Unsubscribe from "Windows Azure Team" emails

How can you unsubscribe from the Windows Azure Team emails? They don't have an unsubscribe link and the support links on the email are broken. Are they doing such a bad job that they don't want people to stop receiving their updates? It's
2011, how come you can't EASILY unsubscribe from a mailing list from this service?
Has anyone figure it out?

I want to know, if we are running our business in Windows Azure Platform -
1. Is it necessary to have infrastructure team (Like SQL DBA, Windows Admin, Storage Team, Monitoring team..etc) in our premises to support the application?
Or
2. Has Application developer to do all the activities like deploying app, storage creation and maintain, AD creation and maintenance, Traffic manager implementation,...etc?
Kindly answer this question for both IAAS / PAAS applications.

Its a very good question and I see no reason not to have the infrastructure team, If you are planning to use SQL Azure I am sure you will need a DBA to do everything that you do on premises minus upgrades to the software.
regardless of IAAS or PAAS Azure does not eliminate the need of infrastructure team at all, now being said that you can also have very talented engineering staff who can take parts of responsibility from #1 & #2 from your question above.
in short yes you need infrastructure team regardless of IAAS / PAAS, how big is the team you need depends on what your need is and can not be a generic answer. Azure does not eliminate need of any of your staff but it reduces their workload so they can focus
more on core of the work and less on infrastructure maintenance.

if you simply delete all the apps, storage, databases etc whatever is hosted on azure you should not get charged.

From Windows Azure `Edit in Visual Studio Online` ; Unclear On Which Login To Use

I have created a web site in Windows Azure and linked my site to `Visual Studio Online` where I can do automated builds upon checkin and all works.
Now from Azure's dashboard on the site I am presented with the option to edit it in Visual Studio Online:
But then I am confronted with a user authentication page.
Which credentials are to be used?
How are the provisioned exactly?
If they are not a windows live id...why not?

Bacpac import from Windows Azure into sql server 2012 fails

Very sorry if this is posted in the wrong froum I was not sure where to post
I am trying to verify a bacpac file I downloaded from my windows azure sql instance and I am getting this error when trying to Import into SQl server express 2012. SQL server 2008r2 is also installed on this machine. How can I fix this?

Error when calling Get-AzureBiztalkService from Windows Azure BizTalk Services Management Sample

I've downloaded and built the Windows Azure BizTalk Services Management Sample from

I've imported the module into PowerShell and have run the following script successfully

select-azuresubscription -SubscriptionName "Test"
replacing <subscription id> with my Azure subscription id from the portal and <certifcate thumbprint> with a thumbprint from a self signed certificate in my personal store.
am now trying the following command

where "oraman8" is my BizTalk Service and getting the following

As Buck's said, you may need azure subscription. If you have it but the problem occurred again, I suggest you could contact azure support team. In my opinion, I guess it is a account question.

I use firefox on my HP laptop running windows 7 and I also use g mail for email. I cant send photos from my windows picture library to email.

I developed one simple provider hosted app and I published it in my Azure website. I also published the SharePoint App of this solution in O365 site. I'm using Visual Studio 2013 Premium edition. I've followed all the steps to do this work e.g.
generate the client ID and client secret through my O365 site and updated the AppManifest.xml as well as web.config etc. In my AppWeb project, I've TokenHelper.cs and SharePoint.cs classes.
When I'm clicking the app from my O365 site, I get the following error "An error occurred while processing your request" which is due to the following code:

When I browse my Azure website http://sitename.azurewebsites.net, even there I'm getting this error. I believe that error is because there is no query string parameter there e.g. SPHostURL etc.
Please let me know why I'm having this redirection error.

For a better troubleshooting,
I suggest you do as the following:
Debug the code step by step to find the reason of the issue.
For the remote debug your app from Windows Azure, you need to download Azure SDK:
http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/
After installing the SDK, it will have “Attach Debugger” for Azure web site, you
also need to set "Attach Debugger" to on in the Windows Azure Management Portal

How to Database Connection from Windows 8.1

Hi, I am a newbee with SQL from Windows Azure.
Is it possible to see the Azure SQL server in my Windows Explorer browser? Or how to connect to this newly created database from my application. I would like to store the database in the cloud..
I have installed on my local PC a administration software package. Also installed on another PC the sql express version of SQL.
But wanted to use the database from Azure instead of my on-premmis sql server.

You also had a question if you can see the Azure SQL DB in your Windows Explorer. The answer to this question
is NO, but you can certainly see your Azure SQL Database in the Object Explorer in the SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio).

However, it's currently not possible for us to integrate customer-built processor code into our service.

Today I received an email "Announcing Windows Azure Read-Access Geo Redundant Storage preview". This is a sales email for a new product, and I do not want to be sent sales emails. How do I unsubscribe from such emails?

The only thing we did a few days ago was enable the Azure Backup integration. I am not sure if this broke the O365 integration as I didn't go back to the O365 tab in the dashboard after installing the Azure backup.
I have spent a considerable amount of time on google, however, majority of the posts talk about Update 1 which disables the password sync service. I have checked and all services are started with exception of Windows Server Essentials Email Service (WseEmailSvc).
The Azure Backup module is working fine and the registry location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Server\Productivity seems to hold the correct configuration information throughout the various keys.
I am at a loss as to how to proceed with this issue? I have checked but there are no pending updates and I have attempted a server reboot numerous times.
Would appreciate external input if you have seen this issue before or know where we can look to further establish what is going on.

I have a similar if not identical situation - I'm currently migrating from WS2012 Essentials to WS2012 R2 Standard w/Essentials role installed. The 'wseemailsvc' service continues to fail over and over, and I am unable to manage O365 accounts from within
the Essentials dashboard on the R2 server.
