Unmatching Zipcodes and charges without purchases

So, the other day I decide and try to purchase the Crash Bandicoot game for my iPhone which is $9.99. I go through the usual buying process and then it says there is a problem with a past purchase and to click on something to solve it. I click on it and it says that i have a past balance for four applications all of which were free and it says due balance $0.00, so I clicked the pay button. I then try to purchase the program again and it says that now my zipcodes don't match, when I did not change anything, on my iTunes account, or my bank account. I go to edit my account and re-enter my zipcode, hoping that will solve the problem, but no dice. I then go to my bank account online (BofA) to see if theres money in my account (knowing there is) and I see two purchases of $1.03 from the iTunes store labeled that days date, even though I purchased nothing from iTunes that wasn't free in the past month or so. I then try to buy the application on my iPhone itself. It goes to load the install process and it says "there is a problem with your account billing". After that I check my account and it is charged $10.80 for another purchase I did not make, which was not completed. In total there was two charges of $10.80 and at one point as many as 6 charges of $1.03. Since yesterday most of the $1.03 charges were cancelled, but both charges of $10.80 are still there. I tried calling 866 712 7753 only to be redirected to a website which did explain the smaller charges on my card but not the bigger ones. I need to find a solution to this problem mainly so I can continue to make purchases to the iTunes store, and to stop the charges to my card.
If anyone has any solutions, they will be much appreciated.

Those $1 charges are just to make sure it's a correct credit card number. They'll mysteriously disappear before you get a paper statement, or get reversed.
I suggest typing over everything in your "Edit Payment Info" screen info, even if it looks right.

  • Dynamic taxes and charges of Purchase Order

    Hi
    We have the following issues in purchase order:
    The discounts offered by vendors vary from PO to PO. Sometimes the discounts are applicable on basic price and in some cases it is applicable on the price after some charges/taxes. This is not feasible in the current configuration, as we are unable to overrule the pricing conditions and the order of computation of discounts/taxes.
    In some cases, we get an adhoc discount of an absolute value, which is not feasible to enter in the PO.
    The excise modvat received from some traders is in absolute value and not in percentage. There is no provision to record the same as well.
    Please let me know a feasible solution for this, as the charges, taxes and discounts vary from order to order and we would like to have the flexibility to define them physically in the order in which they are applicable (both in terms of percentage and absolute value).
    There are cases where we would like to enter the percentage and the amount on which that rate needs to be applied. SAP's pricing condition automatically computes this. We need a solution for this as well.

    Hi Shaji,
    I would advise you to do this step by step. If you want to design the complete priciing procedure for ll cases immediately , you have to be experienced in pricing.
    E.g. in your case : start with the complete manual solution ( and add automation afterwards if possible/desirable )
    In the most basic scenario, you need something like
    -Base price
    -Discounts % Before
    -Discounts Value
    -Discount % After
    -Tax1 base
    -Tax1 %
    -Tax1 value ( calculated )
    -Tax2 base
    -Tax2 %
    -Tax2 value ( calculated )
    -Total tax ( calculated )
    In you create manual price conditons for all ( except tax value ), this should very fairly straightforward.
    If you need a base for the % discount that is not available in the above, you add a condition type ( statistical ) and manually input the base specificially for the discount.
    As I said, if it works, you can start to add more automation where possible ( e.g. determine a default for the tax bases and only update manually when necessary ). To do this create a price condition record that is always found by the system ( e.g. with value 0 ), but mark it as manual input takes priority. Thne use a condition base value formula to default the condition type. If you change it anyway, you changed value will be used
    ( this also has the advantage that the confition type 'appears' immediatly on the screen and the user only needs to fill, instead of adding the condition type itself also manually )
    SAP pricing is VERY flexible and the same requirement can be implemented in many ways. It really depends on the complete picture to choose,

  • Another website glitch resulting in gift card charge without purchase being completed

    I have read similar complaints on this forum, but it appears Best Buy has an IT problem with their website.
    Last night I ordered 2 video games through their website, applied a gift card, and when I hit the final button to Place My Order was greeted with, "Sorry, our site just had a glitch. Please call us at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289) to place your order."
    When I called that number, they could not help me, after transferring me and putting me on hold for 1.5 hours. My gift card had been charged, but the order was nowhere to be found, despite it remaining in my Shopping Cart online.
    Essentially, as it stands, Best Buy has stolen $127.18 from me. The only question is how long and difficult this will be to sort out, and it already has been too long and too difficult.
    I can tell you from personal experience, a better-run company, like, for example, Amazon, would have been able to solve this situation in a 5 minute, polite phone call. They would have processed the order without new payment as a courtesy while they worked out the payment glitch. They would have had a knowledgeable representative. They would have apologized for their mistake. Of course, Amazon also likely would have caught and fixed the website glitch before it affected multitudes of customers.
    Perhaps Best Buy keeps all of their knowledgable, polite, helpful representatives assisting on these forums? We'll see.

In my experience when this occurs with an order the funds are returned within 24 - 48 hours.   • Fetching the price of the purchase order and charge it in my SO

    Dear, gurus
    I am doing services mto and even Repair services of customers machinery. I would like to fetch the price incase of purchase order and charge the customer for that purchase in my Sales Order. Is there a way to automatically fetch the price? Or how can I cover this scenario?
    Ex: I receive customers machine and in my plant or workshop I do not have the tool needed or a specialist so I hire someone for the job so I buy or rent it or him from a vendor and in return I want to charge my customer for that purchase.
    Any Ideas?
    P.S. this is not a 3rd party sale scenario its just a simple Sales Order. I was able to fetch the price from the production order with condition type EK02. Is there any condition type for purchase order price fetching?

