Unpack.sh doesn't work WLS 11g (10.3.2)

Hi All,
We are using wls_10.3.2 (11gR1).
After packing a domain created at the hostA,
the unpack script causes an error at the hostB as follows:

Hi Ravi
Thanks for your comments.
Couple of things to make sure that you did followed them.
1. Same Version of Weblogic Server (wls_10.3.2 (11gR1).) should be installed both on Machine A and Machine B (where you run unpack).
2. Preferably same directory structure should be maintained for the installation on both machine A and machine B.Since machineB is a copy of VMWare guest of machineA,
versions and structures are completely same amount these machines.
When you created this SOA Domain for the first time, did you checked the required project facets like "Oracle SOA Suite...). When you check this, it will automaticlly check the check boxes for facets named "Oracle WSM Policy Manager" and "Oracle JRF). Check the config xml file.The domain includes:
- Basic Weblogic Server Domain - 10.3.2.0
- Oracle SOA Suite - 11.1.1.0
- Oracle Enterprise Manager - 11.1.1.0
- Oracle WSM Policy Manager - 11.1.1.0
- Oracle JRF - 11.1.1.0
Do you have any further idea?
Regards,

  • ReturnListener doesn't work Jdev 11g

    Hi,
    I was testing the implementation of dialogs using jdeveloper 11g (window A launches window B).
    It appears that my returnListener code method (window A) doesn't fire after I close the dialog (window B).
    I'm launching the dialog from a link in a column within a RichTable object.
    The execution goes through the launchListener (win A), the actionListener of the close button of the dialog (win B),
    but never goes through the returnListener (win A).
    Maybe I missed something.
    Thanks for any Idea on what's happening.

    Quick question - are you using the faces-config.xml or the adfc-config.xml to specify your navigation?
    Try the adfc-config.xml if you don't use it already.

  • Wls 11g jaas module not working

    Hi,
    I am successfully using a standard JAAS module to authorize and authenticate users on an HPUX – WebLogic 9.2 environment. However when we port this exact JAAS module to a LINUX – WebLogic 11g environment, the JAAS module times-out after 25 minutes at WebLogic managed server startup and eventually fails.
    We want to know if anything has changed from a JAAS perspective when comparing WebLogic 9.2 versus 11g? We have been unable to get JAAS authentication working. We tried re-creating the jar file but have now run out of options. They have over 16 different Linux servers that all have the same problem. All time out once the JAAS module has been implemented.
    We are primarily interested in knowing if there have been any significant changes to the JAAS functionality between WLS 9.2 and 11g versions. They have tried recompiling/recreating the JAAS file on our Linux servers but the same result occurs. It simply stalls and then doesn't work after appearing to be hung for 25 minutes at start-up time.
    It is a custom JAAS module that we have implemented. However the very same JAAS module that works for WLS 9.2 does not work for WLS 11g.
    Any suggestions on how we can get this working would be very helpful.
    Thanks in advance.

    Yes, the packaging has changed somwhat, when you compiled for 11g didn't u get compilcation exceptions?
    If you didnt, then you might not be using those packages.
    Can u paste the stak trace/ thread dump at the time it was hung?

I tried using a java program with Netbeans that connects to my 10g Database and there's connection with no problems and I can upload/download data with no problems, I just can't access the web interface.

    The procedure is slightly different in 7.0, but not too difficult to figure out.

  • Manipulating soap headers in BPEL 11g doesn't work

    Hi,
    I need to change the values of the soap header elements MessageId and RelatesTo in SOA Suite 11.1.1.5. The documentation is not very clear on how to achieve this. In the development guide bpelx:inputHeaderVariable is mentioned for manipulating soap headers. If you use the "Headers" tab on the invoke activity I instead get bpelx:headerVariable. But I've tried both and then run the calls through TCP Monitor. The messageId/RelatesTo is still not changed.
    I have also tried the "Properties" tab on the invoke activity. There are two properties called wsa.messageId and wsa.relatesTo which sounds perfect. But still nothing happens when I use them.
    My invoke looks like this (if e.g. using bpelx:headerVariable):
    <invoke name="InvokeSomeProcess" partnerLink="SomeProcess"
    portType="ns1:SomeProcessCallback" operation="onResult"
    inputVariable="someProcessInputVariable"
    bpelx:invokeAsDetail="no"
    bpelx:headerVariable="relatesTo,MessageIdHeader">
    </invoke>
    This worked perfectly in 10.3.4 which is what I'm migrating from (then using bpelx:inputHeaderVariable).
    Is this not working in 11g?? Or have I missed some crucial detail? Has anybody got it to work?
    Thankful for any help!
    Kind Regards
    Kerstin

