I'm Phil, i have a cell phone nokia 6300 on SFR network in french.
I have called my operator for unlocked my phone but he say me, "I don't have this code sorry in your db"
Yet I bought my telephone in the SFR network
Help do you know a solution for my problem ?
Where do I contact if my provider can not help me?
In france unlocked phone is free after 6 months subscription.

If a phone is factory SIM-locked, then the restriction codes are provided with the phone when it is sold to the network and/or retail chain. Most networks don't treat this information with any priority, so they usually end up having to reapply for it from the manufacturer, which is why it takes several weeks and costs the consumer money.
The manufacturer (be it Nokia or any other) will have the information archived, as faras they are concerned it id dead information relating to a piece of equipment that left their responsibility some time ago. The manufacturer may ONLY divulge the information back to the network in question, they cannot give unlocking info directly to the consumer, which is why it is so maddenning that so many networks tell their customers to "Ring Nokia/SE/Whoever"...

Globe telecom iphone 4 unlock code not provided by the carrier

I called my carrier asking for the unlock code because my 2 year contract for my iphone 4 has expired. I even offer to buy the unlock code from them as I want a legal way to unlock my phone 4. The customer rep told me it is up to the manufacturer to provide the unlock code but having read from apple's website, I told them only the carrier which was globe telecom can request apple for the unlock codes. Then the rep told me they are under no obligation to provide the unlock code. My question is , this is an old phone and the home botton does not even work anymore what I want is a legal way to unlock my phone from my carrier. How can I legally unlock my phone if my carrier Globe telecom Philippines won't provide or even let me buy the unlock code?
I don't want to jailbreak my phone I want to unlock it from this carrier. My contract is expired I want freedom to switch to other carriers!

Sorry, you're out of luck, as Globe does not offer unlocking for the iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, & there is no such thing as a "code".
Only the carrier an iPhone is locked to can authorize the phone's official unlocking. There is no other way to get any iPhone officially unlocked. Whether carriers offer unlocking is strictly up to them, unless required by law. In you case, Globe has chosen NOT to offer unlocking.

if you haven't changed the security code then the unlock code should be the same....

Don't Cut-and-Paste "unlock code"!

After getting the unlock code via email I tried numerous times to cut and paste it into the Unlock Code field provided but the "Unlock Now" box remained greyed out, leaving only the "Edit Without Registration" button available. Frustrating.
Solution: Don't copy-and-paste the code. Type it in. The "Unlock Now" button will no longer be greyed out, and you can complete the process. At least that worked for me.

That exactly what I have. I type textually from the e-mail sent by Adobe, all in caps lock on, as included instructions say, but nothing: no "Unlock now" available.
What else can I do?

The user name is not the B&N username, but the name on the billing address. And the credit card number used for the purchase is the unlock code, not the default user credit card.

It's good to read Antoniad's post. It reassures me that I can use my new iPad as an international communication device which is the reason I purchased the thing. However, I called Verizon today (my provider of cellular data) who told me that I can't just pop in a SIM card as you suggested. He also said that he was from the "Pre-Pay" division of Verizon and he was certain that I couldn't do what I planned to do. I was extremely disappointed as I had called Apple prior to buying the iPad and I read the algorhythm on the website for choosing an iPad before purchasing. Those sources were quite specific and the information seemed clear. I would be able to use my iPad to communicate through cellular connections while traveling on the road, literally, abroad. I was told that I could pop in a data card wherever I was, just as you indicated in your message above, and voila I was good to go. The Verizon rep definitively rained on that parade, but said that I might be able to do this if I have a "Post-Pay" account, a different area of Verizon. I haven't had the chance to talk to this division yet, so I looked to Apple's Support for answers. Maybe I will find out that I can use my iPad as an international communication device while traveling on the road afterall, however, it appears I may need a different type of account (Post-Pay), something I was never warned about. Can I switch to this kind of account? I don't know. I have to find out. If you have any information about this issue, it would be good to share since I strongly suspect there are others who bought the iPad for the same purpose that I have.

That's not how unlocking an iPhone works.
The carrier the phone is locked to submits a request to Apple, wh updates their database. When that is complete, you restore the phone with iTunes to process the unlock.

If you are talking about the ancient Photoshop Album Deluxe, that is an obsolete, unsupported program.

I got unlock code from 3 network for n70 but not ...

U will need to have the fone flashed to open it back up to use ure unlock code again

Forgotton unlock code - restore not resolving issue

I cannot remember the screenlock code for my iphone 4s and as I have entered it incorrectly too many times. I have attempted to restore the phone via itunes (as advised in other similar posts) however when restoring it gets to a certain point and then comes up with the same error warning indicating that cannot restore iphone and need to enter passcode. Entering a passcode is not even an option anymore as iphone states 'iphone is disabled - connect to itunes??? It seems I am riding a fun little merry-go-round; I plug into itunes and attempt restore and it states 'cannot access iphone please enter unlock code' (or something to that effect, cannot enter unlock code as phone is disabled and states 'connect to iphone' ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGG
As u can probably tell it is driving me apples!!!! (ooops, banana's)

According to the thread linked below, you will need to either A) restore the phone from the last computer it was synced to (not just any workstation) or B) restore from DFU mode and lose all the content on the phone.
