Unlocking of periods in CO ( Controlling )

I am trying to settle an Internal Order to Asset Under Construction through T Code - KO88. I am getting the following error.
Transaction Actual settlement has been locked
Message no. KI806
Diagnosis
Business transaction Actual settlement has been locked for controlling area/version 2000/000 in fiscal year 2007, period 8.
System Response
The function cannot be executed for locked periods.
Procedure
Limit processing to the periods which are not locked, if possible.
If locked periods are necessary for processing, unlock them.
Please guide me for unlocking the CO Period so that this Internal Order can be settled.

But in OKP1, there are large no. of transactions which one should be selected for the settlement from Internal Order to Asset under Construction.

HE 641 unlocking prior periods

Update on this - As an administrator I should be able to unlock any prior periods but I can not. There are no journal entries to unpost so the question is, how does one unlock prior periods once they have been locked? The option to do this through the Database module is grayed out.
Help, A user triend to run a Consolidation while another usere was in Data Entry and it locked up the Entity for 2 periods. Now we can not unlock it. Any suggestions?

It is quiet an interesting solution, for it is the same effect as having the entity selected in the Database module(since it is base) so by selecting it from the dropdown box from the entity list will not be any different. However, this is hyperion enterprise, and the most strange things happen. I am glad you didnt have to reload, but sometimes is the only solution (although nobody likes it-I certainly dont) I'll keep that in mind since we still have enterprise around.

How do I unlock my phone using touchless control by speaking my PIN?

I just recently got my Droid Maxx & I am enjoying most of the features. I have set up & trained the launch phrase "Ok Google Now". I have set a PIN code for security to unlock the phone. I have the box checked that says "Speak PIN to unlock". But it still won't unlock by voice. I still have to type in my PIN, which can be dangerous while driving. When I say "Ok Google Now, unlock phone" I get the launch phrase sound (so I know it heard me), but then the PIN pad appears. If I type in my PIN, then it goes to a google search screen that has lists of articles & web pages about "unlocking phone".
What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do to get my phone to unlock by speaking my PIN?

Pulse/Period measurement to control VI

I am enquiring regarding controlling a vi iterations with an external trigger. Let me summarise my VI first.
I have a for loop using single point aquisition i need to run for a specific number of iterations depending on the time base between my external trigger (this is approx. 1-3 seconds). This is located in a while loop containing a number of other data manipulation including limit testing etc. The reason i am using single point rather than buffered is that i need to display the data in RT and (from my knowledge) i can't get the buffered aquisition to do this, or even waveform AI to do it either.
I have used the measure period VI in labview to obtain a time in either s or ms within the while l
oop and passed this to my for loop to iterate x times.
The problem is (which actually makes sense!) when the while loop runs it must recieve two pulses from the external trigger before it can pass a number to the for loop. The result of this is that i lose sequences (a sequence is the data occuring between the pulses).
The VI does exactly what i want BUT the timing is all wrong.
What i need the VI to do is capture the time between ALL the pulse sequences, so that when the VI reiterates, the number of times the for loop must iterate is already in place. I have tried buffered pulse measurement but can't seem to get it to work as i think it should.
Any ideas? It is kinda difficult to explain this exactly in writing but any solutions appreciated.

There are definitely different ways of doing this. The way you have done this in your VI will work; however, there are drawbacks. First, each time you call the AI single point VI, it performs a configuration, which takes time, so you're doing this 4 times every loop. This slows down your readings.
A better way is to scan all four channels at once, and then read them all at once, saving the time to configure every loop. Even better than that is to run a buffered acquisition, and read the most current data out of the buffer.
Therefore, I would propose taking a look at an example in the LabVIEW directories for a Continuous Scan example. It will show you what VIs you need to set up the acquisition. Then, there will be a while loop w
hich reads the data. What you'll need to do is look at the inputs of the AI Read VI. There's an input to tell it where to get the data. If you set it to "Relative to the end of the buffer", and tell it to get 1 point, you'll get the most up-to-date point for all 4 channels. Then you can combine the channels to get your plot, just as you are now, and you can look to see if your trigger happens.
Second, when the trigger does occur, you can do an AI Read outside of that loop and read the ENTIRE buffer, to get ALL of the points. These will be at whatever scan rate you set up, but they will be nice and evenly spaced, not determined by the loop time. So, in this manner, you can still get real-time updates of what's happening, but your scan rate can be higher than the loop time, and you'll still get all the data. Got it?
If you need an example to demonstrate how to do this, I'd be glad to show you.

Firstly check the open periods for the compnay code in OMSY...
If its not open then try in the MMPV to open it...
You can also open it in OB52..which is FI trasaction...it open/close the two periods consicutively...
You can reopen the periods but its not recomended...you can use MMRV..for back posting allowed...
or else check this
goto SU3
select user profile
in parameter ID give MMPI_READ_NOTE , and in parameterr value enter todays yyyymmdd and save.
and goto MMPI intialise the periods to present one at a strech.

