Untagged physical object must be assigned to a tagged parent object   ?

Hi friends ,
I am using Auto-ID Test tool  as simulattor  of Device Controller  . When i tried to trigger Tag commissioning from AII , I have sent the proper informations like GTIN , Device Controller ID , command etc.,
        It is triggering the rule TAGCOM_AA but i was getting the error at the activity POBJ_CREATE as   " Untagged physical object must be assigned to a tagged parent object  "
    If i do the tag commissioning via  Auto-ID Cockpit it correcly processing and sending the XML message to the appropriate destination .
    Please clarify !
Thanks & regards.,

Hi  Michael,
Thank you very much for your valuable answer . But, i  stuck up   at the printer assignment .
My question is
1.If Tag commissioning will be taken care by the Device Controller ( Not by AII ) but command has to go from the AII to device controller .  If assign the printer  to  device group then AII will send directly  print command to Printer right ?
         Please clarify the Printer assignment steps .  I have referred the Slap and Slip configuratuion Guide but still doubt
     1. In Device Master Data Settigns - under Device Group Settings i have done as
AII_DC     WRITE_DEV_GRP     Writer     Fixed Device     Tag Commissioning     Door     WRITE_STATION
    But i have not assigned the Printer , Where to Define this printer is it  RFC Destination ?  Pls , clarify this point .
   2. If i do that Tag commissioning via Auto ID ****  pit  AII is sending  Print  Command Message to the Device Controller (RFC Destination - which is assigned to the Device Controller )
  Once agin thanks for the good reply .
Thanks  & regards.,

  • Logical to Physical objects Mapping

    Recently installed OLAPTRAIN's SALESTRACK AW, and noticed that there are many __AW_GENERATED.. object names.
    It is very difficult trying to trace back what these objects refer to, and quite challenging if we are using OLAP DML commands to create custom reports.
    This is the result of the 30 character limit AWM has when concatenating cube and measure names and concatenating dimension and attributes names.
    As an example for the Measure "Cross Over Linear Regression" (Logical Name: SALES_CUBE.CROSS_OVER_LINEAR_REGRESSION)
    "CROSS_OVER_LINEAR_REGRES" is COLUMN_NAME value in SALES_CUBE view and in ALL_CUBE_VIEW_COLUMNS data dictionary view
    "SALES_CUBE_CROSS_OVER_LINEAR_R" is the object name found using AWM OLAP Worksheet
    Now try creating Measure "Cross Over Linear Regression 1" (Logical Name: SALES_CUBE.CROSS_OVER_LINEAR_REGRESSION_1)
    "CROSS_OVER_LINEAR_REGR_1" is COLUMN_NAME value in SALES_CUBE view and in ALL_CUBE_VIEW_COLUMNS data dictionary view
    "__AW_GENERATED_164" is the object name found using AWM OLAP Worksheet
    I think AWM needs to be a little smarter in the way Object names are generated for measures/attributes.
    Possible AWM solution for this would be to restrict the Measure Name to 30 characters that includes the Cube Name length. User can then utilize the Short Label, Long Label and Description fields to enter proper descriptions.

    Although the physical AW object names are not shown in the data dictionary views in 11g, they are available through the Java OLAP API as of release 11.1.0.7.
    For example, many of the physical names of the AW object underlying a logical (i.e. AWM or USER_CUBE_DIMENSIONS) dimension can be found from the class
    oracle.olapi.metadata.deployment.AWPrimaryDimensionOrganization
    E.g.
    The name of the main AW dimension can be found using
    public final String getAWDimensionName()
    The name of the parent relation is
    public final String getParentRelationName()
    The name of the hierarchy dimension is
    public final String getHierarchyListName()
    To navigate from a logical dimension to the organization object you can do the following.
    MdmPrimaryDimension myDim = ...;
    AWPrimaryDimensionOrganization org = (AWPrimaryDimensionOrganization) myDim.getOrganization();
    Other physical object names can be located in other classes in the oracle.olapi.metadata.deployment package. This methods are public and supported, but do not appear in the JavaDoc. I don't know if they will be documented at any stage and I know of no immediate plans to make these objects visible through the data dictionary views.