    Ok, there are at least two bugs that are related to this problem:
    1) JDeveloper adds the wrong property when you add a header through the GUI tab "Headers" on an invoke activity. It should be "bpelx:inputHeaderVariable" and NOT "bpelx:headerVariable". (Bug #12541901).
    2) Currently in SOA Suite 11g the WS-Addressing headers are overwritten when the SOAP call is made. Enhancement Request #13718140 has been logged asking for this behaviour to be changed in a future release. This is currently being considered by Product Management.
    Oracle support suggests that you use OSB to set the headers.

    I can run the application correctly in jdeveloper 11g environment. I think there is something wrong with deployment. Can anyone help me?

    When you target url with .jspx, you are running the page itself, not in the task flow context, so navigation doesn't work.
    In the task flow, your page has 'Activity ID' (which is, for example, 'mainPage' for mainPage.jspx) and the navigation is defined for activity IDs, not pages.

    I try to run Steves Example "11g Dynamic JDBC Credentials for Model 1, Struts, Trinidad, and ADF Faces Rich Client" on Standalone WLS 11g (10.3.1) but it doesn't works... on integrated WLS it runs without problems. The WLS-Log shows:
    Modul:     oracle.adf.mbean.share.config.ADFConfigLifeCycleCallBack
    Message:     Failed to create config mbean.
    details: java.lang.Exception: oracle.mds.core.MetadataNotFoundException: MDS-00013: No Metadate for Metaobject "/META-INF/adf-config.xml" found.
    Does somebody have the example to run brought? Or if new settings are necessary for the example on WLS 11g?
    Kind regards
    Martin

    Hi,
    since Steve's solution has nothing to do with the adf-config, I suggest you create a simple testcase that reproduces the problem. It appears as if the ADF binding is not set up properly

  • Session Replication doesn't work when using a custom Unicast Channel

    Hello!
    After configure a WLS Cluster for an WebApp with session replication support enabled I faced some issues with cluster configuration.
    My LAB env used for this configurations is:
    One Solaris 10 SPARC box.
    -- One WLS 11g (10.3.6) domain with:
    ---- 4 Managed servers:
    ---- Admin server
    ---- server-1
    ---- server-2
    ---- Proxy Server (HttpClusterServlet)
    --- 1 Cluster composed by:
    ---- server-1
    ---- server-2In that setup I noticed if I define a custom network channel for servers ( server>protocols>channels ) in the cluster and set Cluster Messaging Mode as Unicast* in the Cluster config ( Cluster>Configuration>Messaging>Messaging Mode ), so the session state replication does not work.
    When I enable the cluster replication debug for managed servers the following messages appears:

    At the end of the day I really would like to understand why the session replication only works for Cluster's Messaging using Multicast mode. I read a lot the WLS docs (specifically the cluster/network topics) [1][2], but I can't find an official explanation about this.
    Can someone help me understand this behavior?
    Many thanks.

    I have Fluxbox started with Slim and .xinitrc. Dbus works only with:
    exec ck-launch-session startfluxbox
    you need run Openbox with ck-launch-session:
    exec ck-launch-session openbox-session

    Help! I've spent hours researching this and can't find a solution...
    I upgraded 3 Intel Macs in the house to Snow Leopard last weekend. All went differently...but all were successful. I found that the connection to my HP Officejet 7410 (connected wirelessly to 802.11g Airport Express (AEX) network) was "broken". Deleted then "re-intalled". Documents could now be printed. I then found out scan function was "broken". Figured out how to scan with new Snow Leopard "baked-in" driver and Scan tab...different, but it worked.
    Then, tonight, on the eve of my birthday, I was given the green light to purchase an Airport Extreme 802.11n (dual-band) base station (AEBS). I set it up and got 2.5X speed on the two 802.11n laptops in the household. Glorious! Then I went to work to ensure print and scan functions were still operational. Tried to re-connect HP OJ 7410 to wireless network...when it found the network it asked for the "WEP" key (on previous AEX network I was secured utilizing WPA2/Personal)...I entered the WPA2/Personal password (same as previous network) and got the error message "Key must be 5 or 13 characters OR 10 or 26 length with 0-9 and A-F (hex)". So I turned off the wireless radio and instead plugged the 7410 into the AEBS via USB. Deleted the previous queue and re-installed. Found the printer no problem but now without the Scan tab or function anywhere...despite following all the recommendations found both on the HP site and here in the Apple Forums. I print fine. Can't for the life of me figure out what the problem with the now lost again Scan function is.
    Only strangeness I can think of is the following: When setting up the network(s), I had the option of naming the 5 ghz band something different. I set mine up with the same name of the 2.4 ghz network with 5ghz in parenthesis (i.e. BobbyG and BobbyG (5 Ghz)).
    Sorry for the long post but we need the scan function in the house for my wife's teaching purposes. Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.
    Very Respectfully,
    Bobby G.