Validity period mitigating control

I checked this forum but didn't find any helpful thread for my question. We are using GRC version 5.3. Is there any SAP report or tables available that would show history of mitigating controls per user? In running the Compliance Calibrator for a user, SOD issues were present that we didn't expect because we thought existing mitigating controls were applied and that we were regularly monitoring this user for the associated risks. We thought that the problem might be that the validity period might have expired, but our corporate security group currently doesn't even show the mitigating control for the user. I wanted to look at the history of the mitigating control for the user to see if I could validate their claim.

First of all, there's a special forum for GRC: "Governance, Risk and Compliance".
Check under RAR-> configuration tab:
Default expiration time for mitigating controls (in days)
When assigning a mitigating control to a risk, you must specify the validity period of the controlIf the End Date is left blank, the value in this option is used to calculate the end date of the validity period; the default value is 365 (days)
Check also under CUP->configuration->mitigation.
You'll be able to find the documentation for this configuration parameters in the corresponding Config Guide.
Regarding Mitigation controls per user, I guess you can just check RAR -> Mitigation tab.

In our project, we have implemented FI, CO , MM, SD, PP, PM, and HR modules with payrolls. Our project has gone live this month(05.02.2007).
Can anybody explain what are the steps to be taken for period closing in controlling.
Some Production orders which are in process do not have standard cost estimates, what is the impact in WIP Calculation.
Please also give info on how to transfer the Personnel Cost from HR Cost Centers to deferent production orders.

With iOS7 on an iPhone, you lock the rotation by bringing up the control center and selecting the "Lock Rotation" icon. To bring up the control center, swipe up from the bottom of your screen. You should see a translucent display with the control center options:

Unable to delete period from Periods in Control tables

I am trying to delete period 'Sep' from Periods in Control Tables.
But getting msg as 'FDM was unable to find the Record to delete'.
Not sure whether the record got deleted internally.But I can still see it in my Period list in Control tables.
Cud anyone suggest how shud I delete period from Control tables and where these periods are stored internally in FDM??

Hi,
There is also a note in Metalink which suggests the record be deleted from workbench client. I did that and it worked. The cause is stated as the record not being entered correctly, and hence the application is unable to find it.

Unlocked Voltage Controll

Hello.
I've got MSI GTX 670 PE and I'm using MSI Afterburner ( 3.0.0 Beta 9 atm. but with 2.2.3 and other versions I've got the same problem ).
The voltage controll is unlocked, I'm able to controll mem voltage, I got +745Mhz ( 3746Mhz total ) mem to work on +50mV.
Actualy this is the only unlocked voltage that works. Changing Core and Aux Voltage has no effetc ( either -100mV and +100mV, the readings are same all the time ).
Actualy I got +70Mhz ( 1320Mhz total ) set on it with +0mV but as I said voltage dosen't work.
I'm wondering how to fix it, maybe its coused by my BIOS ? I'm using 80.04.4b.00.47 which is default for my card.
Also, I'm using driver 314.22.

The vbios of most GTX670 PE are limited to 1.175v max due to Nvidia dictating that when production started. Aux voltage increase works but you can't monitor that with software.

Terminal command to lock and unlock the dock?

I manage hundreds of iMacs running Yosemite at a school site. I use parental controls with the lock dock feature turned on. I would like to periodically unlock the dock to customize it with new icons, but have not found a terminal command that works, or a streamlined process that is time efficient.
So far I have been individually unlocking the dock in parent controls on each machine, restarting, editing the dock, then re-locking it parental controls, then restarting. This takes 5-10 minutes per machine).
I also tried this command but it didn't work.
defaults write com.apple.dock contents-immutable -bool true; killall Dock;
I also tried cloning the parental controls with an exported plist file to all the machines using ARD, which works for all the parental control settings EXCEPT for the lock dock feature.
Any ideas?

Sorry this is probably too late for you, but it may help others seeking this answer, I just had this problem [Mac OS x Yosemite 10.10.2] and found that the following worked for me:
1. Use Terminal to LOCK the Dock by C&P or typing in:
defaults write com.apple.dock contents-immutable -bool true
Then use your preferred method to Log-Out [e.g. Key Combo ⇧⌘Q or  [Top Left Menu] then select Log Out “name”]
and then Log-In again.
2. Use Terminal to UNLOCK the Dock by C&P or typing in:
defaults write com.apple.dock contents-immutable -bool false
Then use your preferred method to Log-Out [e.g. Key Combo ⇧⌘Q or  [Top Left Menu] then select Log Out “name”]
and then Log-In again.
NB. You will be solely responsible for your actions making changes to the Operating System.