    How did the outcome come out as? meaning did that user exit price fetch appear in a condition type in the billing document? If so which one?
    Also, where is the relationship or linkage made from PO to SO? Like how in the world would your sales order know that a purchase order was done. I mean it really is a weird process I mean first the SO should be created then that should trigger the PR and that gets converted to a PO as rightly stated in book terminology. But in this case of first a regular sales order, then out of sap we give our requirement to mm purchasing dept and tell them we need such and such. Once they buy it there is a price which in return we need to charge our customer. Everything can be done manually.
    From my own logic of looking at what you described in the user exit. I presume that from abap side they will only pull a table and field data and populate it where I want it?
    In the PR there is a place where you can assign acct cat C to the sales order and item line what exactly is this for? GL acct are assigned for which purpose or What is it doing? Also, the purpose of that cost center?

    If ALL your music is on the iPod and it's ALL iTunes purchased content, you log into iTunes with your account on th enew machine and reverse sycn the music back.
    If the music is from cd's and other sources (not iTunes files) then ask over at iLounge what third party solution currently works. (can't recommond it here)
    I have some HUGE instructions here how to get your music off the old comptuer too:
    Recovery options:
    A: If Windows isn't booting:
    You need to boot the computer from a "recovery disk or USB" that has a operating system on it and a graphical user interface to transfer files from your boot drive to a external drive.
    I suggest using the Easy USB Installer to install Ubuntu 10.10 onto a 2-4 GB USB key.

    or
    burn a ISO of Ubuntu 10.10 or PartedMagic to a cd-r with ImgBurn or Win 7 right click and burn
    You can use Disk Utility in OS X to select the ISO and burn to cd/dvd as well.
    Once you have it installed, consult this page for your BIOS boot key to hold to get into the BIOS.

    Plug the USB into the back (if possible) of the computer, connect the external drive and enter the BIOS, set the USB (or CD) as first boot and SAVE.
    Boot off the USB/CD and "Try Ubuntu/Run from disk" DON'T INSTALL. (Parted Magic loads into RAM and ejects CD)
    Once in, go under the menu Places > Computer and transfer your files to the external drive just like you would in Windows, drag and drop.
    (If using Parted Magic double click on the Mount Drive left icon twice, use the two GUI windows to transfer files to external drive, unmount drives, log out/quit in the lower left corner menu option)
    B: If the computer hardware isn't working, but the drive might still work:
    You'll have to remove the power cord and manually extract the hard drive. This might result in some damage.
    There is a powered IDE/SATA to USB adapter for sale online for $20 that you can take that internal hard drive and use it like a external drive to access your files from another Windows machine.
    C: If your iTunes content is deleted...
    It might be recoverable if it hasn't been overwritten yet by fresh data. Undelete software works by reading the 1's and 0's of the files themselves, not what the OS says.
    You need to use undelete software pre-installed before the iTunes content was deleted, or while on a bootable cd/USB and a external drive to transfer the recovered files.
    You can also install undelete type software on a new machine and USE STEP B above to "undelete" the files and recover them directly to the new computer.
    You can't install undelete software or recover files to the same drive your attempting to recover from or it overwrites the deleted data.
    D: If the hard drive doesn't work and...
    The data isn't worth spending $2000-$3000 in a ATTEMPT at platter dissection recovery, then your finished
    If the data on the drive was encrypted, data recovery efforts may be futile, unless it's a encypted file and you transfer it successfuly and have the password to de-crypt it.
    E: If you have a "iDevice" with any content
    It can be synced back into iTunes, check at iLounge what third party software works reliably now and for your version.
    (Once you log into your iTunes account, you can sync ONLY iTunes purchased content back from a iDevice)
    Third party software can recover just about all the items on a iDevice, regardless of it's origin. (can't recommend such software here)
    F: If any of the above is too hard, or the data is of "critical importance"
    Then seek professional computer or forensic level recovery services.
    Get help from someone who has done this sort of thing repeatly and can almost guaranty 100% results.
    There is Linux software that can "rip" all data off a iOS device if that level of attention is needed, seek a professional service.
    Hope this helps in your data recovery efforts.
    Please, backup your data, it's the only thing us IT professionals can't recover.

    I understand you are having issues with a couple of songs you recently purchased. It may be that these songs did not download fully, or correctly. The best troubleshooting step may be to delete the songs from your library, and re-download using iTunes in the Cloud (if available in your country).

    Purchased ringtone from apps. Billed and charged. Can not find it on iPhone 4S or on computer.

    If you bought it on your iPhone then it should be on it - it will only be on your computer's iTunes if you've copied it over (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases), in which case it should copy to the Tones part of your library (they won't appear in the Purchased link for re-downloading). It doesn't show on the list if you try to change one of your notification sounds on your phone via Settings > Sounds, or if you go into Contacts and select a contact and tap the Edit button at the top right does that allow you to assign that ringtone to that contact ?
    Or is is a ringtone that you bought in an app i.e. not a ringtone from the iTunes store ?

    Unfortunately, redownloading of past music purchases isa still in beta test and only available in the US right now.
    It's due for everyone this fall.  Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
    If you can't wait, contact the iTunes Store Support Team at this link
    If you get lucky, they may be able to authorize another download now.

    Though you are being asked for card details it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you want to gift content). Have you tried entering your card's details to confirm the account ? You should then be able to remove it.

    then you will need to enter card details (debit cards are no longer accepted in all countries) before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