  • Forms11 doesn't work

    i've installed form11 on windows 7. I've registered frmwebutil.jar and jacob.jar.
    When i run the form it doesn't work, displayed only a blank page with no errors. Where I'm wrong?
    my formsweb.cfg in C:\oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\ClassicDomain\config\fmwconfig\servers\WLS_FORMS\applications\formsapp_11.1.1\config

    # formsweb.cfg defines parameter values used by the FormsServlet (frmservlet)
    # This section defines the Default settings. Any of them may be overridden in the
    # following Named Configuration sections. If they are not overridden, then the
    # values here will be used.
    # The default settings comprise two types of parameters: System parameters,
    # which cannot be overridden in the URL, and User Parameters, which can.
    # Parameters which are not marked as System parameters are User parameters.
    # SYSTEM PARAMETERS
    # These have fixed names and give information required by the Forms
    # Servlet in order to function. They cannot be specified in the URL query
    # string. But they can be overridden in a named configuration (see below).
    # Some parameters specify file names: if the full path is not given,
    # they are assumed to be in the same directory as this file. If a path
    # is given, then it should be a physical path, not a URL.
    # USER PARAMETERS
    # These match variables (e.g. %form%) in the baseHTML file. Their values
    # may be overridden by specifying them in the URL query string
    # (e.g. "http://myhost.example.com/forms/frmservlet?form=myform&width=700")
    # or by overriding them in a specific, named configuration (see below)

    In addition to the starting the WebLogic server (WLS), you will need to start the Forms Services also. Also, with respects to the WLS, you can set environment variables for the User ID (WLS_USER) and PW (WLS_PW) so you are not prompted each time you start the WLS.
    Hope this helps,

  • Wireless adapter Z-Com XG-703A doesn't work with WPA after reboot

    Hello everybody,
    Arch doesn't load kernel module arc4 during boot with usb wireless adapter Z-Com XG-703A. So WPA doesn't work and It can connect to only opened access points.
    I found two work arounds but I don't know how to fix the issue completely.
    1. Remove usb adapter and plug it in again (it causes arc4 module to load), then restart networking.
    2. rmmod p54usb, rmmod p54common, modprobe arc4, modprobe p54usb and after that restart networking.
    Could anybody help to fix the problem generally?
    $ lsusb

    Stas

    Does the p54common get loaded again as well when you do modprobep54usb?
    If not, you might just put that into modprobe.conf blacklist.
    If it does get loaded as well, there might be another wireless module getting loaded that perhaps does cause problems. You can check that with
    mkinitcpio -v
    now, or with lsmod after a reboot before your workaround.

  • Parsing in Weblogic/jsp doesn't work; application-mode (command-line) works

    Hello-
    Parsing my XML file in Weblogic/jsp doesn't work, whereas it works
    in application-mode... (albeit on two different machines)
    Here are the parameters:
    server1:
    weblogic 6.0
    win2k server
    jre1.3
    my personal machine:
    ***no weblogic***
    win2k server
    jre1.3
    When I run my code as an application (command-line style) on my machine,
    parsing in my xml file works fine, and I can do a root.toString() and it
    dumps out the entire xml file, as desired.
    However, running my code inside weblogic (on server1) in JSP, parsing in
    my file and doing a root.toString() results in the following: [dmui: null]
    (where dmui is my root)
    (even though i'm running it on two different machines, i'm positive its the
    same code (the servers share a mapped drive)...
    So, I think its probably because I'm using a different parser, as
    specified by weblogic? There are no exceptions being thrown. Here's my
    (abbreviated) code, which is called either command line style or in a JSP:
    // Imports
    import org.w3c.dom.*;
    import org.w3c.dom.Document;
    import javax.xml.parsers.*;
    import javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory;
    import javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilder;
    import org.xml.sax.SAXException;
    import org.xml.sax.SAXParseException;
    DocumentBuilderFactory docBuilderFactory =
    DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    DocumentBuilder docBuilder = docBuilderFactory.newDocumentBuilder();
    mDocument = docBuilder.parse (inFile);
    myRoot.toString()
    -END
    Doing a System.getProperty("javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory")
    results in:
    server1 (weblogic/jsp):
    "weblogic.apache.xerces.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl"
    my machine (application-mode):
    null
    Does anyone have any ideas about how to get this work? Do I try to set it
    up so that they both use the same parser? Do I change the Weblogic parser?
    If so, to what? And how?
    Am I even close?
    Any help would be appreciated..
    Thanks, Clint

