Unread voicemail indicator not working

Isn't the iPhone supposed to display unread voicemail recordings in the "unread red circle"?
BACKGROUND: Here, in Italy, our carriers (including Apple approved ones) do not use the special SMSs that turn voicemail indicators on and off. They send human-readable messages with the caller's number and time of call. This MUST be the reason of the problem I'm experiencing.

I am using basic voicemail. I access it by dialing *86 since the Verizon voicemail app still force closes (see other thread on the G3 board).
It finally went away, but then when I got a new voicemail from a missed call, it didn't reappear. I called my voicemail on a hunch, and there was the message. I went into user options and verified that notifications were on.
Hopefully this is a temporary thing that has been fixed by now. Maybe I should call my phone from the house and leave a voicemail to test it.

I had the same problem and after a lot of research here and on Verizon I finally discovered that it was an app named Onavo Extend that was preventing my voicemail from working. Other people have had success resetting their phone or network settings, disabling and reenabling SIRI, or deleting the Neilsen app (which I didn't have) but those options didn't work for me. A lot of mods have claimed that this is not an Apple problem but if it is caused by an app that Apple allows to be sold in their app store, then it is an Apple problem, not a carrier problem. Of course, sometimes its just an ID 10 T problem.

Voicemail does not work after update

I completed the new update yesterday and received a voicemail this morning. I tried to access it but operator says that the person I am trying to call does not subscribe to voicemail.

What specifically does not work? Any errors?

I can only listen to old voicemails in Visual Voicemail since before the iOS upgrade. I am curious whose issue this is to resolve, T-Mobile made it sound like it is Apple's problem and Apple seems to think that it is T-Mobiles. Does anyone know who is working on this issue? Not having Visual voicemail *****, but not knowing you have new messages is just not cool when you depend on them for work! I need this fixed ASAP or I need to find a different carrier. Anyone else having this issue with a different carrier?

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.

Sprint iPhone 4 - voicemail notification not working

I can't seem to figure out how to set my iPhone 4 on the Sprint network to show a notification indication when I have a voicemail? I know someone on Verizon that gets their voicemessages listed in some sort of list - I don't get nothing - no notice whatsoever! Please advise or I don't have to wait in line at the Sprint store.

Oh, OK, so your big issue is with Notification Center. Personally, I have mail off in Notification Center, but my iPhone buzzes anyway when locked, which happens to be enough info for me.
But I see your original post says you have set up Notification Center properly to give you visual as well as audio clues you have email waiting, but it's not working.
I wonder if resetting your iPhone would help. Try holding the home and on/off buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

Voicemail indicator not showing VMs on phone

What do I need to do to re-enable the VM indicator on my phone. Appears to have stopped working recently so have missed voicemails. Phone is a Panasonic KX-TG6052 and worked when FIOS installed a month ago.

There appear to be various threads on this, some suggesting that it needs to be enabled by Verison support. Please can someone confirm.

T530 - Caps Lock Indicator Not Working

Sporting Windows XP (32-bit) on my T530 and as of recently, Caps Lock indicator has stopped working. Mute, Volume, Screen Brightness indicators are working as per usual, only CL indicator is not working anymore. Tried upgrading Lenovo Hotkey Features, rebooted but still no go. Also, I can't remember where do I find settings for Caps Lock indicator? IIRC, it should be somewhere in Control Panel/Display/Settings/Advanced/OSD, but it disappeared. I can only enable/disable OSD, adjust fade-out time and background/foreground color(s). Options for Caps Lock indicator are missing. Anyone experiencing similar problems?

I had the same problem. The newest hotkeys integration package is gevu60ew.exe and it has problems on XP. Here is how I fixed it:
Download gevu60ew.exe from the Lenovo website.
Install gevu60ew.exe, don't reboot.
Run the installation again from C:\Drivers\Hotkey\setup.exe.
Choose the uninstall option and uninstall everything you see.
Reboot.
Go to your program files directory and delete the folder "%ProgramFiles%/Lenovo/HOTKEY".
Download and install gevu43ww.exe, don't install the patch.

Reboot.
Should be fixed, no promises but it worked for me.

Caps Lock light indicator not working

The light indicator in the caps lock key on my PB don't work. It was not working when I bought my computer but seems to work fine a couple of weeks ago. Now, it's gone another time and I suspect a software problem but I can' t find anything to make it work. Any clues?

If the caps lock still "works" even though the light doesn't turn on then it could be hardware problem I suppose...but I thought LEDs don't burn out(?) so I'm curious to see the resolution of this.

2. COntrol field selection for MIGO to disable users from changing it.

My Voice mail indicator not working I have no idea I have voicemails how do I get it to work again with out hard reset?

At somepoint I have been getting voicemails and have not known it because the voice mail indicator is turned off. Called my voicemail and that is not an option when I go to my personal options. I am out of service due to the building that I work in and do not reiceive calls and missed calls do not always show up.. so indicator is needed. PLEEAAASSEEE HEEELLLPPP!!!

I turn off my cellular data since I only have 250MB for the month... and most of the time I am in a wifi zone....which make me wonder if my cellular data is turned on and I am in a wifi zone and should miss a call since the wifi takes over would I get the notice... I should not have this turned on all the time for the sole purpose of knowing if at some time I am in a dead zone and miss a call or not sitting right next to it.... my office is a dead zone as it is in an industrial building..... this is very disappointing especially since it was working for me at some point..... in conclusion still not working

Documentation says to go into voice mail, select to change the personal options, then 1 to set the indicator on but 1 is not an option on my phone.

Email Indicator not working like on the curve??

I just upgraded to the bb Tour 9630, after having much frustration with the curve 8330. Since I received the Tour, I can't seem to figure out why I cant get the following to work like I had on the curve...
On the new Tour handset, I have 2 different email addresses (both gmail) which I have separated as 2 different icons on my phone. Every time I receive an email, the new email icon appears at the very top of the phone (along with all other icons), however there is no red asterisk that appears directly on top of the actual mailbox which received the mail. This is very frustrating because I need to check both email boxes to see where the new mail was received.
When I go to OPTIONS, GENERAL OPTIONS, the "Display New Message Indicator" option only appears when you select "UNREAD" from the DISPLAY MESSAGE COUNT. And then it disappears when I select "NONE." So this means that I can only see the red asterisk over the specific email box if I have those annoying counts of emails at the top also.
I didnt have this issue with the Curve. I was able to have the red asterisk on the individual inbox icon, without the email icon (and count) at the top of the screen. Was this a feature changed for the tour?? I find it hard to believe, and I would be very surprised if that's the case. Maybe my phone is defective?

Hey you're right it works on the iPad emal app.
It was gmail on the iPad that wasn't working w/ the scheme. Gmail in the desktop browser works but not the gmail ipad app.

Migration of PO with "free item" indicator not working (BAPI_PO_CREATE1)

Hi experts,
we are using the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to migrate POs. However, when we try to create a line item with a price of 0.0 and a "free item" indicator, the PO is created with a price and without the "free item" indicator (price seems to be coming from source list).
Did anyone run into this problem before with BAPI_PO_CREATE1?

I suggest you not to use any price in the field
POITEM - NET_PRICE & donot flag the same in POITEMX
& flag the field POITEM - FREE_ITEM & also check the same in POITEMX
I have tested this & it works fine.
