell off ...i did google search and found out thats a common manufacturing defect in n97 ...so please can anyone tell me any solution for this thing...this phone is really getting on my nerve now..

Same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago (phone around 5 months old), sent in the phone for repair via my service provider and was advised that the repair failed there quality check and they gave me a new handset
Therefore if its still under warranty i recommend you get it repaired as it should be done for free.

Hey guys, probably guessed from the title, but yeah my unlock button is playing up.
I know why this is, I dunno if yas have done it but if ya take the front panel off from the phone, there's 2 sensor things, well my unlock button sensor has worn down. Resulting in me having to press down hard to unlock my phone.
I was just wondering if anyone new the proper technical name for these sensor things. Just so I can buy some new 'uns.
