NOKIA Lumia 625 display resolution problem

My phone Nokia Lumia 625, with Windows 8.1, is changing it's resolution from normal. Therefore on my display appear icons and everything bigger. No possiblity to answe the phone and see who is calling, because of large image.
All the apps working ok. I have to restart phone every time) UNPLEASANT.
Please tell me if i have to take it to repair. It's still in warranty.

I am unable to update my Nokia Lumia 625 to Lumia black update. Its been several months since Lumia black update has been released but still I am unable to update it. It says your phone is up to date.

Otherwise, your phone might be running on a custom firmware made exclusively to your network provider and the update for it might have not been released yet.

are u trying to view thru the web browser or thru a dedicated app? check that you are up to date with the latest firmware for your device along with the latest Nokia system app updates from the Store, and try performing a soft reset.

Nokia Lumia 625 and wifi-facebook problem

I have the ordinary problem with nokia lumia 625...everything works except facebook (when using wifi at home)...facebook app wont load,news feed in People tile wont load,internet explorer loads every page except facebook (nokia xpress has no problem)...only thing that works is facebook chat in messages...i have done firmware update of the router (belkin) and it didnt work i really dont know where the problem can be...any other devices works fine (even lumia 800 had no problems), any other pages or apps work fine on wifi and facebook works on other wifis--belkin support says it is a problem of this model of the phone not in the router

Cannot connect nokia Lumia 625 to Win XP PC

Hello, I have a Nokia Lumia 625 phone - I cannot seem to connect it to my Win XP PC
The Phone is upto date - software updates on the phone says 'uptodate'
My Win XP is also upto date (at least uptill Apr 8 2014)
When I connect the phone to the PC using USB cable, it kicks off 'new hardware found' wizard,
When I click to continue install, it says ' MTP device found'
Then after a few seconds it says 'Cannot install this hardware - An error occurred during the installation of the device, The specified service does not exist as an installed service
And I end up with the yellow question marks in the device driver list.
I cannot see the device listed in windows explorer.
Any help or advice?

What version of Windows XP do you have (SP2, SP3, etc.)? Do you have the latest Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 installed on your PC? Please check this link: FAQ - What should I do if my Nokia Lumia phone is not recognized by a computer running Windows XP?

Nokia Lumia 625 Slow/Chugs/Hangs Music Selection

I recently got a Nokia Lumia 625 and its been working great, for the most part. I've run into a problem its nothing major just an inconvenience really but whenever i go to start up and listen to my music it hangs for around 16 seconds then the music starts to play but it takes another 5 seconds to switch the screen to the selected music, currently all my music is on a 32GB sd card. If anyone has information on this "problem" plase let me know what i might be able to do to solve this.

have you checked that you are up to date with latest firmware on device and latest Nokia system app u[dates from the Store? also try performing a soft reset. i have seen the behaviour before where if you only have a couple of GB storage space left on the phone, the phone starts to slow down in tasks such as playing music etc.

Yes, there are some issues when using a Class 10 card on a Lumia. However, all of the entire 64gb cards are either rated Class 10 or even faster than that. So the safe option for now is to get a lower capacity card other than 64GB, the next one is a 32GB in which I believe has a Class 4 variant.

Hi! How do you unlock Nokia Lumia 1020 w/c is locked with AT&T? I just bought mine in the US a couple weeks ago, but before I bought the phone I asked the AT&T Customer Number (1-800-331-0500) that I am a non-US resident and I bringing the phone to my Country. The lady on the other line told me there's no problem as long as I am buying the phone with no obligaation / pay in full price of the phone and call them again thay can unlock the phone. When I bought the phone and called again, the person on the other line told me he can't and the only way is thru website www.att.com/deviceunlock. Now, I've been trying to unlock my phone since Aug. 31 but no avail. So, are those people in AT&T customer service didn't really know what are they doing and if it is really in their hearth to be called a customer service representative? Because, if they knew what are they doing this should have not happen and I should not bought this phone. Now, when I blog thru their website somebody emailed me and telling me different policies again, here is the last email he sent me.

If you're looking for the restriction code, it is only provided by the operator to whom your phone is tied up with. If you're referring to your phone's password & you forgot it, you may need to perform a reset to be able to access it again. However, do note that this process will wipe all your phone's data. Same here. Nokia Lumia 930.
When it is set to auto, while the timezone is correct, the phone shows wrong date/time.
I set it to manual and to my surprise, date/time changed on reboot.