  • Partner must be assigned to a Central Person

    Hi All
    I am having a problem trying to use a user with ICWC.  I have created an employee in ERP which has been distributed to CRM via PFAL.  The BP in CRM is linked to the CRM user ID in the identification tab.  The BP has the Employee role (BUP003).
    When I launch and login to CRM ICWC using this employee as the IC Agent I get the following error when trying to create a service ticket:
    Error:
    Partner <> (IC Agent) is not an employee
    Diagnosis:
    You may only use employee for assigning partner function IC Agent.  Partner <> must be assigned to a central person.
    Can anyone advise what data is missing?
    Thanks
    Mark

    Yes,
    The employee (BP) has been added to the org structure.  The Org structure shows the BP and the linked SAP user.
    I checked the HRMD_ABA idoc and it processed correctly (although I cannot verify if the contents are correct).  I checked SLG1 and there are no errors relating to the transfer of the HR data.

  • BIA physical indexes with no assignment to logical index (InfoCube)

    Hi there.
    In RSDDBIAMON2 I can see the following warning: one BIA physical indexes is not assigned to any logical index. They explain it as the following: when a BI InfoProvider is deleted from the BI accelerator, some physical indexes of this kind of index join may not be fully deleted and may remain on the hard disk.
    Question: how to delete this physical index which is not assigned any more to any BIA index? If I even rebuild all BIA indexes this physical index may not be affected as I suppose.
    Have anybody had such kind of issues? Please advise.
    Thanks
    Vadim

    Zdravstvyite i vi Vitali
    It's exactly my question. Yes, I know the physical index name but unfortunately I cannot find the way to delete it not in TREXADMIN transaction, not in TREX Admin stand alone tool...
    Will try again if you think it's there
    Thanks,

  • DM 2.0 (584)  can a subview contain/display physical objects e.g. snapshots

    The problem that I have is that I want to have a subview which displays/shows snapshots. I cannot figure a way to get them selected and then create a subview. Nor can I find a way to add those snapshots to an existing subview.
    Is it possible to put snapshots into a subview in either v2.0 or v3.0 Data Modeler? (or other physical objects such as sequences?) What are other users doing to organize dozens of snapshots in a single model?
    TIA-
    Harold

    Hi Harold,
    physical objects cannot be put on diagram. The case with snapshot is little bit different - you can create table in relational model and then in physical you can set its property "Implements as Materialized View" to point to snapshot.

  • Assign the Asset "Tag Number" at PO receipt stage

    Our customer has a requirement to enter the Asset Tag Number for an item when the purchase order is receipted (or even at inspection stage for 4-way match PO's). The tag number entered, should then flow through to the FA module.
    Does anyone know if this can be achieved with standard functionality, or if it can be done with a customization?
    Here is the basic flow steps, the words in brackets () are the change we're looking for.
    1. Create PO for item coded to asset clearing account
    2. Receipt PO (and assign the Asset Tag Number)
    3. Match the PO to the AP invoice.
    4. Validate and account the AP invoice and transfer that to GL.
    5. Run the Mass Additions Create Process
    6. Find the Asset in Mass Additions Create (the Tag Number field should be populated with the value entered in step 2)
    7. Post Asset

    Hi,
    This is unfortunately not possible with standards but you may try using Badi ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST => PROCESS_ACCOUNT.

  • Hi..assign a core tag value to a variable in jsp scriplet

    Hi
    I have a <core:set var="membershipType" value="${somevar}" />I want to set the membershipType value of the above tag to a variable in scriplet <% String member =""%> How can I do that,
    Any ideas
    Thanks
    jag

    EL variables are assigned to one of the 4 scopes -> Page, Request, Session, or Application. By default they go to the page scope, which corresponds to the pageContext object in scriptlets.
    The result is that you need to retrieve the value out of the scope it is in using the proper getAtribute(name) method, such as:
    <% String member = pageContext.getAttribute("membershipType") %>The best course of action, though, is re-designing your application so there is no need for scriptlets.

    Oh, a directory. That would require a different approach, yes.
    If you want to make use of appserver's default file browser and the appserver's directory index setting is turned on, then just add the following to server.xml:
    <Context docBase="c:/path/to/folder/you/want/to/publish" path="/pathyouwanttouseascontextrooturl" />This way you can start with directory browsing by http://example.com/pathyouwanttouseascontextrooturl

  • Assignment Rule to bring parent integer data to child

    I am trying to bring data from an integer field in a parent record to the same field in its child through an assignment rule in SAP MDM Data Manager.  After running the rule, I get the dialog box notifying me that the assignment rule was successful ("There were no assignment errors"), however, the number does not come through.
    I thought the issue was with the parent field going to the field of the same name in its child, so I tried a different integer field, and this did not work either - same result as before.
    I tried changing the target field to a text field.  The number that was supposed to come over was 14, but the result in the text field was "1:14;".
    Is the problem arising because there exists the possibility of multiple relationships?  Is there a way to bring over only the actual number, so that this data may go to a sortable field?  Please advise.

