I have 1 more question : I'm not an expert in overclocking so maybe you can help me. I'm on Linux and my cpu can work @ 3.2 Ghz in turbo mode (this mode can be load easily in Windows with an appropriate sofware). I would like to work in turbo mode under my linux and for that I have to change the max frequency value in the bios. How can I do that because there are many options and I don't undersand all of them.

i may need a modded bios for my gt60-i789w7h. i cant use any virtual machine which is x64 cause theres no option in my bios to enable the vt-feature. (and add maybe some oc features if possible. im a gamer )
can u help me with that?! could u also provide a tool and a short guide to flash the bios? never did that before on a notebook.

Can I please request an unlocked Bios, with latest RST orom for the GT60 0NC-011NE ?
Since I am currently running Win7, I understand that the .10U bios should be the best option. But if I want to run UEFI mode mainly, for Win8 and Win10 preview, would the .50X bios be the better option ?
If so, by donating twice what I initially planned, would it be possible to get both versions unlocked and updated ?

Yes please, both of them . I''ll use the 10U currently while I am on Win7, and switch to the 51X when I install the retail Win8, or test Win10 Preview, as they are better run under UEFI mode, than CSM mode.

A question - Is it only under the .51X BCLK overclocking of the CPU is available, or is that also in the unlocked .10U ? I tried to look for it the 10U from the support download, but there were just too many options for a (smart) gifted amateurhardwarehacker like me to deal with, when I can pay you with your experience to handle it for me

Hello Svet. I send you PM but I'm not sure it worked
I need an unlocked Bios for my GT70 model 0NC-002US.
My GTX670M died on me and I ordered a GTX765M ( MSI flashed). I should get it in a week or so
my problem is that I removed the defective GPU because the laptop won't power up if I leave it in the PCi-E slot
but once removed, the laptop runs the Fan full speed at all times. So I need to select the Intel card in the unlocked Bios

I got a MSI GT70 0NC.
After a long talk with Nvidia, it seems that 3D stereoscopic is disabled by MSI for this notebook.
Can you confirm this?
Is it possible to enable it with an unlocked BIOS?

3D performance is gaming. Also not every notebook uses Nvidia's 3D vision. In fact most do not. Both audio and 3D vision are disabled, because the notebook uses the Intel 4000IGP for HDMI video and audio. 3D vision are disabled as this is not a 3D vision notebook.

I just noticed it is possible to disable the discrete card. That would be very important for me as I use Linux and don't game much so it would save power etc.
When the bios update happens does it also update the IGFX firmware etc?

Unlocked BIOS/EC request - GT60 Barebone (16F33)

Since my graphics card (gtx675m) nearly died (nvlddmkm.sys error), I need to upgrade it to gtx780m or gtx870m, however, I'm not sure whether my BIOS and/or EC firmware (anyway, what's the difference?) is/are compatible with the newer graphics cards.
My laptop is: MSI GT60 Whitebook (MSI-16F33 barebone, from HIDevolution) - 3630qm, gtx675m.

I want to unlock BIOS of my MSI GE60 0NC . (You have already helped me recently in other threads as well )
- bios is: w8_E16GAIMS.514
- firmware is: w8_16GAEMS1.505
I need the following features:
- set the CPU voltage for the different states
- set the GPU (nVidia) voltage for the different states
- to be able to set the fan level (like you did here : https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=168727.0 ) for the different states
The goal is that I can have a quite laptop (thanks to undervolting and modified fan speeds).
What else can I get? (just send me a PM, if it's better for you)

- gpu thing is not important: I can do it with nvidiainspector (not lower the voltages, of course, but setting a lower power state)
1. - fan control: what're your recommend settings for this? (the goal is a silent laptop, as far as possible) I thought about that the lowest fan speed would be good around 72 Celsius. What do you think?
Right now, with the official bios and with Turbo disabled on the CPU via OS, if I see a movie with MPC-HC + MadVR (highest settings, which uses a lot of dGPU) the CPU temp is around 63 Celsius (of course in this case the fan isn't working on the lowest state)
2. - cpu voltage setting: well, I'm not happy Can you do that I could set the voltages through a program, like ThrottleStop? (Right now it's not working.)
(I'm using CPUGenie for this purpose on my old MSI GX620 )
3. - what other settings will be appear in the unlocked bios?
