Unresponsive screen, passcode enabled so can't back up on PC

I have a 4s, the screen is unresponsive, the buttons work but when I touch the screen it doesn't do anything. I thought I had everything backed up on icloud but when I log in on PC it shows nothing stored. I can't back it up on PC as unable to enter the passcode on screen. I have find my iphone installed. Is there any way to remotely back up my data? Please help me!

The website won't show backups.  You can only see those on an iOS device or computer that is signed into the account.  If you want to check on your PC, you can install the iCloud control panel for Windows, sign into your account, click Manage... on the lower right, then click on "Backups" in the window that opens.
This explaines how to set up iCloud on your PC: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html.  If you have Vista rather than Windows 7 or 8, download the iCloud control panel from here at step 1 rather than using the link shown.

  • Shattered screen, passcode not working, can't use cloud to restore

I shattered my iPhone 5s screen (ios8). Tried to back my data up to an old iPhone4 (ios6).  I can't back up via the cloud because the phone I'm baking up to is running an older version of iOS than the phone with my data on it.  I'm trying to back up from iTunes but can't b/c I can't enter my passcode on the shattered screen.  I only have backups on the cloud.  I have never backed this phone up to my computer.  Because I was told iCloud back ups were good enough.  But now I'm stuck in a catch 22.

Even if you had backups in iTunes, you would not be able to restore them to the iPhone 4 - you would run into the issue of it running the older version of iOS either way.
You can restore a backup made with an older iOS to a phone running a newer one but cannot go the other direction.
You will need to get your 5S repaired/replaced so you can restore your data.

  • CATS Screen how far we can  Scroll back

    hi All,
When you display or maintain the time sheet, you can change the data entry period using a scroll function. You can specify how far users are allowed to scroll.
The Lower limit relative field determines how many times users can scroll back, taking into account the number of periods you have entered in the Periods field.
Currently we are scrolling back 3 periods. we want to increase the number to 52 periods.SAP recommending use low number. Can we go upto 52 periods?(we have weekly time entry)
    Thanks in advance.

As such there are no restriction on the upper limit, but if u read the sap documentation the higher value in the Upper limit relative field can slow down system performace, as the number of records that the system must read from the database is also higher.
it says for Weekly data entry with 2 periods. if u have set the Upper limit relative to 2.In this case, users can scroll up to four weeks beyond the end date of the data entry period.

  • Screen failure so I can't back up?

I've finally got white screen but the phone is still functioning (I can even make calls and access my contacts when connected to car via BT).
I would now like to buy a new phone and sync my current data but I cannot do the following:
         * sync to iTunes because the phone is locked with a passcode
         * manually sync to iCloud because this can only be done via the phone
I have 'automatically sync to iCloud' turned on however it is not syncing overnight as per usual. I have found the same issue as an unresolved question from 2010 (minus the iCloud part). Would be great if Apple could initiate an iCloud sync but as a customer of many years it doesn't strike me as a likely service they would offer. I would presume I'm 'left for dead' but just in case - does anyone have a solution?

Unfortunately, this is one of the things that can happen with iCloud backups. It is designed to backup in the background, but it seems to me that it seems to fail if the user is not checking on its function. I still feel so much better using iTunes and my computer to backup and do it every night before I go to bed. I've yet to understand why the phone fails to backup in iTunes for people when the screen fails. I never have to unlock my device to backup and/or sync when I connect it to the computer, but if a screen fails, then users state they cannot do either a backup or sync to the computer they normally sync/backup to. Guess it might be some type of security failsafe, but then, that is just my guess. Good luck with your new device.

    Hi deamayfield,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your Music app is unresponsive, try restarting/resetting your iPhone:

Try rebooting it (hold home and power together for 15-20 seconds). If the display doesn't come back to life, you're out of luck. You're supposed to back it up before it fails. It's too late to do so after the fact.

  • I forgot my restrictions passcode for my ipad. under settings i went to "erase all content and settings" but it needs the passcode. how do i restart my ipad so it can go back to normal? i dont care about losing everything on it

Try and force the iPad Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

No, you can't. But you can connect it to your computer and iTunes to try doing a backup.

Just bought brand new new iMac. When browsing in Safari, sometimes the text suddenly gets super large. I'm doing nothing except reading the screen, tho I usually have my hand resting lightly on the mouse. I can get back to normal size by clicking "actual size" in View. But then it does it again a minute or two later. What gives? Something seems defective--but what?

From System Preferences, Mouse, Point & Click, Secondary click.  Go to it hover over Secondary click and watch the short video sequence change it left right, left right, you will see exactly what is does. No I do not think your Mouse is defective, you simply need to take control of your Mouse finger.

i googled for answer to resolve the zoom problem.  all the anwers just told you to read links but didn't tell how to fix the screem back to normal then it can be able to go to Setting to fix the zoom funciton.  HOWEVER, I accidentally found the solution myself by using a fingers or more
to draw circles clockwise on the screen....it will reset it normally.  I spent hours trying to go diagonally, compressively still didn't work.