    Hi Rachel,
    you are right, there is a possibility of multiple relationships. That's why your result is 1:14;. It could also be something like 2:14,15;.
    If you are sure that there is only one relationship, you may want to try to simple take away the unnecessary information using something like
    MID(<field>,2,LEN(<field>)-1)
    You should then get only the number, which would possibly fit into an integer field.
    Hope that helps.
    Best regards
    Christian

  • Assign the Bookmark Tag from 1 site to another site which has none

    The majority of the Web Sites which I've Bookmarked have Tags assign [assume they did it themselves]. But, a few of mine have none whatsoever. How can I use another site's Tag since they are similar in nature (i.e. Health, Exercise, Food, etc.)

    Anton ~ iWeb stores everything in a Domain file, normally located in the ~/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder (although it can be moved). That's the file you need to transfer to your other Mac — not the published (HTML) files. See also NOTE 1 here:

    To open a site in iWeb, double-click its Domain file. See also this article:

  • Runtim assign child attr to parent attr on getLeadSelection action of Table

    Hi all,,,I want to add child attr's to to parent attr at runtime at the action of getLeadSelection of the table control so that all the columns values entered during runtime shud be made as child to the first column to create the tree structure of that row..
    the parent value shud in the first row and its child attr's in their respective columns in the table so to create tree structure dynamically..
    If anybody knows how to achive plz share or provide information on the same..
    Anxiously waiting for reply..
    Thanx in advance.
    Regards:
    Hanif.

    Hi Shaikh,
       I believe you are using TreeByNestedTableColumn as mentioned in your other posts in this forum. For showing a hierarchy in a table first you need a homogeneous node. I guess these are the attribute that you need to show in the hierarchy. ProjectName,ProjectTask,ProjectUser,ProjectStartDate,ProjectEndDate. From your previous [post|Go to new Row in table;. And project name is the root of the hierarchy. So your hierarchy would look like this.
    ProjectName       ProjectTask      ProjectUser      ProjectStartDate  ProjectEndDate
    ProjectA
                         Task1          User1           date1                  date2
                         Task2          User3           date1                  date2
    ProjectB
                         Task1          User1           date1                  date2
                         Task2          User3           date1                  date2
       If this is correct then you need to create a context node (Parent) with all the attributes above. Below that node create a recursive node (Child).
    //For creating a parent node use the following code.
    IPrivateParentNodeElement parent = wdContext.nodeParent().createParentElement();
    //Now you can set the value for the parent.
    patent.setProjectName("ProjectA");
    wdContext.nodeParent().addElement(parent);
    IPrivateParentNode childNode = parent.nodeChild();
    //Now you can create the child nodes.
    IPrivateParentNodeElement child1 = childNode.createParentElement();
    child1.setProjectTask("Task1");
    child1.setProjectUser("User1");
    childNode.addElement(child1);
    You can also do this at runtime.
    IPrivateParentNodeElement parent = (IPrivateParentNodeElement)wdContext.nodeParent().getElementAt(1);
    IPrivateParentNode childNode = parent.nodeChild();
    //Now you can create the child nodes.
    IPrivateParentNodeElement child1 = childNode.createParentElement();
    child1.setProjectTask("Task1");
    child1.setProjectUser("User1");
    childNode.addElement(child1)
    Let me know if this helps.
    PS: The code was hand written so it might have syntax errors

  • Assign HTMLfragment Title to Parent Page Title

    Is it possible to reassign the Page title of the main page
    accordingly to which ever HTMLfragments title is being viewed in an
    HTML panel ( I have multiple HTML panels on some pages)? If I am
    unable to do this, then when I bookmark any link on the page, it
    will always overwrite the bookmark entry, as it uses the Title tag
    contents for saving. If the title does not change when interacting
    with an HTML panel then the bookmark will always overwrite unless
    changed by the user when saving the bookmark.

    I ended up placing a javascript item in each of my fragments'
    head script area, as the last item it does, once it loads into the
    parent page fro mwhere it is called:
    document.title= "whatever title";
