Unresponsive / laggy ipad

I am not sure what is going on, but my iPad 3G (16 gig) has become at times completely unresponsive. It gets so bad that pushing wake/sleep or home has no response for minutes at a time. I have updated to iOS 3.2.2 a while ago. I noticed instances of lag after that, but more recently it has made the iPad unusable.
At first I wondered if it was the amount of free space (I was down to 145 mb), I removed some videocasts (leaving a gig free) and this improved the situation, but did not completely remedy it.
IOS doesn't swap disk memory so this should be an issue. Bad memory?
Also I activated it on Rogers, then recently went to the US for a month and activated it on AT&T (swapping sims). Canceled the ATT plan before I returned to Canada. Stuck the Rogers sim back in (I didn't cancel Rogers) and everything worked.
I was starting to get the problem while in the states.
I also wonder if the sim swap contributed?
Any thoughts or advice?
+Next I will do a software restore, but I am hesitant as I do not know how that will affect my data plan subscription. I worry that my original Rogers plan will no longer be accessible but that i will get charged monthly by Rogers forever.+

The low storage space available my be causing or contributing to the slowness. Sometimes deleting stuff from the iPad does not reclaim the storage space until you sync. I would sync and see if that helps (as long as you haven't/wouldn't add more stuff to the iPad by the syncing). If you restore from backup that all stuff should be restore including your Roger's stuff.

Home Button goes unresponsive when iPad locks, accompanied with Safari crashes

As the title says, I've taken notice that my iPad is slowly deteriorating performance wise. Safari has been increasing crashes over the past week, to the point where I think something is up if it DOESN'T crash within the last 10-30mins. The browser will freeze, and boot me out to the Home Screen.
I am now at the point where, once my iPad goes black after not fiddling with it for awhile, the Home Button will not bring me to the Lock Screen unless I double click it for the mini-music controls to appear. These things seem to have started appearing only after I updated to the latest iOS 5.0.1 update.
My iPad has suffered no outside trauma, the battery rarely gets to less than 5% life, and I've disabled unneeded and unused features, such as many of the Spotlight Searches. I do however, keep roughly 6-8 tabs open in Safari regularly, as I like to hop tabs as my attention span demands lol (that in itself may be the reason for the browser crashes..).
Does anyone else seem to have any similar issues, or know that it might be a firmware/hardware problem that is documented somewhere? I have seen other threads about unresponsive iPads/iPhones but nothing that matches my problem specifically.

I'm hoping I wont have to get to that point. But thats what its looking like its coming to. I haven't come across anyone else with the issue.

I bought an ipad mini from John Lewis in February. On Saturday the ipad suddenly stopped working. I tried charging it but all it done was go to the start up apple page (black screen with white apple) then shut down and constantly repeat this process.

I took it back to John Lewis today to get fixed as its still under warranty. Because there was scratches on the back of it.... Which is hard to avoid with the slate back!!! I got told apple will probably not fix it as it looks as if I've done it! I couldn't believe it!! If I honestly dropped it that bad to have caused a technical fault inside I would of smashed the screen as the same time!! Absolutely ridiculous as I know it isn't through any fault of my own.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Adding GPU Accelerated Cuda Effects is suddenly very laggy?

Hello Adobe Experts,
I am appealing for some help with an issue that has bugged me for a little while. The best way to explain it is to show you the problem in a short 4 minute video which I will post below for those who have the time to take a look. Failing that my description is beneath the video.
Essentially, I upgraded to Premiere Pro CS6 from CS5.5 and discovered GPU acceleration. Wow! I subsequently was due to upgrade my iMac and bring in the specs to make the most of this technology, especially within colour correcting and grading. The new machine we got is a 2012 Mac Pro 12 core (2 x 6 cores 2.4Ghz) with 32 GB Ram and a Nvidia Quadro 4000 for Mac (2GB). It also has an SSD drive as the OS boot and applications drive so hoping that things would be super quick.
For a time they were, I can remember adding the Fast Color Corrector effect to a video clip and dragging the wheel around and everything would move in realtime, the program monitor was updating as I moved the mouse within the colur wheel. It was smooth and silky which I just loved as it meant that colour correction/grading would be now very easy to accurately dial in a look quickly and then move to the next clip. Plus no need to render afterwards either, hooray!
Then recently, and I am not sure what has caused this, it stopped working as well?!? I still don't have to render the clip after adding the effect or making a change to the parameters, however the process of making the change has become slow, unresponsive, laggy, delayed, laboured or any other similar adjectives. Now when I drag the mouse in the colour wheel the update happens in delayed steps and it is certainly anything from smooth and silky anymore. The problem with this is that it is very hard to accurately and quickly move the parameters around and make those fine adjustments which in turn slows down the process greatly.
I am really keen to know the following:
Does anyone else with a similar system have these issues?
Is this just how it is? (Trouble is I remember it being much faster and more responsive. Also I watched Maxim Jago at a workshop and he didn't seem to struggle with these issues when showing off GPU acceleration and adjusting effect parameters, even during playback)
Is it a hardware issue? Does my GPU need to be faster or is it not being correctly allocated to Premiere Pro?
Is it a software issue? Is it something that has come about in more recent versions of Premiere Pro?
How can I go about resolving this issue?
So far I have tried a fair few things like resetting preferences, ensuring the GPU acceleration in the 'Memory' preferences tab is turned on, clearing media caches, removing and reinstalling Premiere Pro et cetera.
If any experts from the community can help or indeed anyone from Adobe can help me resolve this issue, or at least feed back thoughts and comments, then I would be so grateful.

