Unlock Screen Bug

Z30, latest update for USA/Verizon.
Have setting so one must hit the top button and swipe the screen up to unlock....
Or so I thought.
If I happen (or anything happens) to be touching the screen more than halfway up it will unlock automatically and go to the home screen.
Issue: Unlocks in my pocket if the top button happens to be depressed (which it will do easily). Then if I have a password it will ask until I hit the limit of tries to unlock the phone.
When I got my original phone with the older software this was not a bug...

I Also noticed the clock app is no longer a solid black It used to blend in with black wallpaper but not after iOS 8.3

Palm Pre 2 Unlocked NA Bug

Hello, I would like to let everyone know that there is a bug with the unlock screen on the palm pre 2. There are a number of people who have this problem and I am one of them. I have ordered two phones already and they have this problem.
The Problem: When Turning the phone on there is a slow "fade effect" when trying to unlock the phone with the lock icon takes multiple tries. The operating system seems to delay significantly on boot up. Below is video proof of what I am explaining.

I can reproduce this too but only if I'm instantly trying to unlock the device the split moment after hitting the power button, same thing on my Sprint Pre. It works just fine if a give it at least 3/4 a second after hitting the power button. This isn't a bug but I can log this for improvements opportunities. Would you be able to send us a log of that device? Please let me know and I'll PM you the steps. Dont forget if you need that screen to be on really fast you can pull out the keyboard to bypass the screenlock all together

Does anyone agree that an option to view Calendar of Events on the Slide to Unlock Screen would be a quick and easy way to review your next events and appointments?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPad2 is frozen at slide to unlock screen, every few minutes the apple appears in the middle of the screen and couple of minutes later it will go back on freeze to the slide to unlock screen . I have tried all tricks even the restoration through iTunes which I was never able to complete because of the apple screen; iTunes thinks I am resetting my iPad and the restoration get aborted.
Please help, I can't even turn it off.

Force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times.

I do not see a way to disable the Picture Frame icon. I looked at Settings-Picture Frame, but none of the options turns it off. The only way I can thinik of, would be if all of your photos had been deleted. If there were no photos, you couldn't have a slide show!
One thing to try is to reset (reboot) your iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.

How to use custom PAM module to unlock screen ?

Hi,
I actually use a custom PAM module for authentificate my users. This is working like a charm with sudo.
I wanted to add it with the login screen, the one that everyone use. I added my config in /etc/pam.d/authorization and everything is working. When I get a box prompting for a password, the plugin is activated. As excepted.
But my problem is that the plugin is not activated when my mac get the unlock screen after being on sleep. You know, the one where your screenpaper is shown and your image. How to do so?

Strange messages on unlock screen

Is this a hack or a feature that I'm not aware of?

Can't start camera from unlock screen in iphone 5c since ios8

Hi!
Some I can't start the camera from the unlock screen in iphone 5c since ios8 update.
It works a couple of hours after reboot, but the problem keeps turning back randomly.
After iOS8 update I also installed facebook, facebook messenger, linkedin and sync.me and configured skype.
The actions are:
Enabling the unlock screen and then sliding up the camera icon, it seems to appear a camera captured image but then the screen turns black or greyish (randomly) like the unlock screen background.
The problem doesn't happen from the control center panel locked or unlocked.
It isn't a big problem because there are simple workarounds, but it's annoying when it happens.

Why is the unlock-screen of my iPad mini showing black or blue lines?

3 days ago, i bought an iPad mini at the apple store. Everything is working perfectly, but ever since I first started it, I'm noticing some black or blue lines at the bottom of the screeen on the unlock screen. They disappear after one second.
I already updated to the latest version, and I did a hard-reset, but this didn't help.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

HI i have the same issue with my ipad mini retina. it appeared too out of nowhere after more than a month of using it. my device wasn't dropped or exposed to any liquid substance. At first only a single line appeared and then it grew to this. How did you fix yours? did you return it?

Iphone6 doesn't give me unlocking screen option

I am trying to watch youtube long documentarie, video gets interrupted when screen locking time kicks in- I go to settings/general/lock screen, but 'never' option is not there! Only 1 to 5 minutes options- can I unlock screen permanently To enable uninterrupted videos when using iTV+iPhone6?

What version of ios are you on? Anything current has multitasking (such as it is) built in. What happens when you duble tap the home key? If the task bar shows up on the bottom lf the screen, you are multitasking.

Wont show me the unlock screen???

I just receently undated my iphone and restored it although I lost all of my pictures and contacts. Now when I use the phone and it goes in lock after I'm not using it I cant get to see the unlock screen by pressing the home key. The screen just goes black and stays black. The only way I can get it to come back on it by pressing and holding the two buttons the one time for about 30 seconds. Anyone know how to fix this?

You need to double click the Home button to get the camera button.

No. Third party software annot control the operating system.

I-phone unlock screen has very large letters and numbers.

I-phone has large letters and numbers on the unlock screen. can see only about 1/4 of the screen it's so large. can't see the slide to unlock bar, only part of the actual time. will not compress with fingers. phone recieves e-mail/phone calls but can't unlock it. tried restore twice and shutting phone off. pulled SIM card too. when it's restoring the screen is normal size as soon as it's finished it goes back to super -size.

I'm having exactly the same problem, but It doesn't do a thing when I tap it twice or even three times. It's just locked on my screen saver. I can unlock it with some difficulty, because the screen is so enlarged. But, then I just get a big screen with numbers. I've reset it multiple ways, but with no luck.