    Jennifer,
    Personally I would get rid of import com.sun.xml.parser.* and use xerces
    which comes with WLS 6.0 now, unless like I said earlier you have a need
    to
    use the sun parser :) Try something like this with your code --I've put
    things to watch for as comments in the code.
    import javax.xml.parsers.*;
    import org.xml.sax.SAXException;
    import org.w3c.dom.*;
    import java.io.FileInputStream;
    public class BasicDOM {
    public BasicDOM (String xmlFile) {
    try{
    FileInputStream inStream;
    Document document;
    /*You must specify a parser for jaxp. You can in a simple view
    think
    of this as being analogous to a driver used by JDBC or JNDI. If you are
    using this in the context of a servlet or JSP and have set an XML
    registry
    with the console this happens automatically. You can also invoke it in
    the
    context of an application on the command line using the -D switch. */
    System.setProperty("javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory",
    >>>
    "weblogic.apache.xerces.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl");
    // create a document factory
    DocumentBuilderFactory dbf = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    // specify validating or non-validating parser
    dbf.setValidating(true);
    // obtain a factory
    DocumentBuilder db = dbf.newDocumentBuilder();
    // create a document from the factory
    inStream = new FileInputStream(xmlFile);
    document = db.parse(inStream);
    }//try
    catch (Exception e)
    System.out.println("Unexpected exception reading document!"
    +e);
    System.exit (0);
    }//catch
    }//BasicDom
    // Main Method
    public static void main (String[] args) {
    if (args.length < 1)
    System.exit(1); file://or you can be more verbose
    new BasicDOM(args[0]);
    }//class
    =============================================
    That will give you a basic DOM you can manipulate and parse it fromthere.
    BTW this code
    compiled and ran on WLS 6.0 under Windows 2000.
    Let me know if this helped or you still are having trouble.

    Actually I included com.sun.xml.parser.* as one last febble attempt toget
    it working.
    And as for source code, I included the code. If I just put that oneline
    of code
    in, including the imports, it fails giving me an error listed above inthe
    subject
    line. Here is the code again:
    package examples.xml.http;
    import javax.xml.parsers.*;
    import org.xml.sax.SAXException;
    import org.xml.sax.SAXParseException;
    import org.w3c.dom.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.net.*;
    import org.xml.sax.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class BasicDOM {
    static Document document;
    public BasicDOM (String xmlFile) {
    try {
    DocumentBuilderFactory dbf = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    } catch (FactoryConfigurationError e){
    System.err.println(e.getException());
    e.printStackTrace();
    // Main Method
    public static void main (String[] args) {
    BasicDOM basicDOM = new BasicDOM (args[0]);

    Hi, Rob
    Does it work in WL9.2?
    It seems I do it exactly as the explained at http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs81/programming/classloading.html - and it fails :o(.
    I try to run my app.ear with WL9.2 There are 2 components in it: webapp and mdb. The webapp/WEB-INF contains weblogic.xml:
    <weblogic-web-app>
    <container-descriptor>
    <prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes>
    </container-descriptor>
    </weblogic-web-app>
    Mdb is expected to run in the same mode, i.e. to prefer the webapp/WEB-INF/*.jar over the parent Weblogic classloader. To do so I add the weblogic-application.xml to the app.ear!/META-INF:
    <weblogic-application>
    <classloader-structure>
    <module-ref>
    <!-- reminder: this webapp contains
    prefer-web-inf-classes -->
    <module-uri>webapp</module-uri>
    </module-ref>
    <classloader-structure>
    <module-ref>
    <module-uri>mdb.jar</module-uri>
    </module-ref>
    </classloader-structure>
    </classloader-structure>
    </weblogic-application>
    Now, when classloader-structure specified, both webabb and mdb prefer the weblogic root loader as if prefer-web-inf-classes not defined at all.