Yes I have reset the preferences. I have also unisntalled Premiere and then reinstalled it. Also completely reinstalled my OS just in case.
Playback is running at full res and has been since I got the machine - never had an issue from the start and then all of a sudden..... meh!
I have three internal HDDs (3TB) striped together in raid for maximum throughput which are pretty quick (speedtest above). I did try to check this though by putting source content onto my boot drive which is an SSD and then trying to see if issue exists in this case which it does. I also tried transcoding to other codecs than h.264 and the problem is still present.
Yes there is a fair bit of software running in menu bar. Used to have iStats running which I have removed now and problem still persists. Others I wouldn't think should be taxking the GPU. Although I will try quitting out of everything none essential.
Definitely up to date on most recent version of PPro
The Quadro 4000 was superb once I first got it. As mentioned above, I could perorm all the edits to the mentioned effects with ease at full res whilst plyaing back and everything working fine! I just wonder however if the card may have developed a fault or need cleaning out of dust or something? (quite a lot of dust present when I last opened the side door). Is there a way to check this?
Same problem persists across different projects and codecs.
As I just mentioned to Maxim, I wonder if my GPU has developed a fault? The reason I say this is because sometimes my monitor doesn't come on correctly (just shows a black screen) and I have to turn on and off again. Also, sometimes within Premiere I have an issue where I resize a window and I get 'ghosting' of that window as I drag. Did also previously have an issue changing between colour correction workspace and editing workspace. The workspace simply wouldn;t change and everything was completely unresponsive. I just wondered if anyone knew a way to check the GPU without taking it out of the machine or indeed if this might be the cause of my problems?

Just got an iPad mini and now the screen suddenly stopped working. What to do?

Got my iPad mini as a gift last week and last night the screen suddenly stopped responding [while in use]... until now. Read and tried the troubleshooting tips here and other sources (resetting, cleaning the screen, restoring from back up, etc) but nothing seemed to work. It's currently running on iOS 6.1.3 syncs with iTunes and doesn't seem to have any problem as viewed on iTunes, wasn't dropped, abused or anything. Using warranty and having it replaced will be my last resort since I'm kinda embarrassed telling the person who gave it to me that it's broken or damaged.

HT201263 iPad not turning on

I do everything in this post: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808, however when I press the home button and plug in the charger the iPad just shows a quick flash like it's trying to turn on.
The only way I can get "plug into itunes" to display on the ipad is when I'm plugged into the wall not the computer. As soon as I take the charger out to plug it into my computer for itunes the ipad shuts off. Any help??

I bought an ipad mini the other day and Siri just stopped working today

I bought a new ipad mini in store of Thursday and was very pleased. Siri was working all well but then today it just stopped working. It isn't picking up and sounds through the microphone. What should I do?

IPad 2 Touch Screen haywire?

A problem has recently come up with my iPad 2. I've had it for almost a year and half now. All of the sudden it's been acting odd. The screen seems to think that something is using the screen I.e. opening apps, multitasking, and typing on the keyboard. However, I'm not touching the screen at all. The behavior is extremely erratic and renders the product pretty much useless. Now, I have tried fixing the problem several times with a hard reset (lock and home buttons), as well as a restore and while there was a period for a few hours where it worked but then the problem resurfaced. Is there anything anyone can suggest?
