Unresponsive Blank White Screen! Help!

I have an first gen iPhone and it froze on me while using an app. I tried to reset and it did nothing for a few minutes, then went to a blank white screen and is completely unresponsive to any of the buttons. I tried to plug it into my mac and itunes doesn't recognize it. The screen is just blank white and won't dim and has been this way for almost an hour now.

Try a reset. Press and hold down the home button, then press and hold the sleep/wake button and hold both buttons until the phone reboots.
If that doesn't work, then try to force the phone into recovery. To do this, hold down the home button, then plug your phone into your Mac keeping the home button held until a picture of a USB cable with an arrow pointing to an iTunes icon shows. Then open iTunes and restore your phone.
If that doesn't work, you have to take your phone into your local Apple store to get it replaced. They will exchange it for free if it is still under warranty.

30GB Video, blank white screen, help me please!

my 30 GB ipod video is frozen on a blank white screen. i restart it by holding menu and select and it makes a weird beeping noise and boots back up to the same white screen. how do i fix this?

When I try to access my iTunes Store from my iPhone 5 it opens with a blank white screen. Help!

When troubleshooting iTunes Store connection issues, the following articles provide the best information:
First, try signing out of your account in Settings > iTunes & App Store. Once signed out, go ahead and sign back in.

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:

I now get a blank (white) screen in the Viewer. Can still drop video from the viewer into the canvas, but don't see it in the viewer. Please help!

It doesn't seem to matter what project I'm working on... the picture in the viewer is gone. All I see is a blank (white) screen. If I put the cursor over the viewer and drag to the timeline, the clip will appear on the time line (and in the canvas) but I don't see it in the viewer. I usually edit my clips in the viewer and not on the canvas. Can anyone explain why this might be happening and how I might fix. I'm suspecting I must have messed up one of the settings but I'll be darned if I can figure out which one or how to fix. Please help!

David. Thank you very much. The problem was not with the canvas but rather the Viewer. But the solution was the same. Somehow, the Viewer window was re-set to Alpha. I changed it back to RGB.... and the picture is back. These issues are often very simple.... but they can drive you bats if you don't know the answer. Very grateful. Tim

What happened yesterday may have been caused by the SOPA protest action that was joined by a lot of sites yesterday and such an action won't happen that often.

i have read through and tried all the suggestions that i saw. and nothing worked. my ipod has a blank white screen, and every time i reset it. it goes back to that white screen and makes a little noise on its own without headphones plugged in or anything. my mac does read that it is there. so i can't do any updates or anything help me please!

Help to Diagnose Blank, White Screen for 4th Gen iPod

Can you help me diagnose my problem? Fully charged Ipod Gen 4 syncs and plays music, but I can’t navigate due to blank, white screen. Reset to original factory settings from iTunes, re synced with no improvement. Doesn’t even show apple or battery icon when charging. Any advice?

So you basically cannot see anything on the screen, because it is all white.
Since it can play music, connect your earphones and let it play continuously until it runs out of power and turns off. Keep trying to turn it back on and playing music until it will no longer turn on. Then let it sit disconnected for at least 24 hours.
You are trying to make the battery dead so that the iPod is completely unpowered.
Then connect it to the computer or the power adapter and see if the screen is working again.
Alternately, if you know how to open the iPod with the plastic tools, you can simply disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect.
There is always the possibility that your iPod's screen has become defective.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod will not turn on: completely blank white screen! HELP!!!

It was workingn fine this morning when it was connected to my car stereo adapter (purchased from Apple). Later this afternoon, when I went to plug it in again, there was no screen at all - I mean NOTHING came up - not even the green battery icon. When I got home, I plugged it into the adapter to my computer for more than 3 hours, but alas, still nothing. NOTHING at all but a BLANK WHITE screen! What do I do??? This was a $400.00+ VERY NEW (less than 2 months old!) iPod and I have been good to it (no dropping, protected in an apple iSock all day!!! This is NOT good!

My iMac is giving me a blank white screen at startup help

I just installed the sims 3 on my iMac and after the installation it kept giving me the spinning wheel so I restarted it. Once it restarted it just gave me a blank white screen for thirty minutes so I restarted it and held the option key so I could go into the recovery HD and repair the disk but still blank white screen. Now I've run out of ideas.
