Unstable Connection & Many FEC Errors

Question

Hi all,
I posted some time ago regarding a slow download speed of around 2meg. The mods managed to reset my SNR and it went up to about 5.5. Over the months it has slowly been dropping and connection less stable. I have also noticed I rack up hundreds of millions of FEC errors every day. Are these number of errors normal?
My connection seems to drop out every few days. I have done the quiet line test and it seems ok apart from the hub of the wireless phone.
Can anyone suggest where I can go next? Is anything else of concern below?

That number of errors is very reminiscent of my neighbours connection. Looks as though you may have an interference problem
Have you tried tuning a radio onto 612 am and listening for interference ?
